Sharmila quietly grazed, gazing up at the night sky.

Sunset Curacao - :: struts in a crooked line ::

Thamin
Sharmila had been lost in her own thoughts and wonderment as she gazed at the sky. It was only when she dipped her head to take another bite that she noticed the brightly colored winged one strutting nearby. She flicked an ear and tilted her head, curiously watching the male.

tefla
Sunset Curacao: He'd yet to notice that the area around him was occupied. The stallion glanced to his right to catch a glimpse of Sodium before weaving a little. The strength of the claws on the stallion gripped the dirt below him to steady himself. His eyes darted around before noticing greenery nearby. Was this a new type of food bush? Sunset let his wings carry him nearer to the strange green thing. His eyes were glazed over as he attempted to nibble at the green thing.

Thamin
Sharmila's ears dropped as the male drew closer, noticing his hooves (or lack there of) and his apparent lack of boundaries. He didn't seem aggressive, but he didnt seem all there either. She darted away out of reach, eyes never leaving the winged male.

tefla
Sunset Curacao: What was this? Was this some new sort of moving greenery? Sunset's gaze locked onto the green thing again before a sigh wracked his heavy frame. Moving edible things meant work. Sunset's own wings drooped a little at this realization. The greenish thing stayed just out of his reach. "Sodium, mah pal. Make the green thing dere stop moving." The stallion still had the idea that the green thing was some sort of new delicacy to eat.

Thamin
Sharmila continued to sidestep and back away from the male, who seemed to grow upset or disappointed that she moved. Perhaps he was from a different land? She herd the words that the male had spoken, she assumed to his companion, but lad little idea as to what he was saying. At this moment she wished she knew how to communicate adequately with more than just her mother. She did understand the words 'stop' and 'moving' though. Despite what every sense of hers told her she decided to pause. Perhaps she should see if he meant harm rather than assuming after all - and if he did she was sure she could flee or stab him without issue.

tefla
Sunset Curacao had found that Sodium had yet to leave the perch he'd made for himself on his back. Why was the parrot ignoring his order? The angeni-gryph blinked bleary eyes and realized that the green thing had indeed stopped moving. It had been an long few minutes before the stallion moved just a little closer. His vision swam a little as he took in the green thing before gently nosing at what he'd come to assume was a odd tree. A warm puff of air shot out towards the green 'plant' before Sunset inhaled deeply. His head canted to the left and then the right before repeating the action. The green thing didn't smell like food. What mystery was this? "What mannah of plant be yah? You are ah strange type of tree are yah not?"

Thamin
Shar tensed up the closer the winged one came to her; but as the male nosed her and sniffed her, tilting his head as if inspecting her in a confused manner she began to assume that he simply had no clue as to what she was. She listened to his words once more as he seemed to be asking a question of her, and though she didnt understand every word it became apparent that he was asking if she was a 'plant' or 'strange' 'tree'. "No?" Sharmila managed to quietly stammer out as if it itself was a question. She paused, curious about his questioning about plants. "Hungry?" She asked.

tefla
Sunset Curacao backpedaled a little as the "tree" talked back to him. Trees weren't known to talk which meant that this wasn't food. The stallion winced perceptively. What sort of idiot mistake had he made? "Not food. Are yah sure? You look like food ... all green."

The stallion craned his neck to peer at Sodium. It seemed as if the parrot was making a cawing sound that the stallion interpreted as laughter. He nipped at the parrot and found only open air. Sodium's wings cuffed his head before the bird flew off. Left alone with a tree that wasn't a tree the stallion stumbled briefly before lowering his head to scan the ground around his feet. "Good chance ah'm hunger'in."

Thamin
Shar looked to her pelt, then back to the male. So Green was the color she was. She scrunched her brow, pondering this new knowledge she possessed, and nodding as she concluded that she could be mistaken for food if one only went by color. "No, not food..." Sharmila reassured the male as her gaze shifted to his companion. For a moment she was lost as to what was going on, but once she realized that the companion was basically making fun of the male she let out a soft growl. She didnt see why the companion would laugh, and saw no reason what so ever for the physical hit - she did not like it. She snorted as it flew away, turning her attention to the male that seemed, in her eyes, to be searching once more. She stepped forward and nosed him. "Hungry?" She asked once again. "I know where fruit is."

tefla
Sunset Curacao now had nothing to really focus his attention on except the talking "not-tree". Sodium had left him with a bit of a ringing in his ears from the blow from his wings at his departure. At the words from the green thing in front of him the stallion eased his gaze from searching for the elusive cup at his feet. It wasn't there and he assumed that Sodium had once again hidden the glass. The stallion's sigh was rather loud as he returned his gaze to the stranger in front of him. He had just made the connection that the green thing was not food. It still was a shame. At the gentle touch from the mare, Sunset froze before letting his gaze focus for the first time. An all green mare with markings stood before him. Was it his addled mind playing tricks on him? "Ahm indeed a hunger'in. What be this mannah of fruit?"

Thamin
For a moment Shar looked the male over; for the life of her she could not figure out what the reason was that was causing the male to seem so confused. Was he partially blind? Was he hurt? Was he lost? She supposed her curiosities would have to remain unanswered, since there was probably nothing that she could do about it anyways. Besides, it may just be how he is, and if so he should just be accepted as such. She shrugged, not really knowing what sort of fruit it was - she had never been told the names after all, she just knew that they were fruit. "It's just fruit." She said with a nod before turning and hopping of a pace or two. "You follow?"
