After the critter invite had been sent out, Steffani gathered up what she needed and headed out to the maul. She got there quick enough, deciding to eat there before they went shopping instead of snagging something from the creepateria on campus. The Patchwork ghoul wandered over to a table after getting something to eat and sat down to wait for her friends, munching on some curly fries and checking her critter.
It was addicting.
Shut up.
Once that was updated, she checked in with her Creator, glancing around for either of the ghouls she'd be meeting up with. Junko'd be an easy spot, but she hadn't met Serafina in public yet. She hoped she didn't come too late and miss them…
It'd be fine.
… She'd text them in a bit if they didn't show soon.

There was something Junko liked to pride herself on and that was that she was punctual. She was never late, sometimes she even arrived early. The only thing that delayed her arrival was ordering food and then looking for some sign of the two ghouls she was meeting. Serafina's Critter icon was thankfully a picture of her face and Steff was someone she already knew. Oh! There she was! Junko beamed as she approached the ghoul with her tray, a long tendril of hair reaching out to tap Steff on the shoulder. "Hi~. May I join you, Miss?"

Serafina herself was a rather punctual ghoul, preferring to get to her classes early, arrive to meetings on time, and slip into parties with a fashionably late flair. However, her definition of on time could occasionally mean that she was at the location on time, and so, it was no surprise that Serafina first went to get herself some food before going to meet the other ghouls. After all, she said she hadn't eaten yet that day, and they were at the Food Court. It would be silly not to get herself some higher quality food than the Creepateria while she was here...
Admittedly, Serafina had never actually met either of the other ghouls in person, though she was certain that she had likely spotted them at some point with all of her creeple-watching. Junko, at least, seemed like she would be hard to miss with all of that hair she had... Had she spotted any ghouls with that much hair in the past? Not frequently, that was for certain. She hadn't met many patchwork either. Most of the undead creeple she ran into were some form of zombie.
She supposed that fit the "horde" thing.
Once she received her food, Serafina pulled at the surgical mask, pondering how exactly she planned on eating while not taking the thing off... Perhaps she didn't totally think that one through. Well. She could always slip the food she got underneath the surgical mask in little chunks. It was finger food, anyway, so it would be easy enough to do that with.
She pushed a fry under the surgical mask as she looked around, attempting to catch the two ghouls she only knew by Critter picture. Taking out her phone to check their faces--and for any new Critter messages--she let her eyes flick from the skellyphone to the Food Court until she found the faces she was looking for. Well, that wasn't too hard.
Pleased with the quick discovery, Serafina headed over in that direction, pulling her fingers out from under the surgical mask and offering a wave when she got close.
"Hey ghouls!"

Steff jerked at the tapping, looking over her shoulder, and lit up. There was one! "By all means." She grinned, moving her chair some so she could face Junko. "Want a fry?" She held one out, popping another in her mouth with her free hand.
"They're really good," She said after swallowing, sheepish. She hadn't touched the rest of it yet, she'd been too busy nomming on the fries. In the midst of her offering, she heard another call and looked up, returning the wave with a smile.
"Hey!"
She looked at Junko, grinning. "At least we're all punctual?" And here she'd been worried. Pfft. She looked back to Serafina when the ghoul was close enough, smiling. "I'm Steff." Obviously. "It's nice to meet you in person, Serafina."

Junko smiled and sat down beside Steff, a tendril of hair accepting the fry before the ghoul could even say yes or no. The fry was popped into The Mistress' mouth, the mouth giving a content burp after. "...I was going to say yes.." She blinked. "Too slow." The ghoul broke apart a set of chopsticks and stirred the large noodle bowl the size of her head she had ordered from a nearby restaurant in the court, looking up when she heard someone else call. Oh! "Hiii~!" Junko called out cheerfully, smiling even more. "And I'm Junko! Were you worried we would be late?" The second question was directed at Steff, a look of surprise on her face.

Junko and Steffani. She nodded at each of them respectively, shooting a bit of a grin when Steff named her correctly. She supposed she was rather obvious, but then, if the other two knew each other in person already, she would be even more obvious as the odd-one out.
Hopefully it was not the surgical mask that identified her.
Self-conscious for a moment and shoving another fry under the mask at the other, she decided to take a seat at the table that Steff had sat herself down at. They would probably get moving soon enough, but it looked like they were both snacking on similar foods at the moment. Besides, the maul was a big place! Maybe they should decide where to go first, before they got themselves going...
At Steff's remark, she laughed. "I try to be on time to most things," she paused, before continuing with a twinkle in her eyes, "unless it's better to be fashionably late."
She took a few more fries, carefully shoving them under her surgical mask. Would they ask her why she didn't just take it off? It would probably be easier for her and everyone else if she did, right? Then they could see her lips, not that she really had any lips so much as she had a giant gash-- maybe if she wanted to keep their attention off what she was doing, Serafina should talk about something. She looked over her shoulder, eyes darting around for the first thing that stuck out to her.
Hm...
There were a lot of stores in the area. "Did you ghouls have any ideas of where you wanted to head first?"

