He gave a nod of his head when she mentioned her mother liking them, the girl had a sad past, most of those here had tragedy in their life on some level but sami's was more tangible then most's here. He gave a small shrug of his own when she said he was just the closest. Way to make a guy feel special he said with some amusement in his head. Shizen gave a slight nod to atlas' comment once she spoke. He was still walking backwards comfortably as they finally made it within sight of camp. "but it's dangerous, we cant afford to lose anymore people, we need you safe and there's more chance of you staying safe if something does go wrong if there is someone else who is equally stealthy to go along. If you wish to do more then just basic scouting then you need to bring along someone else of your choosing" he said. This wasn't something he planned to budge on, he needed to keep people safe, if they were going to go play pranks it was more dangerous and more chance of getting caught then sneaking through trees. She needed back-up to do such things and that was that. He nodded his head a bit, so far she had yet to injure anyone to his knowledge.
He watched with a bit of sadness as she ran off towards camp as soon as she could manage. He rubbed his arm a bit, he didn't really like going against what others wished to do but their emotions shouldn't rule over their safety and he was the one who had to tell them when they were doing so. He looked over to atlas when it was just him and her. She spoke once sami was out of earshot. He nodded and glared at the ground, "it's the mixture in them, their more animistic nature of the pokemon mixed with the mind and aggression of the humans. In us somehow it evened out, we can see reason and seek peace and want to protect others. They want to lash out at others, blame everyone for every hurt they have and will kill as we've seen" he looks up, his smile gone as well. He held her gaze for a moment then sighed "it's sad" he said, looking towards where sami ran off to "they cant see past their hate to see the people they hurt and those they hurt through them, they may have been fighting sami's sister but they hurt sami as well but somehow they are blind to that, somehow they cant see the chain of pain hatred like their's brings" he said. He didnt mean to get so serious but he hated to see the pain in some of his friend's faces that came about due to things the so called resistance did.

All you're giving me is fiction"  "You make it sound like they're like me." The rustling of her feathery wings sounded from a darker section of the tall trees. Her fuchsia eyes locked onto the leader of the Doverie. Stepping forward, Carthage lifted her left arm, providing the necessary space for her Girls to move about. The larger of the two serpentine heads rested itself on her shoulder, the other moving down her back to rest on the armor around her waist. The mixture used to create the Hydreigon gijinka had been perfectly balanced, but the natural aggression of the pokemon had filtered into the woman, providing her with a attitude far different from that of the rest of the Doverie. "Do you remember the Deino child that the scientists left for me to care for? They wanted to see if we could develop family bonds, like other pokemon species. Not that it would work. My evolution is a harsh one. The Deino bites and batters, injuring itself and making it hard to care for. The Zweilous fight themselves often, their DNA was never mixed properly. It was too much trouble for the scientists to keep track of them anyways, with their massive diets and all. Last of all came me. A beast whose mindset never really sat with caring and polite words. The Hydreigon before me shared the minds of all three of his heads. Literally drowned himself in thoughts..." she fell silent and frowned, her black and pink eyes falling towards the serpent head on her shoulder. "No...We don't do that." she growled, seeming to be speaking to the head. For a few moments, she and the head engaged in inaudible conversation before she spoke aloud again. "There is not only peace in the Doverie and not only hatred in the Resistance. Shadows and Light tend to fall equally." These words, as usual, would probably be the only non-mocking thing she would say all day.
The head by her waist seemed a bit at unrest as it took in the scent of something intriguing, tucking itself into one of Carthage's many hidden pockets. It came back out with a piece of dried meat between its needle-like teeth. This drew the attention of the dominant head, which promptly slithered down to claim a tasty prize. The woman glared at them and let out a warning hiss, they immediately tore the meat in two and moved to their respected positions. "Anyways, Green Fingers, Unicorn, I find that a preemptive attack, or ambush as some would have it called, requires at least three or more people. I would gladly join in, but seeing as these two," she motioned to the two blueish heads", are feeling a bit ornery, I might call the card of opting out. Besides, Unicorn, it's morning. These things are best done late into the night."

Sami grumbled again, she needed to get some air. She swept her feet over the bed and placed her face into her hands, "I need to get this feeling out of my chest... I feel like i'm drowning" she muttered, standing up. It had been a few hours and it was time to get to work. She sprayed a bit of water on her face to calm herself down and the took a peak outside of her tent. She noticed the Captain and Carthage talking. She would have to avoid them and anyone else in camp if she wanted to get out without having someone go with her one her little expedition. She used her stealth to sneak out of camp and looked back, "sorry Captain, but I just can't go through losing someone else because of me again... i'll be fine" she said, adding the last part to justify her reasons. Not that he'd hear her anyways, she rushed off and laughed, "I'm going to prank so many people hehe" she said. She was being rebellious and she knew she'd probably be punished by her Captain if not by the scientists. She didn't care, she needed to vent her emotions and try and forget the pain she felt. First she needed to stop by her sisters grave again, just to talk to her about all the pranks she was going to pull.
