At the apex of the wondrous Kingdom of Serenity lies the recently created Apotheosis, where one can make pilgrimage to to realize their full power, drink from the Fountain of Life in the garden (to heal almost any ailments and fully restore your health) or study at the vast library, which holds at least one copy of every document made from all known worlds.
These are just some of the various possibilities at this Serenity inside of Serenity. It is, however, uneasy to reach. Any Serenitian or otherwise powered person who steps onto Angel's Bridge, the area leading to the palace, loses their powers and must travel normally. It is an incredibly far distance from the start near the Kingdom of Serenity. Various trials await any who try to pass through the bridge; trials that test the mind, body, willpower, sense, and many more.
Who created all of this, you ask?

Why, none other than Nero Lylatt of course. Another throne of his sits in the throne room of the palace, where he may be to be asked favors by commoners or humans alike...

Artemis Lylatt

"Just walk beside me, and be my friend."

Artemis grunted as he was taken to completely unfamiliar surroundings. "What? This feeling..." It felt like Serenity, but... even more calming. Like any enmity in the air was just washed away. To all those gathered, it would feel like they were at true mental and emotional peace. It was unlike anything they had ever experienced. And the air around them was so pure--it was Aether, the pure, pristine air which gods breathed. With every breath, any ailments or injuries would be completely washed away, and they would feel invigorated.
"Apotheosis..?" The highest point of Serenity, created by his father. It was used primarily as the home of the High Serenitians.

"Artemis Lylatt, third son of the god Nero Lylatt and the princess Phoenix Lylatt." In the brightly lit, circular room around them, several powerful beings appeared, encircling the group. "Welcome to Apotheosis, the highest point of heaven."
"Are these the High Serenitians...?" Blaze asked himself. He had only ever really heard of them--it was incredibly rare for the High Serenitians to ever physically show themselves to anyone, even other Serenitians.
"That is correct, Blaze, fourth child of the god Nero Ly-"
"Okay, we got it the first time." Malak said with a sigh.
"..." They might notice that the ones encircling them were perfectly spaced out, but it seemed as though there were two spots that were missing. "...Where is he?"
"Who are wee talking about here?" Another asked, though the question was more rhetorical. "He's always late. I'd be surprised if he even showed."
"...I suppose we will start without him." He took a deep breath. "We are the High Council, the highest position of the High Serenitians."
"You guys sound pretty high." Malak must have thought he was so funny.
"Wow..." Seraphim seemed pretty impressed, though.
"We are the ones who collaborate to make decisions regarding the future of High Serenitians and Common Serenitians alike. Though you may notice we are missing one member..."
"Looks like two to me." Blaze pointed out.
The man speaking sighed. "Let's not discuss the other one..." He seemed pretty irritated about that. "We have lost a member of our council. That member was your older brother, the first-born son of Nero and Phoenix, Balder Lylatt."
"Balder..." Artemis's grip on his staff tightened slightly. "I apologize. It is my fault that he has been killed. I will accept any punishment you deem necessary."
"Punishment? We are not here to decide punishment. But your words only further prove your qualifications."
"I... don't follow."
"Part of being a High Serenitian is carrying the weight of your fellow Serenitians on your shoulders. It is not an easy position, and even more difficult if you become a council member. That's why you're here. We need a replacement for Balder."
"Of course, Balder cannot ever be replaced. His wisdom and power were far past his age. He would have become our leader for certain, but..." The High Serenitian paused. "Artemis Lylatt. Whenever we would discuss future High Serenitians, you were always the first one that Balder would suggest. We have monitored you for some time--your mental and physical prowess is undeniable, and you wield the Embrace of Souls, the complete joining of good and evil power--the weapon only someone with an unquestionably strong soul can wield. Furthermore, your contributions in the battle against The Beast only further cements your status."
"Artemis Lylatt, we wish for you to become one of us. A High Serenitian, but even more than that--we wish to collaborate with you on the future of our race. Though you will not immediately be considered a member of the council, after a year your contributions will be evaluated and we will decide whether you will join us. You are the youngest Serenitian we have ever offered this position to, the youngest prior to you had been your brother, who was two years older than you are now when we offered him the position."
"...." Artemis blinked. "Wh... me, a High Serenitian? I... I am not worthy of such a position. Truly, to even be considered is an honor, but I cannot think that I would be an asset." Artemis was powerful, but he hardly thought he was worthy to become a High Serenitian. Though in truth, his power was at least equal to the other High Serenitians at this point. At least, most of them. And he was still only a Common Serenitian, which was almost unheard of. "There must be some sort of mistake..."
"Hardly," An elf Serenitian said, picking at his ear. "Your father even recommended you for this position. And recommendations from gods aren't something we typically ignore." His eyes went to Kana. "The only mistake is you. Why is this creature here? I assume we're going to kill it."
"She may be a Reaper, but her past shows she has been reformed. You know that as well as the rest of us do." The elf sighed. "By none other than Artemis... further proof of your position. No Serenitian has ever been able to successfully reform a Reaper before. Even council members, myself included, have tried and failed. Believe me, we do not extend this invitation lightly." That was shown by how powerful so many other Serenitians were, and yet were not offered the position. At least, not yet. Artemis was a special case.

