User with this ability either is or can transform into an wraith, incorporeal evil spirits from the netherworld - distinct from demons - that drain the life energy of mortals in order to sustain their existence and may able to steal souls as well. Typically they appear as shadowy forms wrapped in robes or cloaks, or simply vague shadows, but this isn't always the case.
Biography:
I was nothing special when I was born twenty years ago. Nothing I did got any notice. Nothing I said had any impact on anything until three years ago. I was just a wraith..collecting souls for my rulers without question. I never had a thought of making myself anything greater until I met a rouge wraith. A man who decided to make a life for himself, to have a soul. He was one of the few to actually do so. He convinced me that it was possible and I didn't take his life as I was instructed. My leaders were disappointing but excused it and I was still used. I did however began to think about what the man said...about having a life outside of the underworld.
I was quite for some time until I finally made my own mind up. I refused to strike down a young girl who had seen on the the wraith at work. I helped her escape though at the end of it I was captured and imprisoned. I escaped three years after and fought my way out of the underworld. My freedom only lasted a short while as I was captured again..but I noticed the ranks had dwindled. More and more wraiths were leaving. To reduce to the risk of this happening again I was sold as a servant to the mortal realm. I eventually ended up at Trinity. I might have been free to go but...by choice I decided to stay. I have no idea why though.
Personality:
Hermin doesn't have much in the way of a personality. He often seems to just stare out at nothing. He can smile though this is more unconscious and he won't even realize it. He's rather protective of his master and very loyal until told to do something that goes against something he has sworn never to do. He's very smart, just not outwardly..mostly because he doesn't really talk. He's a hard worker and a good friend when he warms up. He can become very fierce and frightening when angered. He actually changes to his masters wishes however.
Abilities/Powers:
User regains health and vitality while the victim declines in their vigor, if the target has a superpower, the user can absorb them well. Extended drain may result in extended or permanent effects, or even death.
Much like the ability, Life-Force Manipulation, the user can manipulate energy in various ways. However, this ability deals with the energy of their spiritual essence instead of the entire universe. Aura is the energy that is formed from one's achievement of spiritual power through extreme mental focus and strong emotions. Users of this power are able to increase their natural abilities, attract and repel the aura of others, sense the aura, and project it. Types of aura are located in different parts of the physical body such as the forehead, spine, throat, heart, and stomach. The power of the aura also changes with one's mood.
This power allows its users to teleport anything to any place and any time they desire, including physical locations such as: in a locked room, in space, in heaven, or in hell, as well as metaphysical places such as: inside a dream, inside a heart, inside thoughts, or even inside people. This power also allows its users to teleport concepts into the physical world, like memories and thoughts, and bring anything into reality.
Users are able to attack in full rage while retaining control and are able to attack with the relentless strength of a madman, while gaining the speed and precision of a surgeon.
