This is a private RP between Atami Uchiha and CapnYoshii What happens when your ship comes crashing down?
How do you feel when you realize you're all alone and nobody is coming to save you?
What will you do to survive?Two teens are found, stranded on an island after their cruise ship is struck by lightning and sinks. They seem to be the only two there. And it also seems that nobody is coming to save them. What will they do to survive? This is the trial they have to face to ensure their safety and lives.

Rules

2. No god-modding or auto-hits.
3. No fighting about what happens.
4. As this is a literate guild, posts are to consist of two paragraphs with five
or more sentences. One huge paragraph is fine as long as it meets
standards.
5. Only the two participating can post.
6. Romance is fine, but this should be kept PG-15.

Josh always imagined cruise ships to be more relaxing, but ever since he boarded this stupid ship, he couldn't shake his sea sickness. He had riden on his fathers' fishing boat with no problem, and he often went to the beach with his friends, and never had an issue with sea sickness. Maybe it had something to do with the food? He choked down what tasted like vomit in his mouth and slapped his palm over his mouth. He squeezed his eyes shut and willed his stomach to cooperate, and for a second he thought it might be working. And then he bolted for the toilet. God, he was glad his friends weren't here to see this, he'd be enduring their endless jokes for the rest of his life. Hey, remember that time you spent your entire vacation puking everywhere? Vividly, thanks.
Just as he thought he was getting over his sickness, meaning he didn't have anything left in his stomach to throw up, a horrible screech tore his ears off, metaphorically of course, followed by screaming and alarms and was that an explosion? Suddenly there was running and pushing and confusion and water. So much water. Before he even realized what was going on, he was out on the deck in what he could only describe as a huge storm. He hadn't even known bad weather had rolled in. The deck took on an awkward angle, and he fought to keep his footing, using whatever was in reach to hold onto, until the entire ship turned completely on its' side. He couldn't believe what was happening, he didn't have time to. He didn't even remember grabbing the railing in his hand, or when he was kicked off his feet by the sheer angle of the boat, and where the hell did his jacket go? His jaw clenched as he struggled to hold onto the railing as the ship sunk, screams drowned out by the loud crashing waves around him. He was going to die, and he was probably going to die the worst possible way ever; drowning.
His arms shook, his legs shook, his whole damn body shook, as he struggled to hold on. He always told himself he should go to the gym more often. Who was he kidding, he didn't even know where the gym was. His eyes squeezed shut as he felt his fingers slowly start to slip. "Damn it," he mumbled. "damn it, damn it, damn it!" And just like that, his grip failed and he was plunged into the blackness of the sea.

 Selene Leonora ❧ What's done can't be undone. Selene found herself tossed out of bed in a sudden motion. She was tossed across the room and looked around in a fit of fear. Not understanding what was happening, she knew that she needed to get to the top deck as soon as possible. The boat tilted and she was struggling to climb the stairs and keep her balance. Just as she got to the top, a surge of cold water struck her. Water started to poor in and the young girl struggled to make it to the top. As she came out to the deck, the boat was nearly all the way tipped over and she felt herself sliding into the water. Digging her hands into a rod on the boat, she stared down in fear as she watched many people get tossed into the water. When she heard the screams of terror and saw some drowning, she turned her head away in a panic. Her fingers started slipping and the girl was terrified for her life. Holding on with all her might, she made a scream of terror as her hands slipped from the rod and she hit the water with a loud smack. The first thing that happened was she started to tread water. There was s struggle as she attempted to get away from the ship. The currents were sucking her down with the ship and she knew it would be imminent death if that happened. The next thing she did was grab onto a floating piece of debris. It was a metal chunk that seemed singed. Perhaps a fire had been somewhere and ripped a chunk off of the boat. The young girl choked up some water and tried to get her body out of it. All she could see was a black abyss below her. There were cries calling out for help, but she dared not look. The last thoughts in her mind before she passed out were if she'd ever see her family again or not. The next things she saw was black. There was no sound or feeling, only darkness. ❧ Death is a fearful thing.