Kana didn't really know very much, if anything about the High Serenitians, so her presence here was..strange, maybe even a little uncomfortable. She was still her father's daughter, while she had turned from her dark ways, there would always be that small hint of darkness that remained. This purely holy, serene place was something she had never experienced before. Glancing at Artemis, Kana looked puzzled. What was all this about him becoming some high serenitian? It was a great honor, but also she couldn't help but think it wasn't so good for one reason. "...Artie..? I don't like the sound of this! It sounds like they want to take you away from me. " She stepped closer to him, slipping her arms around his own. They weren't taking him anywhere! ".And it sounds like you will always be busy and have no time for me..."

Then, she turned to the elf. The glare she had on him would scare any human away, but probably not him. "...Mistake you say..?! Creature..." Most people who insulted her didn't live to long after to get anymore words out. Ever again. "....A-Artie...Ugly-ear-picker is talking to me like i'm a 'thing'! Can I kill him? "

"Haha..." Artemis sighed, though chuckled a bit. "The Forest Serenitians aren't very good at expressing themselves, Kana. Don't take offense to it."
The elf put his hands on his hips. "Hmph. The Forest Serenitians are enemies of the Reapers, even more so than the Common Serenitians. Have you forgotten what your people did to ours? Not to mention only recently, our princess was defiled by one of yours. A former friends of yours, if I'm not mistaken." That being Aurora. "Princess Alisa was cast out and branded heretic because of this. She has no more place with the Forest Serenitians."
"What? Alisa is...?"
"Enough. That's not why we're here." He sighed. "In any case, Artemis... your significant other is correct. To make this pledge, you must devote yourself wholly to the good of others. This means swearing off all earthly desires and pleasures, including romance. You will have to break off any sort of emotional attachment to this girl." He said seriously.
"...I see..."
"...I understand you must be torn about this. We will give you time to come up with an answ-"
"Oh, I need no time. I decline." Artemis said with no hesitation.
"What?! So quickly?"
"Why?"
"Because Kana is my love." Artemis said. "Any power you could offer me pales in comparison to the feeling of being with her. I have no desire to sever that connection. Though I am honored to be offered this opportunity, I must decline. I will remain with Kana for the rest of my days." And nothing would come between them. Even the dream all Serenitians had of ascending to this position meant less to him than she did.
"....Hahahaa!" The elf laughed. "That was the fastest I've ever seen it done. This kid really is remarkable."
"...Indeed." The High Serenitian smiled. "Artemis... we would welcome you as one of us."
"What? I don't understand..."
"That was your last test. We give it to all those who come here... Though none have ever passed so quickly. Even Balder took several days to decline." He nodded. "The true strength of Serenitians lies in the bonds they make. Though it sounds cliche, a Serenitian is judged by the strength of his heart. The love of those around him. Only one driven so much could find a place amongst the High Serenitians. By accepting--by willingly throwing away the bonds you've made in exchange for power--it would be proof that your heart and soul are not ready for the responsibility. Becoming a High Serenitian is no small feat. We must ensure those of us here would not misuse the power we bestow upon them." He paused, then shook his head. "Apotheosis is a realm that exists between mind and matter. Here, time will not pass in the world you call home. Becoming a High Serenitian does not shoulder you with any more daily responsibilities than usual. It as an honor that is earned, and rewarded to those who deserve it. You have proven to be one. The only things we will ask will be special situations that require our attention, or times when we convene as a council." Power began to build in the room. "We will now begin the Ascension Ritual. The rest of you, please stand back." As in, get behind the circle of High Serenitians so they could preform the ritual for Artemis.

