Roll a Five: The Fire Field: A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are hot to the touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FIRE type attacks. This field reduces ICE and WATER type attacks by 25 HP.

Alexa walked in moments after Lenore and paused to see the pokemon she sent out. It must be a newer addition to her opponents team. "Hey! Looks like you got another one!" She called out trying to be friendly and not really expecting a reply. From all the battles she's had with Lenore she has learned that her opponent typically doesn't get involved and is silent.
Once at her own trainer box she sent out her own pokemon. Farvardin appeared in a flash of red howling her delight. The fire field was the perfect playground for her and plus... her opponent.... looked so bloody. That must mean it's been in lots of battles! She got super excited thinking about that.

Lenore thought back to what Erika had told her. At a time like this, I'm supposed to respond back, right? She gave a small smile to her opponent. "Yeah, he's new. I see that your houndour evolved." She didn't really understand it, but if that's what she was supposed to do...
Urabrask was silent as he jabbed a leg into the pillar he stood on, sending dirt at the houndoom.

Alexa was a little surprised to have a reply back. "Yeah. Farvardin has been trying her best to battle as much as she can.... so she evolved pretty quickly." She replied back with a smile. She turned to look at the battle seeing the Nincada make the first move.
Farvardin was hit with the dirt and some went into her eyes. She shook her head and then began to paw it trying to clear them. Once she had she looked at her opponent. A grin appeared on her maw and her mouth opened wide. Soon powerful flames shot out moving to engulf Urabrask.

Farvardin again was pelted with the sand. It was scalding hot, something that shouldn't bother her too much, but she was caught in the behind. She yelped in pain and jumped up. She moved to another spot and sent more flames at her opponent.

Farvardin managed to dodge the sand this time by leaping to another pillar. She took a quick second to inhale the hot air and sort of ground herself. If she got too excited and carried away she clearly became careless. She turned towards Urabrask with a determined, focused look in her eyes. Her mouth opened wide as she shot more flames to engulf him.

((I looked it up with the type chart on Serebii... I guess since he is also part bug that it counts. And no ground isn't resistant to fire, just electric))

More flames hit Urabrask, but he endured it. Blood pooled in front of him before rocketing itself at the houndoom with blinding speed.

Farvardin was unable to avoid the next attack. Fortunately she was slightly resistant to dark type attacks so it didn't do much damage. She staggered back and growled faintly. She fired off some more flames hoping to do major damage.

Urabrask was bathed in flame again, and a torrent of blood burst from the nincada and rushed at Farvardin.

Farvardin had just leaped to another pillar. She turned to face Urabrask and was surprised to see the torrent of blood bursting from the nincada and the final attack. She tried her best to stay up but she was exhausted already. She fell down onto the pillar and fainted.
Alexa recalled Farvardin and waved to Lenore. This was a first for her: having a battle end in a tie. "Good battle!" She called out before leaving to get Farvardin healed.
