The Family Mother~ Rondel Forte Amachi- Rondel (called Del) was and still is an adventerous soul. Del is more of a satilite member of her family's herd and hasn't seen any of her family in many years (a fact that doesn't bother her over much). She prefers to stay with her mate, Crescendo in their grove near his mother's territory, where they raised their oldest two boys. But due to circumstances they have moved within the forest for the time being. (See Pachelbel for why.) Father~ Crescendo (Cres)- Child of the mysterious Clef, he and Del met when they were young and have been inseperable ever since. He's very devoted to his family and their well being and is a very supportive parent. Eldest Brother~ Pachelbel- Pachelbel (Pach) is the oldest of Cres and Del's children. He's a skilled dancer, and picked up a few tricks like dancing with the wind from his mate Tinuviel. He's very sweet and sometimes a bit shy, but is fiercely protective of those he loves. Due to the fact that his mate is hunted by a skinwakler, it was decided that the family would split up for the time being. Pach currently lives with Tinuviel's family and the Vanaras Herd. Older Brother~ Beat- Sweet and excitable, Beat's full of energy. He's currently out seeing the world, but isn't exactly sure why his parents wanted him to leave the grove in the first place. Although he was supposed to go to his grandparent's herd, he's currently lost in the wrong direction, but in the company of a half-kirin mare named Alyssia Flew. Maternal Grandmother~ Melody Forte- Strong-willed, but also easy going, Melody can be a force to be reckoned with. She hasn't seen her youngest daughter in years, but at least knows that she's well taken care of and has a loving famiy. Maternal Grandfather~ Mecho Amachi- Very giving and gentle by nature, he works as a trader finding items needed or desired by others. He also hasn't seen Rondel in years, and only saw her briefly when she was a foal and then again when she was a young adult and setting out with Crescendo instead of returning to the herd. Paternal Grandmother~ Clef- A guardian of the forest, she welcomed her son and his mate back into her home. Although still aloof, she's playing a more active role in this batch of grandchildren's lives. Paternal Grandfather~ Lorin- Cres's father, but he hasn't seen him since he was a foal. Paternal Aunt~ Staccato- Just a touch older than Pach and Beat, the boys didn't see their aunt very often. She's a bit wild and untamed but shouldn't be too bad of an influence on her new nieces and nephew. Younger Sister~ Claves- Even as a basket she seems to hold herself apart from the two others. What could this mean? Youngest Sister~ Timpani- Her basket is constantly in motion, wiggling and hopping about. Seems we've got a lively one here! Other~Many many many aunts, uncles, and cousins on the maternal side!

Basket's Name: Holst
Meaning?: Gustav Holst [21 September 1874 – 25 May 1934] was an English composer who is most famous for the orchestral suite known as "The Planets" and was known to not welcome the fame it brought him. A lot of his other work is largely neglected and while wikipedia claims this was mostly until the 1980s, I've always been very hard pressed to find his other work on CD. I've also read somewhere that although The Planets remains highly influential, it has also been rift with copyright infringement.
Personality: Temper: Enduring
As the eldest of three siblings with two younger sisters, Holst is an overly serious soquili. He has a tendency to treat things as being far more important than ever should they should be, especially with a family that is a lively bunch. He is the quiet dreamer of the three, content to gaze up at the night sky in contemplation of what his future holds and perhaps takes after his mother a bit as he sometimes a sense of wanderlust to go out and see what exists beyond the horizons that he has always known. Holst can be a tad shy though so as much as he tries to go wander off, he always comes running back. It is this shyness that is perhaps why he also does not seem to get as much attention as either of his sisters.
Future Plot Ideas?: Unfortunately, I don't have any specific ideas but this is entirely due to being an undead avatar [other avatars are food] who mostly keeps purewalkers [other soquili are food] as pets while thinking they're very adorable and cuddly to the extent that just allowing your soquili to eat other people's soquili is perfectly normal and acceptable... so I think my number one plot idea is that I will promise on my most delicious blood supply that he will never ever met any of my walkers because they will only try to eat him.

