Demetrius stared blankly at the bushes the fox-dragon had disappeared into. The news Valkyrie had delivered was not what he had been expecting when she first appeared. His grandmother had asked the fox-dragon to look for a partner for him, a mare that would birth strong offspring and she had found someone she believed to fit the criteria. Soft snickering to his left pulled him out of his daze, he turned his head to regard his familiar. Lumina was stretched out on the ground laughing into her front paws. "What do you make of this?"Lumina looked up at the question, once she regained her composer she rolled her eyes. "Sounds like something your grandmother would do. At least you can be sure the mare is pretty." Demetrius made an inquiring sound.The lynx laughed, "Dragons are only drawn to pretty things."He couldn't help but grin at her words. He looked up at the moon, it was full in the sky tonight. "It will take all night to reach the meeting place, we need to get going."
The place that Valkyrie had arranged for the meeting was were three rivers met and made a small lake. It was a beautiful place but most importantly it was neutral ground.

 Cassitaya might have thought the idea the little fox-dragon spoke to her about a few hours ago was crazy. But it was promising. She didn't have a problem finding stallions on her own. Most of the time they were fun to tease and play with. She went along with this idea and started her trek to the destination spot. Her head ducked under low branches of trees to keep from getting snags in her hair. Nothing was going to mess it up. It was part of her beauty and charm.
New to the lands she had to closely follow the directions given to find her way. She wasn't sure if he was already there waiting. The sound of water trickling made her pace quicken to near it. The area was beautiful and serene. A few other Soq dotted the area drinking from the water or chatting. She slipped past them to where the water met to form the lake where she would wait quietly, sipping from the water herself.

The sun was just beginning to raise as Demetrius reached the meeting spot. He looked around at all the slumbering soquili and let out a soft sigh. Just once he'd like to have a peaceful nights rest instead of the few hours he was able to get each night. Shaking the gloomy thoughts out of his head he headed to the lake to get a drink, nodding to the early raisers as he past by them. Reaching the bank he peered around for danger before lowering his head. He was raised in an area were if you didn't stay on your guard you wouldn't survive long and some lessons where hard to let go. After drinking his fill her turned to Lumina. "See anyone matching Valkyrie's description of the mare?"Lumina glanced up from where she was watching a fish swim in the lake. "Not yet but its early still." The two decided that Demetrius would look around while Lumina waited at the lake in case the mare showed up there. "Be safe," Dimi said as he walked away.Lumina laid down on the bank and continued to watch the fish. "I'm not the one you should be worrying about."As Demetrius walked around he failed to notice a sleeping Cerynei and preceded to trip over her. Somehow he stayed on his feet and dazed turned to look at what he tripped over. He blinked is disbelief, he was pretty sure he just found the mare he was looking for. Not wanting to wake her he laid down near her. Before he knew it he had dozed off.

Cassi had stayed up through half the night wandering the area fully in circles. Soq came and went, some stayed but she hadn't spotted anyone who looked like the description of this stallion. When she had had enough of flirting and teasing other males she settled down in an area she hoped would make her easy to find from any direction he came from. Before she fully fell asleep she hoped she didn't believe that mini soq for nothing.
At some point in the midst of a dream that carried on with her wandering, she felt something touch one of her front hooves. She shifted to tuck them beneath her but she slept on. Every now and then her tail twitched.
When she woke, her leg felt sore. Before pulling herself up she happened to glance over and notice a blue stallion sleeping close nearby and a pink feline. She jumped a little in place. He hadn't been there when she fell asleep, she was sure of it. Staring at him she began to realize this was the one she had waited on. Getting up she walked over to his sleeping form and gently nudged against his shoulder with her muzzle. "Goood mooorning stranger" she sang in a soft playful tone close to his ear.
