Post here to let me know you guys are still interested. As for the guild plot update here is what we've got:
So my thoughts are still keeping it pretty early into the end of the world. Maybe bumping back about 2 to 3 weeks after the fall. There will be four groups to begin with. Three of them are set up in various places around a valley while the fourth is just coming back form a survivalist/camping trip and has no idea what has happened. The other groups will have specific supplies and trained people with them leaving it up to those who are just coming back to decide who to go with and who to trust. Those within the valley must find what they need to survive and defend themselves not only against the undead but sometimes the living.
Please let me know what you think or if you have any ideas of your own. Thanks guys!

Sounds good to me biggrin Groups are good that way everyone at least has someone to interact with -nods-
Plus an unknowing group walking into zombies is always interesting :p

Fantastic :3 I'm glad people are liking this so far.
Another idea I've gotten via talking with members. Skills, I don't want to do a battle system or anything but having people gain abilities as the rp goes on. I'm thinking of basically a star system. This many stars means a character good in one area or poor in another. We'll end up doing things to make a person get better as time goes on. Set skills up so they have general abilities then add unique ones depending on background and hobbies.
So I'm planning for each group to have at least a Leader and a radio operator who helps keep communications going. Does anyone want to pre jump on teams? Below is the list of the teams and a general idea what they have advantages on. Leaders will get to pick what kind of base you have but please note no where is perfectly safe yet.
Group 1: Medicine guys Advantages: - Has the most medicine stockpiled - a variety of medical equipment. - Has a medium stockpile of food - Has a chef
Disadvantage: - Little to no ammo or guns - High risk of expired medicine - Lack of skilled people - Has a survivalist enthusiast (very confident, very charismatic, has NO idea what they are doing.)
Group 2 : Gun guys Advantages: - Has the most weaponry and ammo stockpiled - Has a fully trained surgeon - Has a medium stockpile of medicine - Has the most alcohol (need drinks? need molitav cocktails? they are your men)
Disadvantage: - Has the least amount of food - Very overconfident in their security - Trouble in the ranks (not everyone trusts the leader) - No one knows how to hunt
Group 3: Foodies Advantages: - Has the most ammount of food - Has a medium stockpile of weapons - Has a very well trained fighter (possibly a solider) - Low stress levels
Disadvantage: - Has the least amount of medicine - Has children in it - Has a bad cook - Has very poor storage for the food
Group 4: The Newbies Advantages: - Was taught very basic survival skills - Has a leader who is a trained survive and fighter - Has at least a person trained in the fields (one cook, one mechanic, etc) - Best stress level (hasn't had to deal with the trauma yet)
Disadvantage: - Has no idea what's going on - Has very little supplies - Comes back in with vehicles (lots of noise) - Doesn't know who to trust
Group roles taken: Updated as of 6/17 Newbies: Leader Female Character Male Teen Gun Guys: Surgeon Foodies Male Teen Male Child Medicine Partial trained nurse
Leaders will get a pm with potential base sites. It's up to them to chose for the safety of them.