Username: Amirynth
Basket's Name: Octavius Amachi
Meaning?: A play on Octave The octave is an interval of an eighth, as for example from the note C to C or D to D. The first note can have a sharp or flat providing the last note has the corresponding sharp or flat (i. e. C sharp to C sharp).
Personality: Octavius will be quiet as a youngster and maybe, at first, his parents could be worried why he does not speak often, if at all. At some point there will be an event that helps him 'find his voice' though I'm not sure what it'll be yet. Even after he starts talking, I can see him being the quiet one of the trio though it is obvious he is protective of his sisters like an older brother should be.
Teen: Regal and calm, much like the classical symphonies, Octavius likes to observe the small thing before jumping in. This can be with conversations as well as events. He isn't a wall-flower by any means but he usually prefers to let someone else take the lead until he has 'learned the steps' so to speak.
Between dancing or singing, Octavius prefers dancing but his style is more the graceful, slow waltz than a faster-paced jig. He does, however, love to listen to other performers and enjoys listening to the variety of musics that are out there. Octavius feels that everyone as their own song to dance too and it is through observations that one learns about others and how they enjoy their life.
Future Plot Ideas?: If the Amachi Clan is willing, WillowGlen does a fostering program where their foals join another herd to learn new skills or other important lessons for a few months. It would be interesting to have Octavius join WillowGlen for a short while, especially considering they are also very musical due to Imogen and her children. Kai'kede needs to learn about how other herds are ran and so would be the one to switch places with Octavius if this should happen. It would be a nice way for both herds to 'interconnect' which then could bring together other RP ideas as the Vitterfolk are known for their story events and it could be fun to trade stories for songs.
He would then return back to his herd and be able to teach others the healing and music styles he learned from them. I can see him becoming a teacher of sorts as he grows up, enjoying the acquisition of knowledge in the different music styles that are probably found in the groups of the Kawani and then passing that on to the next generation.

Basket's Name: Pizzicato Amachi
Meaning?: ((the info was taken from here))
On bowed string instruments it is a method of playing by plucking the strings with the fingers, rather than using the bow. This produces a very different sound from bowing, short and percussive rather than sustained.
On a keyboard string instrument, such as the piano, pizzicato may be employed (although rarely seen) as one of the variety of techniques involving direct manipulation of the strings known collectively as "string piano".
On the guitar, it is a muted form of plucking, which bears an audible resemblance to pizzicato on a bowed string instrument with its relatively shorter sustain. For details of this technique, see palm mute.
Note; Part of his name, since it's 'plucking' of an instrument and Pizzicato would both pluck plants + flowers as well as grass + other natural music makers.
Personality:
Serious/blunt - The easiest to see in Pizzicato is that he's a very serious stallion. His expressions are normally really solemn. This however doesn't mean that he doesn't enjoy something or is emotionless; he just prefers to keep it inside and show his feelings in another way. If he needs to say something, he'll respond with a very short response. (Please refer to the 'Emotions through Plants' in the plots =D)
Patient - Since he understands that sometimes people won't understand his ways, Pizzicato is very willing to answer others' questions. His answers will be short, but if they ask more, he would continue to answer. Basically, he doesn't say much, but if others ask, he'll continue to explain and/or teach them.
Music - Unlike some of his family who chose to dance and/or sing, Pizzicato has the ears to find natural music as well as make it. Whether it be the wind blowing the leaves making soft tones or crickets chirping in the night, Pizzicato can always find those sounds. When it comes to making music of his own, most of it is through being friends with animals and insects as well as blowing softly into the grass.
Future Plot Ideas?:
Meeting the rest of the family - Self explanatory. It seems like the family is large enough to try and meet them all. Well, minus the ones in the Flock because I don't think Pizzicato would like to be with females like that...
Learning about the Forest - As a colt, Pizzicato would learn from his father's side of the family. He'd want to know the ins and outs of the forest as well as how he could best serve the forest. Since his paternal grandmother is the guardian, Pizzicato would either learn from her or his father if he wanted him to.
Guide to traveling - Although he can maneuver the forest with the help of his father's side of the family, I think he'd want to be able to learn how to travel outside of the forest as well. Not sure who would fulfill this, but it would be nice if he could learn how to read the stars and travel between the forest and the rest of the Amachi clan.
Herbology - As a part of the next plot, it would be nice for Pizzicato to learn about all kinds of plants and flowers. Part of it is for him to know about what he can eat/not eat or use to take care of people, but also learn the underlying meaning behind the plants (ie. like how some flowers have certain meanings).
Emotions through Plants - Although as a foal he won't know much about all the different kinds of plants and flowers, as an adult he'll express his feelings with them, both as gifts and as trading. When he feels like he's made a mistake with someone, he'll apologize bluntly and then proceed to make them something, normally a laurel, filled with different kinds of flowers that would show his feelings, whether it be happiness, regret, sorrow, etc.
A part of the Amachis - A part of him when he's in between a colt and young adult, he'd wonder where he should be a part of. Part of him will love the forest and part of him will love being a part of the Amachi clan. I don't know where this would lead, but I would think he'd spend part of the year in the forest and part of the year with the Clan (which is why he'd need to know how to travel and not get lost ;3)

