The little filly watched as the butterfly flittered and dipped in the air above her head. She strove to mimic it, flapping one side of wings, and then the other. Then her upper pair, and then lower. She couldn't seem to get the order right, or work her muscles in the right way to take off.
Her bottom lip jutted out, a pout marring the youthful glow for a moment. Well, she would ask Daddy for flying lessons, or after much trial and error maybe she would it out herself. For now she was just content to be out of her basket and in the world she had heard from inside the wicker structure.
She skipped daintily along, following the butterfly in a round about sort of way, watching it land on a flower and feed, until she grew slightly bored of it not flying and disturbed the colourful insect, following it as it flapped onwards again. This went on for a while, until Anushka realised she had wandered quite far away from her home, and wasn't entirely sure of the way back.
She scraped at the grass, tapping a little hoof on the ground as she pondered what to do. She was sure either her mother or her father would come looking for her at some point, so she wasn't about tp panic, but she was slightly concerned about meeting a strange Soquili for the first time on her own. With that in mind, she didn't move much further, just looked around the meadow and at the trees in the distance, listening and watching for anyone approaching.

It was a lovely day for a stroll, accented only by the mare who had appeared moments ago into the clearing she now graced with her presence. Vibrant curls bounced with each of her soft foot falls. Delicate poise was etched effortlessly in her every movement, her hair adornments, though precariously balanced, stayed exactly where the wearer had intended them to.
Anastasia exhaled slowly, enjoying the warming sun and cooling breeze the day had to offer. If there was a better day than this to be had, she would eat her hat. She wrinkled her nose in distaste. Well, okay, no she wouldn't eat her hat. It was far too pretty perched on her head, and she doubted it tasted any good. After a brief moment of taking in the scenery she paused as deep purple topped with fluffy white met her gaze. What was this? A little foal out on their own? Concern soon flooded her features as she watched the young one. Where they perhaps lost? She softly cleared her throat, doing her best attempt at not startling the darling, and smiled fondly. "Hello little one."

Elisheva froze at the sound of someone approaching. She would have ran away if she was at home, and knew where to go, but being lost at that moment meant that if she ran, she wouldn't know where to and would be more lost, or possibly stumble into something else.
Her stubby tail gave a friendly, and somewhat relieved wag when the elegant and pretty mare came into view. She gaped up at her, taking in all the adornments and the curled and styled mane that she was sporting.
'Wow..' she chirped, flapping her winglets in excitement at having met someone that looked so fantastic, especially as it was the first time she had met an adult that wasn't her parent.
'You so pretty!' she said, hopping around the mare.

Anastasia grinned fondly down at the vibrant little filly that circled her, a tinkling laugh escaping as she watched the filly's antics. "Thank you little one. You have quite the energy!" She looked about again, growing more concerned when still no parents came to the foal.
"I'm Anastasia, though I know its a lot to say, so you can call me Ana, okay?" Her gaze softened on the filly, she was truly quite adorable, she would turn a few heads when she was older. "What may I call you princess?"

'Well...' Anushka looked to one side, seeming a bit bashful, and then chuckled as she looked back at the elegant mare.
'For a moment I was worried you might be one of those scary types that my mum and dad warned me about, and as I didn't know where to run..well it was a big relief to see you!' she said, nodding.
'Oh it's not too much..it is long like my mum's name. Anastasia.' she repeated it with another quick nod, the name tripping easily off her tongue.
'I am Anushka!' the filly responded, beaming at being called a "Princess". That was a nickname she could certainly get used to. She remembered her manners finally and dipped a little bow.
'I am peased..pleased to meet you.'
