She preferred the company of her Five-En companions over anyone else. Now, she has become more open with communicating with others. Often, Kokoro will host Gotei-wide tea gatherings at her home or Captain breakfasts in her garden. She still keeps her Five-En armada the closest to her, but now she actually has befriended the other twelve Captains. Kokoro has a strong sense of loyalty. Keeping her word is something she can guarantee to anyone. Kokoro, even in her Kenpachi days, has never broken a promise she made. xx ♨CHIMAMIRE no HONE♨ _________________________________________ .. "The Silver-Haired Scythe Demon."
Zanpakutō Name: 血まみれの骨 Chimamire no Hone [Bloody Bones] Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:Bony Samurai Chimamire no Hone's spirit is a decomposed samurai made up of several stray body parts. There is any flesh on his bones and what is left is limited. He sports the traditional Japanese samurai war attire with a flowing red mane that makes a train behind him. Often, he will appear from the ground coming together from various areas. He has no face and does not speak. He breathes flames from his nostrils and has an ash smell to him. Zanpakutō Sealed Form White Nodachi
◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎ Shikai Status: Shikai Activation Statement: "Let ye's blade become crimson..." Shikai Appearance: Blood Scythe In Shikai form, Chimamire no Hone becomes a black scythe that flows with condensed flames running through it's body. The base of Chimamire no Hone is quite long and slender. When Kokoro places the scythe on it's base, it stands several feet above her head. The blade appears to be shattered into several fragments which the center orb (an enormous amount of stored flames) which has a strong gravitational pull. The main blade is longer than the rest, and a blade chain dangles from the base allowing Kokoro to willingly throw the scythe at will. She usually fights more with her Shikai. She doesn't prefer to use Bankai in battle. Battlefield Changes: The ground around Kokoro's scythe will slowly crumble away due to her enormous amount of spiritual pressure. Shikai Abilities: Chimamire no Hone is a flame/melee type blade, it's abilities reflect such attributes. 1. 黒い炎 - Kuroi Honoo Literally meaning "Black Flame", this ability is the easiest of Kokoro's Shikai line up. By channeling a concentrated amount of reaitsu into the blade, Kokoro can expel a black flame by swinging her scythe. The flame is intended to burn the opponent, and can be combined easily with Kokoro's fighting style. 2. 迅速スライス - Jinsoku Suraisu Meaning "swift slice", Kokoro must announce the command and accurately hit her targeted with the tip of her scythe. This ability uses the condensed flames to give off a powerful invisible destructive force that will slice virtually anything. Jinsoku Suraisu is another common ability used by Kokoro in battle. This ability can be thwarted by some sort of shield or by merely avoiding the tip of Kokoro's scythe. 3. 炎のダンス Honoo no Dansu This ability is dependent on flames that have gathered on the battlefield upon the use of Kuroi Honoo. If Kokoro has produced enough flames, she can command those flames to gather and attack her opponent. 4. 地獄の刃 - Jigoku no Ha Meaning "hell blade", this ability is the most powerful of all four Shikai abilities. Kokoro announces the command and on the blade a inferno flame gathers and radiates an intense heat to those around. When stricken with the point of Kokoro's scythe, the target will explode into a ball of flames. This last for about 4-5 posts. Kokoro must rest and recharge before reactvating this ability. Status: Achieve
◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎ Bankai Name: 鎌ない限り Kama nai Lagiri ["Oni Scythe"] Bankai Appearance: The BackBone Kama nai Kagiri is composed of completely bones. The metallic base is now a vertebrate, the head a skull, and the blade a finely sharpened blade that is much longer than it's Shikai version. The vertebrate can be dissembled and can be tossed by a thin bone chain. This form reflects the spirit of Kokoro's blade. In Bankai, Kama nai Kagiri is quite heavy and towers over Kokoro. She is able to swing the blade with ease. On Kokoro's left shoulder (which she holds her scythe with) becomes clad with a crimson samurai armor. This armor serves as a protection from the heat of Kama nai Kagiri, as it burns away at Kokoro the longer she uses her Bankai. Battlefield Changes: The battlefield becomes filled with stone samurai statues positioned in various dying poses. Around them are various broken swords that are planted in the ground. These stone statues are generated from the stored flames that were inside her Shikai's orb. As the battle continues and the exhausted Kokoro becomes, these starues will begin to crumble and turn to piles of dust. Zanpakutō Bankai Abilities: [[These abilities are based upon fire elemental attributes.]]
