As layed out by Gaia itself for all Registered Guilds.
Please bare in mind if you brake any of these you put this guild at risk of being deleted with out warning......... gonk crying
No Cybering:
Cybering, or other forms of sexual situations, are not allowed on Gaia as this is a
PG-13 site.
If you promote or encourage people to cyber either in the forums or
by PM then you run the risk of loosing your guild and receiving at least a warning.
It should also be noted that posting nude images or images that are particularly
vulgar or gory are also not allowed.
No Abusive Comments:
This includes abusive comments to other users, flaming, trolling, harassment and
stalking. You are allowed to swear on Gaia, but you are not allowed to insult other
users, or go into their guild without permission and start trouble.
If you are found doing this you will be punished.
No spam:
Spam can be many things, it can be simply an unwanted bump, intrusive
comment, causing the page to scroll sideways, excessively long "bumps for gold"
or gibberish; these are but a few examples. Either way, none of these are
welcome in the forum, if you wish to spam then please do so in the Chatterbox.
No hate posts/threads:
Hate posts/threads that are directed towards a Gaia user, race, ethnicity or sexual
orientation are not allowed on Gaia.
These hate posts/threads that are found will be removed and the owner punished.
However, you are allowed to create a hate guild that is directed to an object, such
as books, movies, or similar things.
No advertising:
This is mostly directed towards those that own a GGN, but it can be applied to
anyone that is advertising for a guild or other thread.
Advertising in the Guild forum is not allowed, you may not create a new thread with the intention of advertising.
If you wish to advertise to it within your own guild if it is allowed by the guild creator.
Please note that this also includes recruitment and "looking for a guild" threads,
those will receive warnings as well as be removed.

UP DATE OF GUILD
RULES FROM GAIA.
NO PG-13 VIOLATIONS
Posting images or links to porn, hentai or other images and sites that violate the PG=13 limit is not allowed. Nor is requesting, soliciting or cybering witin the guild. Any guild found with such inappropriate content will be removed, no exceptions.
No hate guilds
Hate, or anti guilds that are directed at a Gaia user, as well as guilds that are racist/defamatory are not allowed. However if there was a "We hate Harry Potter" or Anti-Coke guild, those are allowed as they are directed at a real life idea, or object.
About spam
Some guilds are created for the sole reason to spam, so if you want to post spam then do it there. The captain and crew retain the right to delete any spam within their guild.
About bumping
Bumping serves no purpose in the guild forum. Bumping will not bring your guild to the top of the forum; it will not make your guild more visible. If you wish to bump threads within a specific GGN then it would have to be under the rules of that GGN.
When to report something to a mod
The only reason you should report a guild to a mod is when:
-The guild violates the TOS and the captain and crew do nothing about it or are the instigators
-The captain and crew are abusing their powers, but you have to provide proof of this.
-The guild has some other major violation of the TOS within it (ie tips to hack or botting)
-If a guild has copied another's layout, posts or role playing ideas. This is plagarism and its not allowed. Please link to the original and the copied guild.
The GGN and the Guild forum.
Advertising (either by recruitment threads or outposts) is not allowed in the Guild Forum. Any threads that have to do about the GGN will be deleted and the user warned. Advertising for the GGN is only allowed in user's sigs or in the Chatterbox.
Selling of guilds should be done within the Exchange, questing for them should be done within the Charity/Quest subforum.
The GGN guilds and guilds within the Guild forum are free to forum alliences or rivalries between themselves, but have to keep all posting to the GGN threads or the guild's own thread.
Additional Notes.
The guild donation system and account logging is a feature that is reserved for future use. You can donate at any time, and if you have an entry fee that gold will also go into the guild account. At this time THERE IS NO WAY TO ACCESS GUILD GOLD. Do not ask moderators to use this gold. This will be used in the future for guild only features. If you donate gold to your guild, you will not have access to it at this time!
Many guilds will want to move their guild threads into the GGN. At this time, this is not possible. The guild system is completely independent of the original phpbb forums. Because of this, it is extremely innefficient to move threads. In addition, the benefits of the guild system will be such that maintaining your old thread would defeat the purpose of having all the cool new features. You now have an entire forum to use! Including this feature is a strong consideration for the future. Please hold off on requesting this feature at this time. We understand completely that there is a high demand.
Problems
Make sure that you have thoroughly read the FAQ; most questions can be answered from there. If you are still having problems then PM an online moderator. If you are a captain, then please post your questions in the Captain Guild, don't PM Kokoryta.
I can't find my guild (guild deactivated)!
All the guilds that a user is a member of are listed under the My Guilds banner, so a user cannot loose the link. If a guild is not listed then you have either not been accepted as a member, you have been banned (check your PMs) or it has been deactivated.
A guild can be deactivated for many reasons, one of them being that it is under investigation by the moderators because of a TOS infraction. Another reason could be that it violated the TOS and a moderator has permanently closed it.
How do I become a member of a guild?
You become a member of a guild by clicking on the request to join button, please see the FAQ section for more details.
It says I can't post in this guild!
If the guild is a private guild then only members are allowed to post, non-members can view the topics but not post in them.
Someone is breaking the rules!
If someone if breaking the rules then it should be up to the Captain and crew to take care of it. If they don't, please report the problem to a moderator making sure that you include a link to the thread where you saw them breaking the rules, as well please include the name and a brief explanation of what they were doing.
How to Report a Guild
This is the right way to report a guild that won't get you a warning for abusing the report system.
When to NOT Report a Guild
When a user is harassing you:
If a user is harassing you then you first have to take it to the guild's captain or crew to have them deal with the user. If that doesn't work, OR if it is the captain or crew that is harassing you, then use the report abuse/harassment forum: http://www.gaiaonline.com/gaia/report.php?r=7
Swearing
Reporting people swearing is not allowed, Gaia has a very liberal view of swearing and reporting people swearing will get you a warning for abusing the report system. if a user is swearing at you (ie calling you a b***h) then you have to take it up with the captain, please see above.
Banning you for no reason or not banning when requested
As this is the Captain's guild, the captain is allowed to create his own rules (subject that they do not violate the TOS). As such, the captain is able to invite or ban users as he chooses. He is also under obligation to ban users who wish to quit (because there is no leave guild option). If the captain/crew does not ban a member who asks (please wait for his responce at least a full week) then he is subject to receiving a warning. Please either make a post in the captain's guiild if you have access to it, or PM a GGN mod (Kokoryta, Doji Kurohito) with a link to the guild and thread where you have asked to be banned.
When to use the Report a Guild button:
If the guild violates the TOS
If a guild is allowing people to post porn, cyber or is linking to non PG-13 material, AND the captain/crew has not removed it (within 2 days), then you may report the guild.
Hate guilds
A hate guild that is directed at Gaian users is not allowed and will be terminated. Yes, this includes users who are known trolls.
Plagiarized guilds
If a guild has copied another guild in detail (ie copied homepage or stickies) then the copying guild will be removed. Please not that this does not count for general ideas, users who report an Inuyasha guild because there is already another Inuyasha guild will be issued a warning for abusing the report system.
Guilds which profited from a glitch
If a guild have profited from a glitch, either by getting the guild for free or is a user has donated glitch gold to the Guild Fund then the proffiting guild will most likely be closed by the admins. We are not certain if the captain will recover the guild, but it is safe to assume that they won't.
