OOC For all gm event posts check page 20, page 43, and page 72 At exactly 7:00 PM island time, which was what the Hunter's cell phones were still set to, which incidentally meant they were sailing somewhere near the Bermuda Triangle, probably a Caribbean cruise, all Hunters would get a text:Text from BLOCKED Dinner with the Captain at 7:00 PM, at the dining hall, floor 6. Attendance is mandatory. The dining hall, previously blocked off, was absolutely stunning. The second the Hunters filed in, after two full chandeliers taking up two decks worth of space, were ice sculptures on both sides of magnificent creatures. Swans, arched wings, then deer with ornate antlers, and then what looked like two sides of a castle tower, Disney style. At the very center was a long table, and above them balconies and balconies of smaller sectioned off tables. The long table, able to easily fit the available Hunters for this current mission, was just as meticulously decorated. At exactly five chairs across was a detailed candlestick set, and at every three chairs there overlapped a vase of floral art. It was a task in itself to avoid the hundreds of ship crew milling about, handing out menus, talking about the wine list, the specials, so on so forth.
At the end of the table was the Captain, the exact stereotype of what you would expect someone of ship captain status to be, with a trim white beard and elegant equally white suit and coat ensemble. Next to him on one side were the captain's crew, and then, on the other more notably the Death lead, who was actually, apparently able to make conversation to civilians without shooting them in the head because they were sharing the same breathing space.
Scattered in various other clusters were the other division leads, and then a few unknown but most likely important members of the ship crew. All-in-all the setup was extremely fancy and a little archaic. This same setting could have easily been replicated a good thirty, if not fourty years ago.
Hunters were pretty much seated first come first serve, though it was to be noted that they were almost clustered almost by division. Despite the length of the table, clever engineering of the room itself made it seem like the table was shorter than it actually was, making conversation, from the captain all the way down to nearly the end, very, very audible for all at a normal talking voice.
A waiter eventually came to hand each Hunter that seated a menu. "Would you like anything to drink to start?"
He waited patiently, while handing the dinner menu as well which read:MENU SET MENU I
Tomato Terrine – Shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano and Chilled Tomato Water
***
Potato and Leek Soup, Sautéed Bacon and Garlic-Marinated Crab Meat
***

OOC Hunters can file in, settle down, order a set menu, order a wine, so on so forth. You can NPC the waiters as you please, but keep in mind they can only serve drink or write down your food for now, as food will not arrive until everyone is "seated" - If you have not posted yet you are free to just come in here and start rping from this point! Consider this another open social rp venture, and you are free to talk to whomever seated. Just make sure to quote them so they know you are talking to them! - If you are in a CRUISE PRP this happens AFTER your cruise prp but please have your Hunter attend this. This is literally the next installment of the event! - All Hunters once they enter the dining room must obviously remain seated until the end of the dinner venture. They may excuse themselves to use the washroom, so on so forth, but it's not in good etiquette to keep everyone else waiting too long, right?

Dakota had gone from one dinner area to another and as he seated (must've been the first one there), He looked at the menu. No point in getting anything else besides water.
This was sure awkward...

A buzzing against her chest let Ofelia know that her wanderings had to end and she needed to get to wherever was listed on the phone. It mentioned something about dinner and mandatory and the redhead was kind of glad now that she didn't eat all that ice cream from before. It would be rude to go to a dinner and not eat anything, right? Her stomach wasn't growling though and she felt nasusea instead of an appetite but considering they'd just seen a dead body and then a floor dropping out she had decent enough reason to be uneasy.
She entered into the area and looked around, spotting only one other person, and the redhead bobbed her chin down in greeting as she took a random seat.

"Something wrong, darling?" Candace whispered into Dakota's ear from behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder and giving a kiss against his temple. "You didn't try to order everything on the menu at first glance."Quote: Character name: Candace Pennington Cruise Alias: Elsa Bernstein

Wash found a space at a table and pulled out a chair for Sasha- no, Anastacia, before taking one of his own. "We should go on a cruise sometime - another one," he amended. So far, it was quite nice.

Hands shoved in his pockets, he made a point to seem as small and insignificant as possible. He was much more comfortable hiding in plain sight than he was sticking out like a sore thumb. Shuffling into the hall, he made perfectly certain that he was not the first one to arrive. Actually, he made a point to wait a little while. Quickly settling in a chair, he propped up the menu on the table... and peered over the menu.
....Is this what it meant to be a 'hunter'? Fancy dinners? Cruises? Relaxing? Honestly it did not seem this way when he was recruited. This was his first intro into this new world... just being 'de-podded' a few hours prior to this only get get a message on this new phone. Heck the 'fancy clothing' he was wearing was nothing more than a simple button up top, slacks, and shoes. It was the only real formal wear he even owned... who would have thought being a hunter meant dressing up???
Quinn settled in and watched the others curiously. He could not deny that he was a people watcher, it was a good way to learn about them. Sure he was not a introvert or anything, he would talk with others... but this was a good way to start yes? He did not know any of them, so instead he would sit here in the confines of his mind for a while longer.

