.●↻>>It was odd, the feeling she had thinking about everything. It didn't seem that long ago, but two months had passed since the mew incident and Kein's little depressant stage; however, a lot more had happened in that time though. She had traveled around much of sinnoh, catching that pokemon she wanted to have for quick or urgent transportation needs; a ralts she named Azeal. It wasn't a very long fight, or a fight at all really, having her haunter know mean look at the time through a TM she had bought; it couldn't flee. It knew maybe two moves at the time, but it was insistent on teleporting out the whole time. It was only a baby, so she simply put it to sleep with hypnosis and captured it then instead of harming the already frightened pokemon. Ever since then, she hasn't been able to get it latched off of her side nor in its pokeball. If it isn't hugging at her neck, it is sleeping in the messenger bag she carries; curled up in a blanket Xozie had originally packed to put in her sleeping bag for the nights they would have to camp out. She planned to get him his own little blanket the next chance she had.
A banette had showed up one day as well, it was one of their last days in Sinnoh. She only had three pokemon at the time, but one day she decided to check her PC mailbox and happened upon an anonymous letter with simply "PC" as its contents. She was confused by it at first, but then realized it was probably talking about her pokemon storage in the PC and there it was, an unfamiliar pokemon sitting in her storage box with a marking of a heart and a star. It's name was already given to it and it showed up in the storage as Falsphatine-- definitely not a name of her choice. It's a cozy member of the group now, after some rocky spots with Kein and Mareah-- actually, he seems to rather get along with Kein and is surprisingly kid friendly; treats Azeal like a baby brother and human children like a playing companion. It was an odd character for its kind's reputation, besides his color, it was certainly well taken care of before she received it and well taught. It normally doesn't travel in its ball either since it likes to keep an eye on the little ralts that's in their care. Kein and Mareah, never really seemed to complain about their pokeballs-- so it came to a surprise when these two came about.
Her gaze drifted to the boy that walked not far behind, Shad. It was strange, still, having him tagging along with her and it shocked her when he said he would come with her to the Hoenn region to help find her mother. Xozie didn't even ask either, she really didn't want to drag him into her own personal fuss, but when she tried waving him off to go part for his own journey she had disturbed, he insisted he had things to do in Hoenn as well and this gave him an excuse to go. She was happy to have his company though, it gave her someone to talk to and her pokemon some friends. She couldn't help but chuckle at Kein's relationship with Ambipom-- they were constantly picking on each other even now, but they were good friends if they could take each others crap like they did. They also seemed to have much in common, despite being near opposites, but having Shad capturing a new lot himself, Ambipom probably needed that usual "pep-talk" from Kein. Keeps the energy flowing in the group.
The girl with the wintry glimmer to her hair, trotted ahead of the group with a bounce to her step. They came upon a bridge that would get them back on the solid path to Fortree city-- though, Xozie wasn't a fan."I uh, I'm thinking Lilycove was nice. Maybe we can revisit it. Momma couldn't possibly be in Fortree, nope, no way." Her voice was shaky, about the equivalent of the bridge, as she peered over the edge of the canyon at the water below. Phate had rushed to her side, keeping his cautious gaze on the ralts that lay flat against her back, clung tightly to her neck. Seeming entranced by the canyons bottom, the girl jumped at the eerie creak of the bridge. Xozie slouched, pouting at her luck."There must be another way around."
Every move I make............................... and the feeling of doubt............... It's erased.................................... I'll never feel alone again............................................... with you by my side................................ and we have gone through good and bad.................................................................. You've been there from the start.
Shad awkwadly watched the little Banette bully and shove it's trainer across the bridge. Shad was relieved that it got her on the bridge, but felt awkward due to the way it had happened. ((I wonder if Ambi could be the one encouraging the Banette to do this...)) Little did he know Ambi was making things much much worse.
"Hey!! How many bottles of pop was I on, Crispers?" Ambi yapped with a smile. He didnt seem phased by the mischeif and instead decided to add to it in his own way. "Fine!! I'll just start back at 100!!"
Shad had originally planned on waiting for Xozie to cross before he got on, since she was shking the bridge. But then again, 'aint nobody had time for that.'

.●↻>>Horrified. That was one word to describe her expression, an instant appearance to his view on the situation. Wondering, for a moment, just how bad the drop into the water would really be-- then remembering not only the drop itself but the rocks that could pose a problem. He was right though, the only way across was the bridge. Of course, she wasn't dumb, there was always little Azeal that could take them across but she liked to avoid using him where she could; it wasn't that far, right?
Phate looked up to his new trainer, then to the bridge. They had been walking at a smooth pace, why had a bridge stopped them? He then scanned the others for answers. What is the hold-up?His voice was raspy, echoed within his own throat; however, to the trainers it would be his creepy untranslated garble. Settling his crimson gaze on the other trainer, Phate got his answer. Afraid of bridges? A glance was made to the bridge, then shot a disappointed glare at his trainer. She is afraid of bridges? A gurgle of disgust bubbled from the back of his throat before clapping his hands together with a gesture to the ralts to jump.We are taking care of this issue now. This was ridiculous. He had never seen someone afraid of an essential tool of travel and this was supposed to be the oh-so-great daughter of his previous trainer. It was no wonder he was sworn into not telling the young girl where her mother was; he wouldn't want such an embarrassment finding him either.
Catching the baby pokemon, he set it down; keeping a hold on its hand."Come on, come on now, lets get moving. One foot at a time."He backed into the girl's leg, bumping the back of her knee making it briefly buckle."Left!"Having her stumble a bit on that leg, he pushed the other the same way."Right!" Making a step closer, Xozie had found the tips of her sandals touching the bridge."That's it child, just another 400+ steps until we get there. Lets go, we have better things to do than stare at a pit of water."
Its actions shocked her and before it could push her again, she turned to it-- receiving its shoulder into both knees instead."Hrmph. You are being so pushy!" Its lip quirked a lip to her outburst and stepped back, shooing her to get her to walk across the bridge herself. "Then be my guest." In her moment of disbelief and hisitation, the banette pushed the side of her leg to help her turn herself around to face the bridge. Getting her a few steps in, Phate to the rest of the bridge himself with the ralts clinging to him piggy-back."You're getting it. Walk." He bounded the last lengths of the bridge, then bounced around to face the group held up on the bridge."They are right behind you, there is no way you could fall. See, you are already half way there." The mischievous ghost-type grinned wide, humored by his cowardly trainer; truly sad. Be nice. She's scared. The feeling pokemon softly spoke, sympathetic towards its trainer that struggled across. It would help if she wouldn't keep looking down though.

