Biography: "If you would have asked me what I was doing with my life before Virtua, I would've found the nearest computer and just started tapping away in an endless aria of computer language. I really didn't do much with my life besides that. To be honest, all I can remember is typing and a crap load of Monster surrounding me. Most people come here because it's cool. I came because I needed to escape."
Jayce Wilder was born into your average well-off family. Being the Heir to Wilder Technologies, he was expected to be a genius at using such technologies and appropriately managing a business. He excelled at both, to the point where he got addicted to staring into a bright screen and managing a small section of the company from the shadows. His parents begun to get concerned when he hadn't come out of his room in almost 4 days, and that's when they discovered what he was trying to do with Virtual Reality. Deciding to put their full support behind their son, they funded his little project. The average coder takes a few months or so to come out with a finished product with some glitches; it took Jayce exactly one month to perfect the coding and a few weeks after that to fully digitize people and give them special abilities to fit the virtual world he was seeking. The Virtua Project, as it was dubbed, was scheduled to launch next year as Jayce added new areas, and worked together with the company to fully realize it's potential. By the time it was ready for mass use, Jayce was back up to a normal body weight, and much more sociable; but more importantly, he was aware of what someone could do to his creation should he leave up to someone else to manage it. So he hopped into a pod, made his own persona, and decided to escape the burdens and responsibilities of having to deal with the company and became Virtua High's first Admin, and he has given the right to 5 other people that he learned to trust dearly over time, and they are the only ones who know who he really is.
Personality: Jayce may seem friendly to just about everybody, he rarely truly trusts anyone, preferring to keep his identity and true self a secret. He has very odd habits including saying certain phrases in and ending them with file extensions. Due to his too good programming, he is a little to cat-like for his own good, and will stop what he is doing if someone rubs his head and will fight if someone rubs his belly.
