After caging his hostage Alpha had split off from Beta and darted down a tunnel that branched off from the main chamber, tracking blood from earlier victims in his wake. Pausing in another smaller cavern he turned back toward where he had come from and grinned, let them come now.

Alpha is suggested for battlers over level 20. Pursuers now have approx 48 RL hours in which to make their first attack against Alpha. Please note that he takes no additional elemental damage as his grafted dovaa and drakeinian parts did not successfully confer clan affinity.
When HP reaches 0 he is unconscious but not dead.

All words in red are advice on what goes where! Roll 3 dice. The first is If you hit or not, the second is how much damage you deal if you hit and the last is your defense die. Read this to see what the dice do
Kadryn's Stats
xxxxxLP: 510 Subtract any damage dealt to you in the post above. 0 in my case cause Alpha hasn't attacked. xxxxxENG: 510 - 15=495Subtract any ENG loss due to attacks and stuff immediately!
Kadryn followed the blood trail down the twisting tunnel until she spotted the creature. It was misshapen and looked stitched together, to her eyes Alpha looked like a tormented soul that had been experimented on until nothing but a monster remained. Snarling, she began to spin her mace around and charged the poor creature. She'd end it's misery and then kill who had done this to it!
Attack
Charge!! (attack name: I make these up since I usually just write the rp and create a name for the attack she does) xxxxxDamage: Missed sad I hate my dice.... I am an expert, I need a 31-100 to hit. My 17 on the first roll means I miss.
If I had hit I'd use this equation to see what I deal to Alpha. ATK x DMG%=TOTAL (if hit, roll for BLEED (25% chance)) Bleed is my special Mace thingy. Each weapon has one. Make sure you go read the this for what your weapon does!
An example on if I had hit.: My 35 on the second die means I deal 25% of my attack's full amount of damage. Kadryn is using her strongest attack (Power Attack, the strongest there is) so she would deal 615 * .25 =153.75 damage The 615 is gotten by multiplying her ATK stat by 15. other attacks are: Unarmed = ATK x 5 and Armed = ATK x 10
Magic attacks are the same, they just use INT instead of ATK to determine what happens!
Whirling Mace Defense name, again, I just make these up. Make sure you use your strongest defenses! xxxxxWarded next: Physical= 1005*.25=251.25 :: Magical= 644*.25=161 Equation used is :: DEF x WARDED%=TOTAL I rolled a 16 so Kadryn's defense is only 25% of her total defense. Her total Physical defense is 1005 (DEF x 15). Her total Magical defense is 644 (DEF *2 + INT *15). 25% of each is this: Physical :: 1005 *.25=251.25 Magical :: 644*.25= 161
Damage dealt to Alpha: I missed so 0 (Damage - Their Warded) So if I'd hit it would have been 153.75- 112 = 41.75 damage dealt.
Erionda's body lay close against Uassae as they traveled through the tunnels. There were footprints leading them through a thinning trail of blood. Shivering Rio clung tighter to her Drakein. Her mind swirled, blushing as she recounted the past few moments. Kilian hadn't shied away from her, it was the opposite he had been accepting almost, relieved? Erionda couldn't quite put the pieces together. She couldn't bare to look back at him, fearing she would explode.
The caverns and tunnels seemed to go on for what felt like forever. Eventually Rio and the Drakeins emerged into a room. Fear shivered across Rio's shoulders as her eyes fell on Alpha. The very being who had trapped her moments before.
Pushing herself off of Uassae, Erionda growled. "You! What have you done to everyone! Do you get some kind of sick pleasure out of kidnapping and torturing everyone?" Her eyes skimmed over the Orderite as her attack missed. Her fists balled up in rage as the clan magic began to build up inside them. "I may not have been able to cause you much pain before. But now I'm angry!"
Chunks of flash frozen ice formed around Erionda's clenched fists. Her breathing was rapid with a swift round house kick, Erionda sent the ice hurtling towards Alpha. Her eyes blazing with a strange haze of rage.
Many thoughts ran through Kilian's head as they traveled down the tunnel. There were so many things to say. Yet he wasn't sure how to say them. Wasn't sure if Erionda could even handle hearing them right now. When he had seen her laying on the floor of that cage his heart had dropped and almost stopped beating. He had been so afraid that he'd lost her. He had been so relieved when she had stirred and wrapped her arms around him. Kilian shuddered as he remembered the feeling of her arms around him.
He chanced a glance up towards her. She seemed alright. Hopefully he was right. They were going to confront the very thing that had kidnapped her. She was one strong woman and he was proud of her for it. Not running away from this just showed how strong and courageous Erionda was.
It didn't take long before they found the creature. Kilian grimaced at the sight of the monster before him. Who had made this thing? And why? It was obvious that his appearance wasn't natural. There was just no way. Before he could even say or so anything Erionda was down from Uassae's back and going towards the monster. He watched as her ice attack formed and she sent if flying. His smirked as it made contact with the beast. "That's my girl!" He shouted as he grabbed his daggers and shot off towards Alpha. Kilian was quick, his adrenalin fueling him. As he neared the beast he brought his daggers up across the monsters abdomen. Blood sprayed out from the wound and Kilian jumped back to stand beside Erionda. His breathing was heavy but a smile crossed his lips under his mask. The monster's blood was now splattered over him but he didn't care. The beast inside himself had been let loose. He would not stop until it was over one way or another. The only thoughts in his mind were protecting Erionda and killing this monstrosity. Word Count: 333