I'll never feel alone again............................................... with you by my side................................ and we have gone through good and bad.................................................................. Shad was taught that showing too much empathy would result in his downfall. But seeing Xozie put a smile on his face and made him forget all about it. "Need a hand?" Shad said politely opening his palms. Even if he was ready to burst into laughter, he figured he could make up for it by helping.
"Muffle Muffle!!" The ambipom cried turning to his trainer with puppy dog eyes from a distance.
((Aw, it likes him... Must be telling it thank you for all the support he offered.)) Shad thought with a smile while waiting for Xozie to lead the way. ((That Ambi, always happy... Always inspiring people.))

.●↻>>Xozie took deep, uneven, breaths as she took each step across the bridge, praying to arceus that the next plank wasn't the weak one. About every couple of planks would pop with their age, not snapping or bowing, but making a loud enough noise to make her take two more steps back than she had taken forward. Shad was following behind though, she soon realized, and tapping the heel of her shoe against the front of his sent her nearly the rest of the way across the bridge. Phate clapped as his trainer stepped off of the bridge and sluggishly moved passed him to the nearest patch of grass she could collapse in."Such sweet, sweet grass." Her face grazed across the fine tendrils lovingly and with such care as if the possibility of scaring it off was present. The little ralts brought its sleeve-like arm up to its mouth in a soft, nearly silent, chuckle at its trainer's silliness; it was cute to him. Phate did not see it the same way though, rolling his eyes in disgust."There that wasn't so bad, now was it?"Pushing past his distaste for his trainer's actions, he stepped over to his trainer and patted her back lightly, awkwardly trying to comfort her; knowing he was a bit harsh.
As the ghost-type tended to the shaken girl, the others also were coming off the bridge; Ambipom obnoxiously screeching his usual nonsense that irritated the little one greatly. Not even bothering to turn his head, Azeal clung to the Banette's neck with one arm and placed another slightly in his mouth to suck on, but it wasn't long before it disappeared. Using its teleportation ability, the young ralts moved from the Banette's neck to the Ambipom's, to which he clung onto tighter. Noisy.Azeal spoke softly into the pokemon's ear as it slid its arms around its head to cover the Ambipom's mouth with both of his hands.

.●↻>>Itty bitty Azeal, giggled lightly, with its eerie child's laughter that was echoed in the back of its throat-- hollowed by its irritation. The Ambipom struggled for its voice from behind the smaller pokemon's hands, but to no avail, muffled and absorbed into the elements that made up the ralts' skin. This was amusing to him, as well as Phate; whom approached in a calm, casual, and collected manner; his permanent grin wide. "Noisy."It repeated, peering out at the Banette through its hair with its large pink eyes.Phate nodded.Yes, he is rather noisy isn't he.He stifled his laughter with his hand.We have to play nice though, what would the human's think if they saw you picking on poor Ambi? The doll-like pokemon stepped close and held out his arms for the baby pokemon, silently calling for it with a warm welcoming grin.Though, from the looks of it, it wouldn't seem like they much care. Ambi should be a big boy now-- I would hope. The ralts teleported into its companion's arms, hugging its neck tightly with a nudge of its cheek to his. Then again...A glance was carried along the Ambipom, analyzing him, before the banette made his way back over to his trainer that was being helped back onto her feet.
Accepting the man's kind efforts, she was again on her feet from the odd tragedy that had befell her, shaken yet but capable of mobility."Thanks." She said softly with a smile, fighting off her urge to shove him over for the funny look he had on his face-- looking on the verge of cracking up. Her cheeks puffed up red, turning as her eyes welled with water. How embarrassing! He wants to laugh, I know he does! She sulked in the darkest reaches of her mind as she waved them to follow, keeping ahead; which wasn't unusual, but it now had a purpose, a purpose to hide away her humiliation."We should find the path to fortree past this tall grass."She choked out, keeping intense focus on her pokegear, making certain they were heading in the right direction.

"So exactly what does your mother do for a living?" Shad asked chuckling a little from the previous incident. "I once had a layover in Fortree but never really got to know the town." He said crossing his arms as Ambi gently tugged Shads shirt.
(( Maybe lunch will cheer me up..)) thought the sulking monkey.
"You bored buddy? Wanna chat with Whimsicott?" Shad said as Ambi froze in terror.