Steff jerked when the Mistress helped herself to the fry, blinking. Had that always been there? =.=... Anyway, she smiled a bit and munched on a fry, looking to Serafina when she sat down.
"No," She said to Junko, sheepish. "I thought I left later than I did. Master called for his daily check-in, and I was sketching and lost track of time." Mostly it had been the talk that had set her back, but apparently not as late as she thought she'd been! She grinned at Serafina's comment about fashionably late, nodding in agreement. Sometimes it was just better. Especially if it kept boils on their edge.
Steff was quiet for the moment, happy to munch on her fries, when Serafina asked about where to start. "Well, the only place I have to go is, um." She tapped her finger against the table, trying to call the name to the top of her head. "... The craft place." She said, finally, sheepish. "Whatever it's called." She'd remember when they got there, it'd be fine.
"Anywhere you two want to go first? I'm totally cool with doing that later." She grinned, popping another fry in her mouth.

A daily check-in? How interesting! "He calls you every day?" Did Christof's master contact him every day? The Mistress stole more of her food and Junko sighed, rolling her eyes and waiting for Her to be finished. She finished all right. Finished all the food. Thanks, Mistress. Thanks. "I don't usually go to the store here, I go to one in town." Junko suggested in regards to the craft store. What had Steff said she needed? Thread? Junko could even offer her some if she needed to. "I need shoes and a few accessories for my dress. I'm making the actual dress, not everything else.." Junko was not a cobbler or a jewelcrafter. ...Ohhh! Maybe she could see a Horseman about that! "What about you two?"

Craft stores? The kinds of knick-knacks that could be found in those places could be fascinating sometimes, and could be interesting things to take back and offer as trade to other clinging-to-the-past ghosts. Of course, there were also the things in craft stores that could be found for a bargain, or pieces that could be put together to make a rather bold outfit...
Of course, then Junko said that she didn't go to the craft store here, she went to one in the town. Were the ones in town better? They were probably less expensive, at the least. It seemed like the maul had a way of charging more seeds than necessary for almost everything.
Still was fun though... and it found searching out a bargain even better!
What did she need for her dress? That was a good question. Probably a lot of things. She did have her hat already, a small black top hat with bright red streaks, and she had an idea for what to do with her dress though she didn't exactly have the dress yet...
"I need some shoes myself, though I have some accessories that will probably work with my idea. Of course, I don't have the dress for my idea." Serafina laughed. "Which is probably a problem. Oh, I also wanted to see if the new version of Dance Dance Dedolution was out, while we were here, but that would be a quick thing to check."

"Mmhm." Steffani said to Junko's question, nodding shortly. She listened to the two ghouls talking, perking a bit at the idea of a craft shop in town. Hmmm, she'd have to check it out later... "I could look at some accessories, too. I made my dress and have the hat, but I haven't thought about shoes." She had thought of them, of course, but she hadn't picked a pair yet.
Shoes could be a quick fix, the dress was her primary concern.
"So shoes and accessories first, then the Maim Shop? If anyone has Dance Dance Dedolution, they would, right?" She asked, taking a sip of her drink and grinning at them. "The craft store should be a quick run." And if they didn't have what she wanted, she could just stop in the one in town before she went home.

So they all needed shoes. That was easy! Did Serafina need ideas for her dress then? Well that was also something hopefully easy to fix. Maybe they could look at current dress trends in the stores and see if anything inspired Serafina! "We can do all of that, yeah! I'm hoping to find some nice colored accessories since my dress is going to be black and white. Maybe a nice red to pop out, you know? We'll see~."Welp! Now that that was settled! "Shall we~? Since we all need shoes why don't we stop there first, and then we can look for your game." Since accessories would take the longest they could do that whenever something caught their eye. It sounded like a plan to Junko.

That sounded like a good plan of action to Serafina, who nodded with a twinkle in her eye. That was perfect! She would love to get a look at some good looking shoes. It had been a while since she had gone shoe shopping, and even if she didn't find something for her prom dress, maybe she would find something else pretty to add to her wardrobe... A small grin quirked underneath her surgical mask, making the mask twitch just a tad.
"I like that idea... I think the shoe stores are thatta' way, yes?" Serafina lifted a finger to point in the direction she recalled the shoes being in from the food court--she hadn't been to the maul in a while, but she had been there often enough to know that much.
She was a fashionable adolescent ghoul after all.
If they agreed, Serafina was happily off in that direction.
