Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

When Nox got to her trainer box she sent out Electra and gave her an apologetic look. The bulbasaur navigated the cliff's ledge with trepidation. She wasn't really that fond of heights.

((whoops good catch! fixed it. o v o;; ))
This time the attack knocked loose one of Electra's vines and forced her off the ledge! Luckily, she held on tightly with her other vine but she still swung freely over the deep chasm. As she frantically searched for a steady place to pull herself up, she sent another volley of leaves to fend off her ghostly opponent.

Electra swung through the air, vine desperately fumbling for purchase, when suddenly a large rock came loose in her grasp. The bulbasaur made a quick assessment, then threw the rock, hoping to hit Elesh Norn.

Electra was buffeted by the Flying attack once again. Seeing how well her last attack went down, Electra groped around and found another loose piece of canyon to throw at the dark type.

Electra tried to hold on, but her strength finally gave out. her vine slipped form it's anchor and she began to plummet towards the water far below. Thankfully, she was quickly recalled before that happened.
Nox sighed, happy that her pokemon wasn't too badly injured. She waved to her opponent before walking out of the stadium towards the PokeCenter.