"Hmmm..." Kana locked eyes with the elf serentiain, his attitude really bothered her! "They were no longer my people when that happened..I never really cared for any of the Reapers but for maybe Jericho. " She crossed her arms. "What? Ah,haha..! I thought all of you Serenitians were pure beings of kindness and forgiveness?? But you would cast out one of your own because of something a REAPER did to her against her will? Who's the baddies here now? Hmm? " She really did have a point there. How could they just out-cast her for something that wasn't her doing? "Your leader of the Forest Serenitians is an idiot. If you don't let her back in, you aren't any better then a Reaper. " She and this elf would be best friends, it was so obvious.

Then, the man from moments ago spoke up again, silencing her for the most part, she did give one last glare at the elf, before looking on to the one speaking to Artemis. ".....??! W-what..? " And so her fears were true? The peaceful, loving Serenitians would be the ones who took Artemis away? There was no way she would be able to handle that..her suddenly rapid heart beat told her that too, along with the knot forming in her stomach. This thought made her feel terrible. "..Artemis? " She called softly, the look of her almost saddened puppy-dog eyes bore into his soul! And it was just like that..

That he declined. And probably not because of those eyes. What happened next was yet another strangeness for the former cold-hearted Reaper, her violet eyes glistened faintly with tears as she suddenly latched back onto his arm, hugging it tightly! "D-Don't scare me like that again!! " She pouted, still clinging to him. One had to wonder, how he could be so happy with such a crazy, loud and insecure girl, she most certainly had to be embarrassing to him, in front of all these people! High Serentiains, no less! Not that she wanted to be, she just..couldn't help her self. The moment she thought he would be leaving her, it was to crushing to bare. "I couldn't stand it if you left me.."

Her attention was then drawn to the sudden laughter of the Elf, which at this point she almost, almost wanted to tear the throat out of, her first thoughts were he was making fun of them! But the more he spoke, Kana would soon find herself confused.."....." Sniffling, she slowly slipped her hands from his arms, letting Artemis go while she gave the two High Serentiains a slight glare through glassy eyes. "...You guys are to mean...Such a mean lie! ---Not my favorite people.. Hmph! " With that, she began to walk away with the others when they were told to stand back..She would end up next to the strangely silent Ariana.

"Mordi will protect everyone..."

User Image

Mordi was having such a nice time, just walking hand-in-hand with Autumn in a beautiful field of flowers. The scene was so idyllic, Mordi wanted it to never end. Being able to spend time with Autumn was a treasure--every single moment was special to her. "Mordi..." Autumn spoke softly to her. Mordi wasn't sure what she was trying to say... but she couldn't respond. "Mordi." There it was again. Was that really Autumn's voice? It was coming out of her mouth, but... "MORDI!"
"MOR?!" Mordi suddenly jolted awake, the shock causing a column of earth to shoot up from below the elf High Serenitian, sending him into the ceiling. "..." Mordi blinked several times. Oh yeah. She was here. "M-Mordi wasn't asleep!" Very convincing.