Basket's Name: Cavatino Gavotte Amachi
Meaning?: Masculinised form of Cavatina- A short simple melody perfomed by a soloist that is part of a larger piece and Gavotte- a 17th century dance written in quadruple time, always beginning on the third beat of the measure.
Personality: nomadic
Though he adores his family and feels nothing but the deepest sense of attachment and loyalty to them, he feels restless and a need to wander. He is curious about anything and everything. Very often, he gets into trouble without even trying.
From the edge of the world, to the heart of the desert, he longs to see it all. But no matter how far he roams, his heart will always be with his family.
Quirks:
-He is ridiculously near-sighted, almost to the point of blindness. He can see color, and the vague outline of things. He also has minimal depth perception.
-He is graceful, but hates to dance. Has a pleasant voice but will only sing for his family.
-Fairly petite, he is often thought of as weak. This assumption does not bother him in the slightest. The only people whose opinion matters to him is those in his immediate family.
Future Plot Ideas?:
One of each- He will (eventually) meet at least one of each breed of soquili
Wind and waves- he will begin his journey of exploration that will lead him to his family in the desert at the ocean.
Murk and shadows- Exploring the swamps
To touch the sky- and the mountains
Wind and sand- to the desert
Family- sibling rp loved. How does he get along with his sisters? Is there any rivalry there?
With his parents. And meeting various members of the extended family.
Someone to be my eyes- Because his eyesight is so bad, he needs to find someone or something to help get around.