Junjie felt his heart skip a beat as he caught up with Erionda and Kilian, having wanted so badly to be able to stop them from their pursuit of that creature, to talk them into leaving with him and going someplace safe. It seemed that it wasn't meant to be though, was it? No, Erionda had caught up to the one that she was after and was proceeding to take another swing at him... and this time it seemed that it actually landed instead of the guy being able to shrug if off as he had before. That was a relief at least, perhaps he wasn't completely invincible? Still battling like this, against something that wasn't a dragon, it wasn't something that Junjie had ever thought that he would do. He was a healer, not a fighter, he didn't want to become a part of such things. Did he really have a choice though? In this instance that creature had taken Erionda, it had kidnapped one of his friends. A voice in his head told him that it was true but there had been the chance for retreat, a retreat that would have made him look like a coward, one willing to abandon his friends, he countered.
Lifting his staff up he pointed it the way of the strange, patchwork creature, gathering strength to attack, but as he released the power to send it toward the guy Abellio came crashing into the back of his legs, throwing the attack off so that it went wide to one side. It was something that surprised him, sure, but maybe a little relieved too. He'd leave the fighting to the fighters and he... maybe he could stick to what he was good at? Healing first, and after that slowing things down. He had other spells, spells that didn't involve him having to fight to the death. He'd try those next he thought as he made a motion with his staff dragging the green energy he'd thrown toward alpha back his way, gathering it close, making it swirl around himself and Abellio both for defensive purposes and so that he could manipulate it into a different spell, looking for an opening so that he could cast once more.
"Stay behind me, Abellio, and no more running into me when I am casting." He murmured to the Keindred that had grabbed hold of his cloak in his teeth, seeming as though he didn't want to allow Junjie anywhere closer to alpha then he already was. He would keep his bonded a few steps away from the battle, would keep him away from those dangerous claws, and hopefully keep him away from being harmed in a manner similar to those in the other room.
He hurried behind Junjie to catch up with him and possibly with the others too. But what he saw at the end was his friend as well as Kilian with a Hybrid girl who has long pink hair who he assumed it was Erionda. And then . . . the thing that they have spoken about; the creature that is a much less attractive version of him. Eku was stunned at the sight of Alpha who was patched up with different races held together by stitches. There was dark skin with pale and wings with drakein claws as he looked completely bizarre. The mage stood there while the others have delivered a barrage of attacks to him and the only thing that he’s giving now is just pity at the creature. Just what sort of life he had? Looking at him longer had made him ache in terrible pain, but he can’t give him any more pity. After all, the creature appeared to have made a choice of what he wants to do with his new life.
The mage snapped out of his thoughts and looked around to see more of the blood of the experimentation lied about them. Grabbing a hold of his scepter tightly, he pointed at the collection of blood to activate his magic upon it. It lifted up from the ground and it collected together to form just like one of his blood skulls only darker in color as he used it to attempt an attack. But it appeared to make little damaged as it made him grit his teeth in anger at the result. It was to be expected for it was the blood of the dead and not his.

