Had one looked really hard into the darkening shadows one would not have missed the subtle shift of a large creature into a smaller sized creature. Still, the dark of night afforded a certain luxury to Tsaheylu. He could walk around almost unseen especially during the new moon. With his pelt as black as night it was hard to see exactly what direction he could come at you from until it was too late. The skinwalker was able to conceal himself by slinking through tall grass as silent as could be.
His muscles rippled as he began the night's hunt. Someone, somewhere would become his next meal. The insatiable hunger that clawed its way into his mind needed to be quelled and soon

Felise was full, she had managed to get a meal that was at least satisfying and now she was enjoying the calm of the night. Her mostly white fur was a grey in the dark, though usually it shon under the moonlight like a beacon. As it was she was a little better off than normal but not by much. She sat in the lower branches of her favourite tree, cleaning herself up after her meal, the remains of what she had eaten a little distance away so that she would not be bothered by scavengers. In fact she could not see the tree she had eaten under from here. Her eyes shifted as a scent drifted on the wind, an ear flicking she stops washing herself and sits still, peering into the dark. The smell had been faint but that didn't mean she wouldn't have unwanted company. Her eyes trailing over the area before she bounds up the tree a few branches, settling in among the leaves, her eyes on the ground below. (ok she is smaller than him than I thought lol she comes up to his shoulder when they are sitting like they are on the certs)

Pale green eyes flashed in the night. Tsaheylu had caught wind of a promising scent. While he was more prone to hunting down his own prey if there had been something left behind who was he not to take advantage? The catwalker finally spied what it was he was scenting before narrowing his gaze. Another scent lay over the remains of what had been a fairly sizable creature. Now this was curious; the scent had similarities to his own and as the walker inhaled deeply he could tell that there were also differences. How very peculiar.
Seeing no reason to pass up on a free meal, Tsaheylu crouched down at the remains and began to eat his fill. Large canine teeth cracked at the bones as his tongue rasped the surfaces clean. When he'd satiated the hunger clawing at him from inside, there was nothing really left but a pile of bones. Pacing outwards Tsaheylu was intent on finding the owner of the scent that still lingered in the air.Faid Shadowlight Does adding this in after posting alert you too?