1. 炎蛇のストライ キ Honoo hebi no sutoraiki Literally meaning "strike of the flame snake", Kokoro will announce the command and seemingly nothing will happen, but in all actuality something indeed has happened. Kokoro's scythe's backbone can be dissembled now. When the pieces break apart, and electrical current will run between them. Kokoro pairs this ability with various grappling maneuvers and will the sharps to attack her opponent. She has been noted to send these shards across the battlefield at her opponent in a rush of electrical-charged force. These shards can be twined into various shapes as well. These shards act as small scythe baldes. Kokoro controls these shards by moving her scythe base in certain directions, this increases their speed. By willing them with her mind, the shards lose speed. This ability lasts for various posts due to it being a meele/electric type that.doesn't specifically release flames. If a shard is broken, Kokoro must regenerate it and that makes the ability/speed decrease slightly each time. 2. 真紅の火炎地獄 - Shinku no Kaen Jigoku Literally meaning "crimson flame inferno", this ability is almost uncontrollable. Kokoro gathers the flames of Kama nai Kagiri into the skull attached to the scythe. The flames will begin to pour in a vast amount and Kokoro will launch them at her opponent. The blast takes on a spiraling wave-like form and will burn anything it touches. The radius of the blast is 25ft wide and 45ft long. The catch: the flames can only be shot in one direction at a time. This ability can be used every four posts because of the large amounts of flames that must be collected. 3. 禁じられた火災 - Kinji Rareta Kasai Literally meaning "forbidden flame", this ability is the second strongest of all. Kokoro stabs the scythe into the ground and sends various small flames to the statues stationed around the battlefield. The stone samurais then come to life, taking blade in hand and will begin to attack Kokoro's foes. These statues are easy to destroy but can be regenerated as long as Kokoro can provide the spiritual energy. With each samurai destroyed, the ability grows weaker. **The final swing with these stones samurais is the ability to make them implode into flames in attempt to harm her enemy. They cannot be regenerated after this. 4. 少し炎 - Sukoshi Honoo Meaning "little flame", this the last and most powerful ability Kokoro has. This ability acts as a last stand. Kokoro will generate all of her spiritual energy into her scythe creating a massive flame that flows around her creating a giant flame pillar. The enemy is also surrounded by this pillar and Kokoro's scythe vanishes into flames becoming apart of the pillar. Kokoro will rely heavily on her hand-to-combat skills during this time. As she strikes, flames will flow with her hands as either offense or defense. If the chance arises, the final strike, called "最後の炎のダン ス - Saigo no honoo no dansu", will be made when Kokoro gathers all of the flames into her hands as reaitsu in the form of electricity. The blow to the enemy will ultimately kill or seriously injure them if contact is made. After Saigo no honoo no dansu is used, Bankai will end. Appearance Time Able to Held: Depends on the circumstance and abilities being used. Status: Proficient & somewhat unstable. Prefers to not use Bankai. Few have seen her use this.◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎◎

"It started with a whisper"" Chapter One: Human Life Theme: "All In Forms" ~ Bonobo
xxxxAs a human, Kokoro was named "Arashi Yomijishi", a local shrine maiden in Japan, more precisely modern day Tokyo. The young woman lived with the other virgin maidens atop the mountains training to be one with the gods. During her time, Kokoro became respected amongst the women as being kind and gentle in nature. Her beauty, trade marked by her sheer platinum blonde hair and emerald coloured eyes, was also hailed about the land. Kokoro aged gracefully but sadly drew ill after consuming a collection of bush berries from a mountain visitor. Developing a severe case of poisoning, Kokoro soon passed away after ten days. Kokoro soon awoke, disorientated, with a metal chain extended from her chest. The young woman, now a Plus, wondered about the mountains as a ghost seeking an answer as to why she was not united with the gods. Eventually, as she wondered the barren mountain tops, the chain began to erode. The chain was at its last link when Kokoro finally collapsed feeling her spirit growing weaker. Laying in snow, Kokoro saw a man, clad in black wielding a blade. He whispered to her "Rest easy, dear woman, you are safe now." and with that Konso was used and Kokoro's spirit was sent to a new life.
"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me."" Chapter Two: Crossing Over Theme: "Trapeze Swinger" Iron & Wine xxxxKokoro, now a new born soul, awoke on a soft bed of grass. She rose, taking in her new surroundings confused on how she even got here and, more importantly, who she was. She lay in a forest, a thick forest, lit by a shining sun above. She wore solely a white kimono and one straw sandle. "Hello?" she would call our standing from the grass feeling along the tall trees. She would walk for hours and hours seeing solely small deer and rabbits carrying about their natural ways. xxxxKokoro, after wandering aimlessly, came across a small village filled with a small colony of people. She timidly entered observing the people carry about their lives. A elderly woman would notice Kokoro, confused, and call her over to her small hut. The woman introduced herself as Tsuki, Tsuki Hinata, the elder of this village. Tsuki told Kokoro that she now was a "Soul" no longer a human residing in the living world. Kokoro questioned the woman continuously about what it means to be a soul and Tsuki answered every question. Kokoro would live under this woman's guidance for some time.
"Wonderful wildflower."" Chapter Three: Born Again Theme: "I Dreamed A Dream" ~ Les Miserables xxxxKokoro, now well into understanding the new world around her, grew accustomed to the village life. She worked with Tsuki making bread for the people. It was a bland yet reasonable life that Kokoro didn't complain for. Tsuki named the girl "Kokoro" meaning "heart" because Kokoro was a woman who cared deeply for those around. She'd always give specially made bread to the children and help with small duties around the community. She was quite the affectionate girl, but that doesn't always last. Snow approached the village and Kokoro now was fifty years old spiritually. She began to notice that something was off about herself. It was as if she could feel the very fibers shifting around her in the air. Strange sensations of pure energy would hit her, exhausting her daily and frightening the villagers. xxxxOne night, one harsh winter night, Kokoro slept uneasily in Tsuki's small hut. She dreamed she was in a fertile field with tall pillars of flame encircling everything around her. A voice whispered "Kokoro...become the flame...wield it...be it...breathe it..." in her ear. Kokoro, scared and horrified, was immobilized before the great flames eating the very world around her. "Take me...wield me...become what you were born to be Kokoro..." the voice called out. Kokoro, now filled with a strange curiosity, walked towards the pouring flames hand extended. The voice called on, "Take my hand..." as a bony hand reached from the inferno. Kokoro was overcome with a strange sensation...she took the hand. The flames wrapped themselves around her, becoming one with her, filling her with its power. "Call me forth Kokoro..." it would say softly. A blade, a blade clad in flames appeared in her slender hands. She knew then, this was her Zanpakuto. "Chimamre no Hone." xxxxKokoro awoke, sweat on her brow and a blade in her hand. She looks down at it but as she does she feels waves of pure heat smack her cheek. The hut was aflame around Kokoro. She jumps up, clinging the blade, "Tsuki! Lady Tsuki!" she called out running through the rooms looking for the old woman. Kokoro would discover the woman was dead, burned to death by the flames. Kokoro broke down in tears then, crumbling against the door frame. "Go Kokoro...go." a voice called out. Kokoro's head snapped up but no one was seen. It must be Chimamire no Hone...Kokoro picked herself up stumbling through the crumbling structure as frames began to fall behind her. "Go Kokoro." the blade whispered. Kokoro fell through the door but soon was hit by even more heat. The entire village was ablaze. The sound of screams echoed accompanied by the awful smell of burning wood and flesh. Kokoro stood unmoving just staring at the destruction. "This is power Kokoro...this is OUR power." the blade whispered.
"My aching soul."" Chapter Four: The Demon Theme: "Midnight City" ~ M83 xxxxKokoro left the village that fateful night blade in hand. She walked, rather stumbled, with a deep void look in her eyes, gripping the hilt of Chimamire no Hone. Again, Kokoro was alone in a thick forest aimlessly, but now with a dangerous weapon at her hands. She stopped, now deep inside the forest, and threw her head back letting a blood curtly scream from her lips. Her blame burst with flames and she began to set the trees ablaze screaming wildly. One can't describe what this woman felt that night in that forest. Something inside of Kokoro was born; a sadistic thirst to burn everything overtook her and that's what she did. xxxxKokoro left the forst, leaving it to burn to the ground along with the village. It was still snowing but one wouldn't know if they were anywhere in her radius. After wondering down a dirt road, pools of water dissolving as she stepped on the soft white blanket, Kokoro was approached by eight men. These men, obviously drunk, began to mock Kokoro. "Look boys, little princess has a sword!" "Put that down before you get hurt and come over to me." "Woah...she melting the snow! What the **** is going on!" Kokoro just looked at the drunks as they moved towards her from various angeles. One man when to grab her arm, but as he did so, his arm vanished into a ball of fire. His loud yell was immediately cut short by Kokoro's blade which drove through his throat. The flesh around the metal melting to the bone. She withdrew the flame, taking his head off simultaneously. She then looked at the seven, a vicious smile spreading across her face. Two men charged at her with katanas drawn. Just as they stepped in her direction they were consumed by a wall of flames. A strange howl escapes Kokoro's lips as she leaps at one of the remaining men splitting his body down the middle middle a single stroke. As the other four turned to run, Kokoro grabbed another by the hair yanking him back into her sword. She tossed him aside only to appear before the remaining three. They were dead before a single scream could escape their lips.
"Blood T H I R S T."" Chapter Five: Revolt Theme: "Summertime Sadness" ~ Lana Del Rey xxxxAfter killing those men, Kokoro continued to slaughter more and more people as she passed along her journey. No one was spared by Chimamire no Hone's flame, the more she killed, the greater her power became. A mere month after learning her blade's name, Kokoro achieved Shikai through deep focus on manipulating Chimamire no Hone's powers. A scythe, made of condensed flames and hot rocks, became feared among the soul villages. Rumors of a silver-haired demon wielding a fire breathing scythe began to spread. In total, thirty small villages and thousands tree acres burned as she passed through. Soon, the Shinigami caught wind of this woman's actions. The Shinigami, being that this was 1,000 years ago, were a loose faction only uniting to protect the balance decreed by the Soul King. Kokoro proved to be a threat due to the drastic imbalance of souls in Soul Society. Kenshi Hatake, a man rumoured to be creating a coalition of protectors with immense powers, himself set out to find this woman. xxxxNight had fallen, and Kokoro was sitting by a creek clad in her white kimono splashed with crimson blood wielding her giant scythe. Kenshi, sensing the woman's vast amounts of reaitsu, approached her cautiously. "Take one more step and you'll lose your head." she said softly looking in the clear brook, skimming her toes across it's surface. Kenshi cleared his throat, stepping into the moonlight. "I hear you're the Silver-Haired Scythe Demon, correct?" he asks softly. Kokoro doesn't answer, he continues, "I am Kenshi Hatake, and I've been seeking out powerful warriors to help me lead a force I call the Gotei." Kokoro turns her head to face him with a blank expression upon her face. "And?" she spits. Kenshi takes a step closer, "And if the rumors are true, then I would love to have you in my company to defend this world." he answers extending a hand out to her. Kokoro throws her head back in hysterical laughter, "I have no interest in aiding a weakling like you to protect this pathetic world of dead vermin. Get lost before I turn you to dust." she says as her dense reaitsu is released making Kenshi a tad uncomfortable. "How about this, if I defeat you miss, then you'll join me. If you defeat me, well, I'll die by your scythe." he proposes with a raised brow. Kokoro remained silent before agreeing to the offer. She doubted the man would even land a blow to her. xxxxAfter a long, grueling battle, Kenshi Hatake was able to best Kokoro in battle. She begged the man to kill her out of shame, but he instead only offered an extended hand symbolically representing starting a new life. Kokoro, after much disagreement, took up his offer and left with him to create the Gotei system. Kenshi had already recruited two others, Anya and T'Challa, powerful beings each legendary for different arts. The four of them eventually met Kushina Tsukada, a woman famous for her speed, and recruited her to their forces. This continued for another ten years, finally having fourteen powerful Souls to guard the Soul Society. They constructed the Seiretei, a place where the powerful beings could dwell to oversee the Spirit World. Kokoro, however, was not interested in the minimal tasks, instead seeking out the most powerful swordsman in the world of Souls to challenge. She, over a sum of five years, met five beings whom each were hailed as blade criminals. Taking the souls under her power, Kokoro formed the modern system of Combat Squadron named Division Eleven. This six member unit served as Seiretei's best swordsman in times of combat and were widely feared. Kokoro is the one who set the laws of Squad Eleven's core that still remain today. She gave herself the title of "Kenpachi" meaning "best blade in the era" that could only be gained by killing the holder of the title. No one that challenged her succeeded. Kenshi was the only being more skilled than she in Seiretei.
"War."" Chapter Six: Great Ash War Theme: "Anything Could Happen" ~ Ellie Goulding xxxxAfter serving under Kenshi for three hundred years, Kokoro and the other Guardians caught wind that Kushina Tsukada, a founding member, had attacked the Soul King and fled Soul Society. Kenshi told the Guardians to prepare for the worst. The worst was an understatement. xxxxThe Great Ash War, marked for it's destruction by the hands of Kushina and her time manipulating forces, began. Kokoro and her Five-En members were put on the front line to battle the Rogue Souls. Each member, including Kokoro herself, were defeated. Before being struck down, she was able to defeat the Rogue of Sacrifice, a man who once idolized her. As the battle began to turn towards the worse, Kenshi Hatake sacrificed himself to stop the transdimensional rip between the various worlds leaving she and the others to seal away Kushina. They, after a severe battle, were successful. They had defeated the enemy, but they had lost their leader, a man they owed everything to.
"Captain-Commander Tennyou"" Chapter Seven: A New Kokoro Theme: "Fix You" ~ Coldplay xxxxKokoro, along with the other Guardians, were brought before Central 46 and informed that Kokoro would be elected the new Gotei leader. At first, Kokoro declined believing she was unfit for the job, instead stating T'Challa or Katashi were better fitted, but the council wouldn't allow it stating Kenshi himself decreed it as his last wish. Feeling the weight of the man's wish, Kokoro accepted the new title as Commander Tennyou. She would go on to develope a different system of the Gotei making it a military rather than a small company. She also created the Shinigami Academy to train young souls for joining the Gotei. Because of this major contribution, the King offered Kokoro a spot among the Guard just as he did various of the other original members. Kokoro declined, preferring to remain in Seiretei to carry out the task Kenshi personally set in motion.
"Rise"" Chapter Eight: Excursion Theme: "Lamicken" ~ BRAIDS xxxxKokoro led the Soul Society into a golden period for 100 years. One day, the same day she calls a Captain's meeting, the Time Rogues made another appearance in Soul`Society. Kokoro announces a full out war when she discovers her long time ally of Squad Six has been killed by the Rogues. Kokoro lead her forces into Euthoria where she personally faced Kushina Tsukada and her own Nocella Kurenai. She was taken the near the brink of death before dealing the final blow to Kushina. Nocella was put into a coma. Her forces were able to defeat the Rogues and successfully seal the hourglass. The Second Ash War occurred just fifty years ago to this date. Kokoro now has become more stoic and less emotionally attached to her allies. She now has taken a personal stance on the judicial rulings of Seiretei finding Central 46 to be too corrupt and not understanding to the Gotei.