~ Akilae had hesitated for a few moments before jogging after Junjie. He had spotted several other fellow order members already rifling through filing cabinets. Surely they could gather enough important information that his assistance was not needed. Besides looking after jun was helping too it was.. making allies. It was perhaps a flimsy excuse but it was all Akilae had to justify why he was chasing after his fellow hybrid. Not that he was the only one by any means. It seemed Jun had several other rather interesting friends.
There was little time for jealousy though as Akilae entered the smaller chamber in time to witness a battle underway. The creature the others were attacking was.. well it was exactly where people had been whispering about only so much worse. This time there was no hesitation, reaching down he plucked his blowgun from the holster on his left leg. Into it he slipped a small, faintly glowing, dark purple needle. Spines from thorny bushes on Souldul made for excellent darts and Akilae was able to use his plant based magic to make them sharper and harder, or to explode upon contact, whatever was best for the current situation.
Aiming for the strange hybrid's throat Akilae gave a strong blow and watched as the magic assisted needle flew towards it's target. If this proved to be successful he would switch to his bow, as arrows could be similarly enhanced and had a much more detrimental impact on his enemies
She didn't care about the hybrid girl or whether or not she was released from her cage. She was Dovaa and Orderite, all of the worst aspects of Magesc rolled into one little brutish, overreaching child. No, Eanah was only interested in the fight. This horrible amalgamation of parts that shambled around under the guise of a man had to be stopped. She reached beneath her cloak, readying her scepter to strike. Thren huffed at her side, feeding off of her readiness for battle. Eanah raised her arm, preparing a bolt of concentrated power, she aimed, and just before she struck a pack of bats streamed out of a crack near the cave wall.
The girl and her drakein shrieked in unison as the Oblivionite's shot went wide. She would not miss again.
Die 1: Miss Die 2: doesn't matter Die 3 15 ( 10% defense) Alpha blocks 45 physical damage alpha wards 15 magical damage
Alpha laughed as he nimbly dodged out of the way of the blue skinned orderite's attack. She would have to be swifter than that to land a blow on him.
Before he could engage her though, the spirited girl from before and a drakein entered the cavern. Alpha was stunned by her continued ferocity, it seemed their earlier tussle had not phased her. He was not concerned by her anger, it was not his job to please her. Her word's though did upset him, she thought he had done this!
"I was made here!" Alpha snapped, too furious to throw up more than a weak magical barrier, the magic laced iceball caught him square in the chest and the experimental hybrid staggered back. Trying to catch his breath Alpha could not continue to further protest how this facility was not his doing.
Winded and still a bit stunned Alpha was unable to move away from a speedy little oblivionite who had joined the fray. The cuts he suffered were not deep but they did hurt and For the first time Alpha began to doubt his ability to win. He had been through so much though! They had done so much to him in the name of 'improvement' and still he was failing, how could this be?
Alpha scrambled away from another burst of magic and tried to find his footing. If he could just steady himself he could show them his true power.
The blows refused to stop coming though and it was as if this group had found his weakness. Magic and magic coated objects continued to strike him despite his best effort to dodge out of the way and little by little Alpha could feel his strength fading.
Finally there was a break in the assaults and Alpha prepared himself to fight back. Brandishing his claws he lunged for a nearby oblivionite who's skin bore it's own stitched markings.
Suddenly though there was a keindred in his way. Alpha tried to pivot and go around but there was just so much of the silver and gold beast that there was no way past it. Instead Alpha found his feet getting tangled around the drakein's claws. The young man was pitched forward to flail helplessly before hitting the ground, somehow managing to not fall onto the pudgy keindred that was his undoing
[ Round two of attacks begins now, you do not have to follow the same order as before and you may still attack if you missed round one]
Kadryn growled in disgust, how could she have missed! Spinning around, she saw the creature get tripped up by a round Drakein and laughed. But now she was in a predicament. She was much too far to charge and there were way to many people between her and the enemy.. what to do? She grinned as an idea came to he. Hefting her mace she threw it with all her considerable might down the people packed tunnel at the fallen Alpha. While she might have hit someone else, she was fairly confident her throw would connect. She grinned as it hit and the large spiked end gouged out bloody scratches with a meaty thud.