Glenda also took a seat at the table, putting out her cigar and tucking it neatly behind an ear.
"I'm starvin'", she commented to no one in particular.

Dakota sighed as he felt the brush of Candace's lips before looking up, "Well....Otto and I we're on our way to enjoying a nice steak when things went down. Now i'm here, Don't know where the kid went too and Gosh you're very pretty." He got up, pulling out the seat next to him for her before sitting down again.
"How was the Casino?"

Nevada quietly as possible sat herself at the table. Instead of saying a word though, she texted Stormy. Because she wanted to be far away from the table anyways.
Ol-j-Man Text to Stormy: Nothing more then the usual craziness of hunters. If Gale doesn't mind sharing with us, I still think you should ask! Text to Stormy: I'd feel a lot safer to be with a hunter to be honest as well. I don't know, dead body has gotten me all weirded out....

Smith quietly shuffled into the dining area and quickly took a seat. Before even looking at the menu, he examined the various fixtures in the room. The sheer opulence of it was a lot to take in, and Smith realized this was the first time he had ever seen an ice sculpture. Staring at it for a moment, he pondered why anyone would spend so much time designing something in ice rather than stone or clay, but he soon realized he was spacing out, which was awkward for anyone who might have been looking at him to notice. Picking up a menu, he quickly went through the three options. Smith hardly had a sophisticated palette, so he felt rather simple when it came to picking an option. When the waiter arrived, he quietly ordered a water with lemon and placed the menu on the table.
Speaking to anyone within earshot, he questioned the options out load.
"Does anyone know the difference between a Tasmanian salmon versus the version you normally get served? Such an odd selection..."
Smith really felt like a fish out water in these kind of situations.

Natasha - alias Adrianna Ashlee - glanced around at the tables, and spotted a few faces she recognized; namely fellow Sun hunters. She made eyes at Evan to join her, eyes that said something along the lines of I wonder if the daily desert special is some kind of pie.
She took a look at the menu, and guffawed.
"Yeah, I think I'm really in the mood for chilled tomato water," she sniggered.

Maebe sat down quickly in a seat, and buried herself in the menu as quickly as possible. It was important, vitally important, that she order the dumbest sounding thing on the menu.
"Tomato water.. gross." That was a possibility, until she got to..
"Tub Tim Fish. We've got a winner, ladies and gentlemen." She put down the menu, happy to order whatever else came with a fish called tub tim. She didn't even like fish that much. How could she say no to TUB TIM? There was no other possible alternative.
The water came to take drink orders, and she flagged him down. "Yes, hello. I'd like a nice vintage Coca-Cola to go with my Tub Tim. Thanks. Thanks so much."

Ofelia was looking over the menu with basic attention, trying to figure out what sounded best to eat. She could have considered her hesitation as an act of snobbery because she wasn't sure how this was all going to taste. What if the food ended up being poisoned because she was super paranoid?!
Lamb sounded good though (which was in set I, she'd pick that) and the redhead was about to say something when someone asked the question about the fish. "The difference is ya jus' eat it an' don't ask questions?" Ofelia raised an eyebrow. "S'probably in how it's prepared? Try sommin' new if yer curious on it."

Jude pretty much sat down in a seat next to Maebe and stared at the menu.
"Hope you don't mind me following you around like a god damned shadow." He observed simply as he read down his options for the time being. Jude just didn't like to just hang out on his own during missions. Bad things happened when he did that.
He looked over what he wanted and announced, "Tomato soup with ricotta cheese sounds pretty decent." Jude then proceeded to ignore the menu as if it never was there.

[[Entering]]Melvin walked in with Rin at his side, rather surprised that the Hunter table was this elegant and well - expensive. Considering the slop they ate on the island and the usual uncaring nature of some of the leads, or at least that was the impression they gave, he didn't expect a dinner or even a fancy one at that.
Not complaining, he moved with Rin and took a seat with the other Hunters, a bit unnerved they were eating with normal people and thus their conversation would have to be a bit censored in certain aspects.
After pushing out and then pushing in Rin's seat, he took his own and regarded the menu given, looking for something that he couldn't have every day. This was a rare opportunity to have a very nice dinner, and he hoped that nothing interrupted it or ruined his appetite.

With the craziness still fresh in his mind, Ian made his way towards the dining hall, dragging along with him a certain Frenchman who was probably protesting the whole way there not that Ian actually listened or cared about such things.
The dining hall was, of course, visually breathtaking, and Ian took a moment to appreciate that all that glittered really was gold before towing Dorian towards the nearest empty seats.
"Mind if we take these?" he asked cheerfully, clapping a hand on the shoulder of an unfamiliar hunter, and then proceeding to sit down anyway, gesturing for Dorian to do the same. He leaned back in his chair and plucked a menu from his waiter's hand, eyes scanning the contents with a thoughtful look.
"A glass of Chardonnay, if you please," said Ian. "And I think I'll have the Herb Crusted, Pan-Seared Prawns with Balsamic Reduction. Hunky Dory, whatcha want?"