"I wonder what people think about when their unconscious. Do they know their unconscious? Or do they just think they're asleep? Is there a difference? What the ******** am I talking about? What was I talking about? I don't remember." Slowly, his vision faded back into darkness, as if he were drowning in a see of black. "The sea!" His eyes popped open and he threw up, spewing sea water all over the place. A look of confusion and disgust slapped across his face as he looked around, still dry heaving. Slowly, his stomach settled, just as he realized that he was on a beach somewhere. Suddenly aware, again, that he was covered in thrown up sea water, he crawled over to the ocean and let the salty water rinse him off while simultaneously try to drown him. It nearly succeeded. Slowly standing up, he quickly realized that his entire body hurt. It was like he did a belly flop off of a seven story building into the ocean last night. Oh, right. He groaned and walked towards the beach to find some shade and to let the realization of possibly being stranded sink in.

Selene Leonora ❧ What's done can't be undone. When Selene woke up, there was the feeling of waves rolling against her feet. She found herself still on the chunk of metal, except now it had dug itself deep into the sand. there were little particles of it on her face and she felt a roughness from it. Brushing it off, the girl opened her eyes, only to have them sting from how bright it was. She covered her eyes and looked around a bit. It seems she had drifted to an island and the ship was nowhere to be seen. There were some parts from the ship littering the ground. The girl slowly sat up and washed herself off in the water. Her dress was torn and dirty. She had a small cut on her leg from where it had bumped into the metal board. She was glad the blood had not attracted sharks. While Selene was looking around, she noticed a boy in the distance. Her eyes grew wide when he had hopes of someone else being here with her. It made her feel less lonely and not as afraid anymore. Though, Selene found herself shy and she scrambled to stand up and go hide in the brush. She got closer to the area that the boy was near and watched him from behind a tree. He looked almost as bad as she did, but she was glad he was not hurt. It would be a shame to have two injuries on this island. The girl backed up a bit and a twig snapped. She hoped her had not heard her and tucked herself behind the tree and out of his view. The girl was quite embarrassed to have been peeping on him and not have gone to introduce herself straight away. ❧ Death is a fearful thing.

His head snapped around as he heard a twig snap, his eyes scanning the thick brush. The realization that he needed at least some type of shelter hit him, obviously he wasn't the only living thing on the beach. But he was so tired, and he had no idea how to actually build a shelter. Maybe he could find a cave? He walked back out to the shore and turned to look down the coast, which, unfortunately, looked pretty flat. No caves. Well, he thought, he could go on without a shelter for a little bit if he had a fire, right? And so on he walked, picking up anything that looked like it would burn easily.
After an hour or two, he returned to a opening he had found while walking around in circles looking for wood. It was still on the shore, but far inland enough that he didn't have to worry about the tide; hopefully. Dumping a few twigs into a pile he had already started, he then began to dig a small pit to build his fire in, the idea being that it would help block an early fire from the wind. "And now, to actually make it," he said to himself. "Uhh," he sighed. Of course he had heard of the whole rubbing two sticks together thing, but every movie he had seen people try that, it never actually worked. "Maybe if I find some glass," he told himself, looking around. And off he went to walk around in circles again.

Selene Leonora ❧ What's done can't be undone. Following the boy in secret, Selene walked around through the trees and brush as the boy was looking for sticks and a place he could put them at. After the fire pit and sticks were set down and established, it seemed that the young boy was walking away from his little campsite. When he did this, she came out from behind the trees and walked over to observe what he was working on and seeing if he was friendly or not. Taking a vine, she strung it around a curved stick and then twisted the string around the tip of a straight stick. She set the bow there just in case the boy could not find anything else to start a fire. Then she started winding it on a base so that there was a hole in it to set the tinder by. When she was done with that, she walked into the woods in search of some type of food. As Selene came back to the boy's little campsite, she had a coconut and two mangoes in her hands. The coconut water would have to do for now. If they needed actual water, they may have to find it somewhere else for now. She sat down at the pile of sticks, eating a mango and waiting for the boy to come back and find her sitting there in the comfort of the small site. Wondering if he would turn her away or keep her, Selene laid down on a log the was behind her and shut her eyes for a little bit. ❧ Death is a fearful thing.
