They'd decided on using the gym, sent out creeps to anyone interested, and set up a table to the side with an ice chest of water beside it, and snacks on top of it. Roch had even set up a few speakers in the corners, setting it up so the music would be coming from all directions. They were hooked up to his eyephone at the moment--but he'd dragged the drums and other band equipment over, just in case.

He was looking forward to this, he thought as he munched on a bag of chips and waited for people to show up. Technically he figured the band was "hosting" the dance class--but at the moment they were just there to... y'know... watch the ghouls dance. Even if one of them was his little sister and about as sexy as a board. It'd still be cute, right?

How the jack was he going to take pictures when he was using his eyephone as a stereo??

No wonder the punk boil looked suddenly terribly depressed. The moron.

Roch looked at Nahm.



"How... how am I gonna take pictures when I'm usin' my phone for the music??" he asked pathetically.

Yes. This was more serious than his favorite mini being eaten. So serious.

Roch stared at him blankly for a long, long moment. "Be right back," he said finally--and literally shadowstepped out of the room. Those that didn't see him appearing out of nowhere on the way to the dorm would see him flat out running for the two minutes he had to wait between shadowsteps.

THIS WAS SERIOUS BUSINESS, OKAY.

Terra came in a moment later. She'd obviously been ransacking her brother's closet again, because her t-shirt hung down to the bottom of her shorts and said "This is a band shirt, but you're not cool enough to know them." Her blond hair was pulled up in a pony tail and she had an excited look on her face.

"I am here for the dance lessons!" she said. "Hola, Nahm!" she added, waving at the grue with a huge smile. "Do you know the dance we will be doing?"

"I got the MPScree player!" Roch called out, literally running into his little sister. He grabbed her before she fell from the impact. "Sup, Terra?" he said cheerfully, picking her up by the waist and setting her to the side.

Terra gave him a dirty look, but he was too busy running off to replace his phone to notice.

Seiji had been there the whole time.

No really, he had. Sitting back, watching Nahm and Roch talk before Roch had run out to fetch the music player. When Terra arrived he gave the ghoul a little wave and a smile.

Hadiyya on the other hand was only now making it to the gym. She'd exchanged her usual attire for something more appropriate to a dance lesson. A pair of running shorts with high slits up the sides, and a simple, pale blue tank top. All seven feet of her dark hair had been pulled back, braided, and looped around so it would tangle around long legs.

She hadn't bothered with shoes.

"Afternoon boys," she drawled as she strode in, a henna traced hand resting on one shapely hip. "And you must be Terra." A grin was offered the other ghoul.

Hadiyya shot Roch a quick smirk as his little sister rushed up to her and began raining down compliments. It left the djinn chuckling, and she caught one of Terra's hands in her own, lifting it up so she could give the other ghoul a twirl. "You're much too kind," she purred, and because it was a dance class, brought Terra out of the spin and right into something that she might find more familiar. A classic tango.

There was no music, but that didn't matter. Yaya rose up on her toes, pulled the reaper close, and began striding across the room with her. "If you think my hair is impressive, you should see Junko. She's got twice what I have." Once upon a time the djinn would have been jealous of her friend's hair, but she couldn't imagine having to deal with nearly 20 feet of it. 7 was enough of a hassle.

Sin really wasn't too sure about this whole dance class idea, she'd had dance lessons since she was a scareling. Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, anything that would serve her in the upper class demon soiree world, but her father had put a halt to any lessons that looked inappropriate to his eyes. Her dance instructor had even been fired after she'd managed to convince him to teach her a little Salsa and Rumba apparently that much hip movement on his little ghoul was out. Here however her father couldn't control what she learned, so joining her fellow students seemed a good idea.

She heard some tango music and hesitated if they were just teaching the ballroom basics she could probably just take the time to go for a jog instead. Though...she thought she heard Yaya's voice as well and Sin wouldn't want to pass up the chance to say hello to the ghoul.

"Si! Please do join us!" Terra said with a happy smile. She didn't look like she was being taught the basics--at all. In fact she added steps, little kicks and hip twists to the dance that weren't there for the classic--but were there for the way she was taught. And the ghoul knew how to use her hips very, very well. "We will be doing the real dance soon, we are just playing!"

Roch didn't even falter in his playing--which was probably because he'd been playing so long. He grinned at Seiji, then shamelessly went back to enjoying sexy ghouls (and his sister) plotting to dance. "Seriously," he said quietly, "Bein' stuck in a room with boils to practice all the time makes this a jackin' nirvana in the makin'."

It looked like Mikey and Nahm had failed to change his tune.