Kilian heard the whirring of a weapon being hurtled through the air and turned around swiftly. His sockets widened as the mace like weapon flew inches by his face. His gaze followed where it had come from. An Orderite. Was that...Kaydryn? He shook his head at the female and just smiled. She had spunk when he'd met her before. He wasn't surprised by her attack.
His attention went back to the monster they were fighting. He gritted his teeth and growled low in his throat. Kilian tightened the grip on his daggers and took off running as the monster tried to get back up. He turned his daggers around and instead of using the blade, he slammed the pommel of the daggers into the side of Alpha's head, making contact with a sickening thud. He jumped back away from the beast and back to Erionda's side. Word Count: 146
The mage curses at himself for the weak attack. He could do better than that and he should, but his damn thoughts got in the way of what he’s supposed to do. But the thoughts had finally left just when he saw the creature standing before him. His hollowed eyes widen at the sight at the claws that were aimed to strike him down. His defenses were not the best ever and now he regrets for not training on that more. Just as he is defending for the worst, Vilzun moved in the way as he growled fiercely at him. Sparks crackled from his clenched and his claws reaching out to scratch at his legs.
“Vilzun . . .” Eku was shocked to see that happening before him. He looked up to see the patch worked creature tangled up his feet to move away from the chubby keindred to the point that he fell down to the ground. And . . . he didn’t believe that happened just now. He stared at the creature while the others have begun their attacks (by miracle he wasn’t lodged with the flying mace) and he slowly grinned. He laughed so heartily as he walked up to pet Vilzun on his head ever so lovingly which made the creature squealed slightly in joy. “Ya be doin’ a good job Vilzun. Tonight’s dinner be one very special for ya when we go home . . .” And his gaze slowly turned to the creature. There was no pity anymore for the one who shared the same features as him and pain. He could have done something better and not be stupid. But oh well, he lifted his scepter and the skull that sat on top began to glow a dark aura. It expanded to take the shape of the skull as it looked as though it’s cackling manically. “Sorry mon, ya be takin’ too much of our time.” With a swing of his scepter, the shadow skull was launched and its mouth has opened up to engulf around the creature’s head in the attack.

Battle over
Alpha had never felt as unskilled in his life as he did in this moment. He simply could not seem to get his bearings and for all the power flowing through him he could not even graze his enemies.
When magic skull encased his head the unnatural hybrid's body failed him and he he fell to the ground again as he slipped into unconsciousness. Alpha still lived though, his chest rising and falling in a slow rhythm and his wounds bleeding out but not fast enough to rob him of his life before it would eventually clot and stop.
[ Congrats guys you defeated Alpha and nobody took damage the process! Feel free to rp here for the next 24 hours before NPC's show up to take away the unconscious Alpha at which point the thread will be locked. You may also/instead return to the main meta thread, join the civilians looking for notes/ trying to rescue someone or help render Beta unconscious]

Erionda flinched as attack after attack landed on Alpha. The strange person didn't even stand a chance against their barrage. Part of her felt relief and yet, she felt terrible for what had happened. Was Alpha really any better than she was? He was a mix of races just like her. Though he had more of a mix in him.
Turning to Kilian when he returned to her side Erionda gave a weak smile. "Thanks, I owe you one. And especially for getting me out of that cage." Erionda shivered as she looked back at the girl he had glanced at earlier. Did he know her? A shiver ran down her spine before she turned back to look over the unconscious Alpha. A hand moved to press lightly on Kilians arm. "Wait. Don't hurt him anymore." There was a soft pleading in her tone as she shifted towards the room's entrance.
"There's another beast here. Like him. It carried me. I want to find out what it was." It was the fear of not knowing what had been around her that only added more fear. Her imagination had a way of running wild. And not always in the best way. Her mind was able to conjure things far more terrifying than then what really existed.