Basket's Name: Capriccio
Meaning?: "A quick, improvisational, spirited piece of music."
"A capriccio (Italian: "following one's fancy") is a tempo marking indicating a free and capricious approach to the tempo (and possibly the style) of the piece."
Personality: Capriccio walks to the beat of his own drum, but that's not to say he doesn't care for others or that he's introverted. In fact, he's quite the extrovert. He's a hearty fellow who enjoys making friends and enjoys making music with others. He likes to take old sounds and make them new, he likes to add his own tune to a song. He's highly improvisational, meaning if he thinks something sounds good, he'll add it to his singing or to any music others might be playing. He's always making noises, always singing, always joining in on others' songs. He doesn't judge on appearances or even personality, just raw talent. His hobbies include: beat-boxing, singing, rapping, running really fast/racing, and playing any type of instrument he can get his hooves on.
Future Plot Ideas?:
›› Pitch Perfect:
I would love for him to meet others who enjoy making music and sounds. Although we wouldn't be able to hear it through our writings, it could be fun to get a musical group together and I think it would be interesting to explore how singing and dancing feel to our characters. I'd love to include his sisters or other family members in this. Perhaps they could have singing and dancing competitions. I could see him being a part of this, or hosting such an event. (We could let dice determine who's "singing" wins. :3) I really want to explore his sounds and feelings while performing.
››Vocal Malfunction:
Perhaps he will give a go at death metal...LOL JK. But whatever he does, he will have a period of time in which his vocal chords are too stressed for him to make the sounds that he wants to. He won't be able to sing, he might not even be able to hum. This will make him very sad, and he may become a little introverted at this time. But with the help of his family and some friends, he can teach himself the sounds again. This period will give him some time to think of the sounds of the world and how to incorporate that into his music and his own life.
››Finding the Root:
While Capriccio needs music in his life, he also had a burning desire to know his family and his heritage. He wants to know how Amachi life works, and he wants to know how the forest works as well. Inspiration can be found anywhere, and that is what he will be searching for in his family and culture.
››I Don't Wanna Dance:
Capriccio is horrible at dancing. Granted, he can bob his head and tap a hoof to keep up with his beats and his singing, but moving his feet too much is a big no-no for him. I'd like him to be put in a situation where dancing is important. He will need a patient and eager teacher to help him on his way to greatness, but he might not be too happy about it. Once he learns he will be very excited, but at first it will be a struggle.
››Butterflies:
Although he's always singing and making noise, he does get nervous. Even Adele, the great singer that she is, gets super nervous before performing. I'd like for him to perform for a big crowd and get nervous. He will need someone to teach him how to deal with the nerves and the feelings, but eventually he will realize that the audience's feedback is his source of joy and life.
››We Will Rock You:
Capriccio will be upset by skinwalkers bullying his brother and his mate. So, ignorant as he is, he will go after one. He might get it into his dreamy head that he can cure them by singing to them, but of course this is a silly thing to think. He won't get super hurt, as he's a speedy being and can evade things easily. (Why do you think he can beat-box and rap so fast?) He'll discover just how scary skinwalkers are and probably won't mess with them again, until he has to save someone from one. But who? Dundundun...
››The Duet:
Perhaps our beat-boxing hero will find a partner in crime some day. He will rescue her (or him) from a skin walker. After making the usual amount of noise he does, he'll find out that she (or he) can sing as well, and they will fall in love. Perhaps he'll meet a nice Vanaras girl, or perhaps he'll find someone in the desert. It's far in the future so we'll just have to wait and see. :3

Meaning?: Tutti- Passage for the entire ensemble or orchestra without a soloist. I also chose it because I thought the phrase tutti fruity would be absolutely perfect for the colors of this family whee . Forte I chose because it is a family name, and because I could say Tutti F. and have it infer tutty fruity hehehehehe.
Personality: Tutti is a peacemaker. But when that doesn't work, he is willing to fight. Though he is afraid to fight, he knows he will have to sometime. He is the type to close his eyes when having to fight someone, and still somehow hit right on target.

Meaning?:
For Kokyū
The kokyū is a traditional Japanese string instrument}, the only one played with a bow. Although it was introduced to Japan from China along with the shamisen, its material, shape, and sound are unique to Japan.
For Harmony
1. Agreement in feeling or opinion; accord: live in harmony.
2. A pleasing combination of elements in a whole: color harmony; the order and harmony of the universe. See Synonyms at proportion.
3. Music
a. The study of the structure, progression, and relation of chords.
b. Simultaneous combination of notes in a chord.
c. The structure of a work or passage as considered from the point of view of its chordal characteristics and relationships.
d. A combination of sounds considered pleasing to the ear.
4. A collation of parallel passages, especially from the Gospels, with a commentary demonstrating their consonance and explaining their discrepancies.
Personality: Kokyū's Harmony is a bit of a Romancer. This is because of his love for all types of music. He believes that in order to truly love someone you need to fully understand the song and music within that someone's heart. Music isn't just humming, sounds, and words. It is body movement, the souls within the eyes, the love within a heart that makes it sing. He understands this well and hopes that if he is ever lucky enough to find love that his lover will understand that.
His personality is based on this song within the heart. His own heart song is what controls his personality and mood with that day. Seeing he is young now and has yet to grow and change. His Heart song is open to changing and growing with him but being a bit of a Musical Romancer is something that will never change. Those he meets along the way of his growth and changing. He will most likely try to make them understand the songs that they hold in their heart. And understand that there is nothing more important and dear then understanding these songs and the bonds they can form between not only lovers and family but also friends and foes.
Future Plot Ideas?:

Basket's Name: A'Capella
Meaning?: "In the manner of the chapel" literally, but primarily music performed by vocals alone with no instrumental accompaniment.
Personality: A'Capella wishes to make a name for himself, in a way. The only son he already feels like he stands out in the current brood, but that's not what he wants. He wants to do something worth being known for. A purpose all his own worth effort and recognition, but not necessarily glory. Zealous would be a good word to sum him up perhaps. There's a grand adventure in life and he's just waiting for his part.
Future Plot Ideas?: As a foal I would see him exploring with the Clan, meeting as many members as he could in an attempt to learn everything he thinks is important. Which, to him, is just about everything he can wrap his head around. Maybe he thinks his goal in life revolves around traveling and learning the secrets of the desert, or maybe it revolves around knowing exactly how many paths there are between the desert and forest. Or how many bells there are within the family and Amachi Clan and if he can learn to tell them apart to know who is who just by listening to the bells. It would be worth a try to find out!
As a stallion I am unsure where the plots would take him lol, I suppose it would all depend on how he developed with that personality and what he decided his life's goal truly is by then.

Username: icy serenade
Basket's Name: Courante Waltz Amachi
Meaning?: Courante - A piece of music written in triple time. Also an old French dance.
Waltz - A dance written in triple time, where the accent falls on the first beat of each measure.
Personality: Upbeat, intrigued and curious, and oh so easily distracted. He has a want to learn dance after hearing of his brother being such an amazing dancer, but even though the want is there, there is always something that catches his attention and pulls him from his lessons.... and everything else he's supposed to be doing at that. The thing that calls to him almost as much as the want to dance? The want to explore! Adventure! There are so many things he wants to do and see! When he isn't being distracted by everything that catches his eyes, you would see that he's a sweet, caring, helpful fellow who would do anything he could if the chance was there. One might even say he was brave with the chances he's willing to take while in pursuit of something that he wants to do or see, but then again one might think that stupid of him as well~
Future Plot Ideas?: I have a couple little ideas for at least foal-hood for now~
No More Lessons, Pleeeeeeeease! - Though he wants to be great dancer and learn musical ways along with other things in his family that catch his attention, he also wants to go out and play.. a lot. He is always trying to sneak off, the want to adventure and explore being a call he can't seem to resist! Finding himself a teacher that does their best to help him concentrate is the goal... whether or not he actually does manage to keep himself focused.. Well that's another thing.
Ooooh! What's that?! - One of the first things that comes to mind is him managing to wonder off, getting himself lost and separated from his family due to something catching his attention... be it another Soq, a little critter, or even a floating by fuzzy! [However his family reacts when they come find him/he makes his way back could affect future plot ideas]

Meaning?:
"Legato" - Word to indicate that the movement or entire composition is to be played smoothly.
"Rococo" - A musical style characterized as excessive, ornamental, and trivial.
"Amachi" - Family name
Personality:
♩ Musical ♩
Legato enjoys singing and he isn't afraid to show it. He can be seen frequently humming a tune to himself. He'll usually take long walks just to think of new lyrics to add to his already expansive collection. If he's not singing or humming, it's safe to assume that he's upset.
♪ Possessive ♪
Legato never quite grew out of the 'Mine' phase. He is extremely protective of his belongings and family and friends. He will frequently become huffy if his things are touched, and he hates it if his friends are spending time with others and not him. He tends to throw tantrums if he doesn't get his way.
♫ Flamboyant ♫
Legato is over the top in everything he does. If he's singing, he's also dancing and making a show over it. He is overly expressive with any interaction he has and throws his entire body into conversations. This may add to the appeal of his musical talents, but is a bit too much to some in everyday conversation.
Future Plot Ideas?:
Mine! Possessive Legato strikes when another foal takes something that belongs to him. I'm thinking that the other foal will successfully take it and he won't get it back until he crosses paths with them again as adults (I think that it would make a cute future romantic plot)
Sing With Me If the sisters are vocally gifted, I'm sure Legato would be up for having some background singers singing partners ;D. Mainly family interaction.
Not My Sisters, Buddy! emotion_donotwant I'd love to see Legato interacting with a potential suitor of either sister. Legato's sisters would be under his 'mine' category in his mind, so he would see the suitor as a challenge. It would make for some funny possessive Legato and family interaction methinks.
And there would of course be more plots to come c:
