xxPhysical appearance: Nicolette is rather small and petite. A bright expression is usually present on her childish face, and when thoughtful or trying to argue an important point it looks more like she's pouting. Due to her upbringing, she always maintains good posture while sitting or standing, and usually folds her hands in her lap or in front of her when giving someone or something her utmost attention. Her style of clothing is modest and in her favored colors.

xxRelationships: She respects her father, adores her mother, dotes on her younger brother, and loves all three of them unconditionally. Despite only being betrothed to Richard for three years, she's known of him since childhood (as with most noble children), and was saddened (and a little distressed) when he broke off their engagement.
xxxMore recently, her parents secretly betrothed her to Lucien ("Luke") fon Fabre, then sent Nicolette to Kodo for five months so she could meet and get to know him before the engagement announcement in December. Unfortunately, the engagement was called off shortly after being announced, though Nicolette holds no negative feelings whatsoever towards Luke or his new fiancee, Rosie.

xxHistory: Nicolette is the first born child of House Lachapelle in Grande Ile, and despite this fact, she was named only a temporary heir conditional on the birth of a son. From birth to age 7, Nicolette knew quite well of her status as heir to House Lachapelle (even if only temporarily). She was raised and taught for those years in preparation for assuming control of House Lachapelle on the chance they might be unable to produce a male heir, and so on top of her normal education she was taught as much as possible about the role her family played in Parliament and in the country as a whole.
xxxShortly after her 7th birthday, her mother gave birth to a son, and Aluin was immediately deemed the proper heir while Lord Lachapelle simultaneously relegated Nicolette to a lower status. All studies related to being the heir and someday assuming control of House Lachapelle ceased immediately, and instead she only had her normal studies/education. A couple years later, Lady Lachapelle began privately teaching Nicolette about the inner workings of the house itself and her role there, so that she might prepare her daughter for her eventual betrothal and marriage to another noble. It was from the lady's desires to see her daughter succeed in life that she initiated and went about these teachings so enthusiastically, while the lord of the house assumed it was solely to improve appearances, if their daughter could prove to be a knowledgeable and capable lady of another house someday.
xxxWhen Nicolette was 14, House Voltaire was seeking a future wife for their heir Richard, and House Lachapelle offered Nicolette. House Voltaire agreed. A year later, Richard got the idea from the House Fabre heir leaving for Kodo that he should travel the world as well, so he left in order to do so. Nicolette ended up seeing him subsequently very infrequently, though with occasional correspondence (more frequent, at least, than visits in person), so the two only spent about a year getting to know each other before he left. Just after the New Year in 2013, Richard had spoken to his father about Nicolette's lack of real world experience, and House Voltaire subsequently called off the betrothal.
xxxShortly after the end of her engagement, Nicolette decided that she completely agreed with Richard in that she had little experience outside Devoirue, so she asked permission from her parents to travel. They agreed, but only to allow her to travel around Grande Ile at first, which was how Nicolette spent her entire spring that year, minus the annual House Lachapelle spring party. With summer nearing, though, and her travels complete, her father told her that her next destination would be Kodo, given its proximity and the Grande Insulaire embassy there, as well as the fact a couple other young nobles (not to mention a plethora of others from Grande Ile) had moved there or otherwise went for extended visits. She was told to go there next and seek out the others, and learn more about Kodo with their guidance.

xxPersonality Nicolette is thus far a pretty equal blend of both parents. While appearances are important and are to be kept in mind at all times, she is also kind and sympathetic like her mother, and endeavors to understand the plights of others as best she can. Given the fact she has hardly any experience outside her home, she really has no idea about the hardships of others or what they feel, and therefore the depth to which she can understand the plight of others is almost nonexistent. She tries, though. Her recent travels across Grande Ile to its various cities and towns of varying wealth and levels of poverty, however, has at least somewhat broadened her experiences of others hardships.
xxxShe's very naive, more than a little gullible and doesn't always think about things for herself, depending; if her parents tell her something, she'll take it at face value and accept it without question and assume it is the absolute truth. It isn't quite as bad if one of the servants or someone of repute tells her something (she would seek out her parents thoughts before believing anything), but she pretty much believes whatever anyone says. She will at some point need to start thinking for herself and forming her own opinions instead of adopting everyone else's, but when that will happen remains to be seen.
xxxShe's sensitive and sweet by nature, as well as curious and likes to learn and experience new things. She has probably never been out of her comfort zone before, or if she has, it's only been extremely briefly. As such, she is ill equipped to handle unfamiliar types of stress, and cries easily depending on what it is that's bothering her. She makes every attempt to avoid crying in public, however, due to her opinions on appearances, but unfortunately for her, her attempts usually fail miserably.

xxxAppearance: Epona, unlike normal Rapidash, has no horn on her forehead, and has a bit of extra fur around her fetlocks. While out, she typically can be seen wearing a matching bridle and saddle complete with saddlebags, where Nicolette stores various things but mostly baked goods.
xxxPersonality: More than anything else, Epona is calm and patient. She never gets nervous, excited, angry, or frustrated. That isn't to say she's emotionless, which is far from the truth; her emotions are just subdued and mild, and typically range from contentedness to quiet joy or suspicion. Her favorite thing to do is gallop as fast as she can, and therefore loves wide, open spaces in which to do so. She loves her trainer just as much, and is very loyal to the young girl.
xxxHistory: Epona was born and raised in Fleuraison, Grande Ile, and was trained to serve as a mount. She confused her handlers when she evolved and had no horn, as they hadn't seen such a Rapidash before, but they decided not to worry too much about it. A few years later she was sold to a noble family and transported to Devoirue, and it was there that Epona met Nicolette for the first time, though then she was a great deal shorter. Though it took Nicolette quite some time to learn, she eventually did, and with enough practice riding became almost second nature to her, thanks to her Rapidash's patient and quiet demeanor. When Nicolette went to Kodo, Epona of course went with her.

xxxPersonality: Pascal prides himself as Nicolette's strongest pokemon, and is thus a little full of himself at times. He is enthusiastic and energetic, loves to battle, and sincerely believes he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to - it just might take him a while to do so. Generally there isn't really any person or pokemon he doesn't like, as he's very easy to get along with, though there are some exceptions. He is also prone to pouting at times.
xxxHistory: He doesn't remember much from when he was very young, apart from being part of a large family he barely remembers. What he does remember is struggling to fend for himself, though determined to succeed - but one day he came across a girl and challenged her and her pokemon to battle. He rushed towards her Rapidash and crashed headfirst into its leg, and though the fire-type was unaffected, Pascal promptly fell over backwards. Nicolette tapped the ball to his head and the rest, as they say, is history. He evolved into a Lopunny the following year.

xxxPersonality: Angeline is and always has been strong-willed, stubborn, fiercely independent, and a little impatient. She loves to run around and play and battle, but as an Eevee she was continually restricted by her adoptive mother, Lulu, and the interference was mostly a source of frustration for the young normal-type who found herself unable to do what she wanted. As a Jolteon now, she uses her speed to run off and do all of the things she always wanted or tried to do as an Eevee but never could. Though she is still frustrated by her mother's overprotectiveness, she tries not to get too upset about it. Now that she has fewer restrictions, she hopes to become as strong as possible - maybe even become Nicolette's strongest pokemon.
xxxHistory: Unbeknownst to anyone except the one who requested it and the ones who did it, Angeline is the product of Team Rocket's labs combining the DNA of a then-stolen Umbreon and a grunt's Chimecho, but her egg was the only one to make it to a market in Camphoreon. Nicolette happened across it and purchased it, eager to have not only a new pokemon, but an egg. It took a while for it to hatch, but when it did, the trainer was greeted with an adorable blue-eyed Eevee with pink heart markings. After remaining an Eevee for quite some time, Angeline managed to convey to her trainer her desire to evolve into a Jolteon.

xxxPersonality: Due to her sad past, Lulu is very quiet and anxious, prone to fretting or worrying more than necessary, and occasionally has bouts of quiet mourning. Her reticence doesn't mean she's shy, because that isn't the case - she doesn't mind meeting new people or pokemon, she just rarely speaks. She isn't that interested in battling unless it's alongside her daughter, and then it's more to protect her than anything else. Now that her adopted daughter has evolved into a Jolteon, she isn't quite as overprotective, but still worries a great deal more than she should.
xxxHistory: Lulu was a wild pokemon for a very long time, both before and after she evolved. It was in the wild that she met her mate, another Vaporeon, and spent a great deal of time with him. After a few years, the pair had a large number of eggs together, and Lulu couldn't have been happier. Her happiness lasted but a moment though; one second she was watching over the clutch while her mate was away fishing, and the next second everything went black. Her mate returned and found her sprawled on the ground, unconscious, and every single egg missing. When Lulu awoke, the other Vaporeon explained his idea to go after whoever stole their eggs and get them back, on the condition Lulu stayed there until he returned so they could all be together again. She reluctantly agreed, and they said their good-byes.
xxxMany months passed and Lulu couldn't stand to simply sit around and wait any longer, so she left to go search for her missing mate and their eggs, but never found them. Several years later she found herself on Kodo's shores, and had all but given up on her search, instead choosing to lay motionless on the beach. A girl came across her one day and offered her a bit of food, and after that day began to come by every morning, but Lulu barely stirred. It wasn't until one day that same girl came by with an egg that the Vaporeon's interest was piqued, and she began to follow the trainer, focused more on the egg than anything else. Not long after, Nicolette officially captured the water-type and Lulu claimed the egg as her own. She was determined not to lose this egg - or the Eevee that hatched from it - and became overprotective, following the normal-type around even after Angeline could fend for herself, doing her best to keep her away from anything she thought was dangerous.

xxxPersonality: A little selfish and spoiled, Clarisse generally thinks of herself before others, though not out of spite or malice. Apart from that, she's generally friendly and personable, and excels at putting on a cute face and mannerisms to try and get what she wants. She also is absolutely terrified of being left alone for reasons she refuses to talk about.
xxxHistory: Clarisse was born to a breeder, part of a quality line of Eevee specifically raised for the wealthier residents of Lumiose City in Kalos. She was bought by one such wealthy resident and pampered to her heart's content, and eventually evolved to a Sylveon. After a time, the family she was with changed; the children grew and became more spoiled, and the pampering she had grown used to had become stifling and overbearing. It was during this time that she met another Sylveon, and the pair ran away together. Somehow they managed to make it to the coast and boarded a boat destined for Kodo. After arriving, they spent a few days homeless and hungry before coming across two trainers. The two girls took them in and each kept one, and Clarisse has been with Nicolette ever since.

xxxPersonality: Friendly, affectionate, and curious are the three best words to describe this tiny Luvdisc. She doesn't get out too much, but enjoys it whenever she can.
xxxHistory: There isn't much to tell. Lovie is still quite young, and was born in the waters near Makko. It was there that she was caught by an enthusiastic young trainer who promptly gave her to his friend Nicolette.

xxxPersonality: Natacha is a determined predator, always ready to hunt regardless of when her last meal was, and once she has a target in her sights there is little that can be done to dissuade her. One of the only things that can, however, are cupcakes. They are her new favorite food.
xxxWhile all of Nicolette's other pokemon are incredibly wary around and suspicious of her, Natacha is indifferent towards all of them (unless she's hungry, of course, though she has yet to succeed in eating a single one), and only really seems to like her trainer. She is similarly indifferent towards strangers (again, unless she's hungry), and for all she cares they may as well not even be there.
xxxHistory: Nicolette came across Natacha at the beaches near Camphoreon one day during summer. Oblivious to the Feraligatr's hunger and morbid intentions for her smaller pokemon and possibly her as well, the girl went right up to the massive water-type to pet her and offer her baked treats. Natacha had come because of the thought of an easy meal of small pokemon, but stayed because of the delicious treats she'd never had before, and thereafter followed the girl home after promises of more treats.
