A day at the shooting range was always incredibly boring to the tall man, currently whistling a small tune as he strode around the training field firing his pistol at the many dummies that he'd set up. Chest, head, arteries, nethers. Easy when things didn't move.
"This is boring." He pouted to no one, shooting the last of the dummies. Regal had insisted on it, and the hunter had stupidly agreed to indulge the Gryphon.

Wash gave a short wave from where he'd been watching. Practicing with dummies was a bit of a bore for the moon hunter, whose weapon was really more suited for live targets. He'd been more than happy to settle in and watch another hunter work.

"Oh!" Lex started, reverting the gun to its pen totem, turning around to find the source of the voice. He greeted the unfamiliar man with a grin and an extended hand. "Sorry, were you wanting to use the field? I'm pretty much done here." Wash could probably tell that. "The name's Lex, by the way. Life intermediate."

Wash took his hand, giving it a firm shake. "Wash, Wash Becker, Moon."
He withrew his hand again, shaking his head. "Yeah, I guess. Dummies ain't real good practice though, y'know?" He held his arm out and summoned his shield. "'Specially for me."
Cocking his head to the side, he added, "You wouldn't happen t'have time for a little one-on-one, eh?"

Noting the man's shield with a raised brow, Lex nodded. Fitting for a Moon, very fitting. Plus, that'd more than likely hurt anyone, or thing, that came near the man. "Sure, I've got a good bit of time." He smiled, summoning the pistol once again and stepping back a bit.