"You're working this poor girl to the bone," Nero said nonchalantly as he leaned over lazily on his seat.
"We've barely even summoned her!!" The elf High Serenitian Quinaro said angrily as he stood, dusting himself off. "And why should we?! She's a stupid annoying mud princess! Why is she even a goddess?!? This is absurd!"
"Calm down, Quinaro," Balder said with a sigh.
"Mordi isn't stupid." Mordi said defensively, pouting. "Autumn says so."
"Well AUTUMN is even more stupid than you, so I wouldn't trust her word."
"Are you really antagonizing a goddess, Quinny?"
"Don't call me that you prepubescent masochist!"
"It used to be so much quieter around here..."
"Mor...." She glanced over at the empty seat between her and Nero. "Um, Cosmos isn't even here. Can I leave now?"
"NO."
"Cosmos almost never attends," Balder said. "I was wanting to call a meeting between the High Council and the Serenitian Gods to discuss the Forest Kingdom, but this is turning into a bit of a mess."
"What is there to talk about?" Quinaro asked, irritated as he sat back down, crossing his arms. His ears twitched a bit. "There's nothing wrong with the Forest Kingdom."
"I just had a meeting with its queen where she dodged every question Artemis and I asked. We have reason to believe they're involved in the uprising happening in the primary kingdom."
"We don't really involve ourselves in these sorts of things, Balder."
"Maybe not lately, but the High Serenitians were founded to keep the peace between the kingdoms and quell worldwide threats. And yet none of you could be bothered to help against The Beast."
"You mean you?"
"No."
"Honestly, how do we even know you're still the same Balder? You-"
"We've already had this discussion, Quinny. Balder has been evaluated and deemed fit to return to his position."
"Well, I don't like it. And quit calling me that!" The elf huffed. "First we let a Touched onto the council, now we're letting Balder, who was corrupted once, back? All we're doing is setting ourselves up for a fall. Why don't we just go invite Krul to join us?"
"I wouldn't mind some nice eye candy, and Krul is one of the most attractive things out there."
"I wasn't serious!"
"Hmm, shame."
"Where is Artemis now, Balder?"
"...Still in the Forest Kingdom. Don't worry too much about it." Yeah that would probably be for the best, all things considered. "This is a matter that the High Serenitians shouldn't just ignore. Don't you agree, Nero?" He generally tried not to call him "father" in meetings such as these.
"Uh, yeah, sure, whatever." Nero sighed. "Can I leave now?"
"Helpful," Quinaro said with a blank expression.
"What about you, Mordi?"
"Zzzzzzzzzz......."
"Oh, for the love of..."

And suddenly, without warning....A not so welcomed guest appeared there, right beside where Mordi was sitting. Her large brimmed pointed witch hat really made it easy to figure out who it was without even seeing her face. Though her long pink hair was a pretty big give away, too, and that crazy laughter of hers. Yes, yes, it was the great magical witch of many screw ups, Autumn! Her laughter filled the entire room, so much that it would be a surprise if she didn't re-awaken ol'sleepy Mordi! "Ahahaha!! IT WORKED!! Take that! It really does pay off to learn new magic! " Using her new learned magic to use her connection with Mordi, she was able to track and locate exactly where she was, and from there..it was a simple teleport to her.
She was so excited of her victory, she really didn't notice just who all was in the room until, well now. "Oh....this looks important.." Autumn grinned, looking a little more proud of her break in of the high Serenitian meeting! That's when she noticed Mordi wasn't quite so awake as she thought, causing a small frown to form. She tottally missed her awesome appearance! ...Okay, so it wasn't really awesome, she just wanted her to see the moment she showed up, so she knew it was ALL her doing, and not someone else's magic. Silly Autumn had to prove she wasn't always a failure! "..Heeeyyy...Did you guys bore her to death? ...It does look kind of boring. Wow, Nothing like what I had pictured! This is the great High Serenitan talky-talk-place? Everything is so white, it looks like a place a creepy scientist would spend his time! " It was actually pretty nice, but she couldn't say such a nice compliment. This was the place that took up Mordi's time, Mordi and her time together! ...Until now.

"MOR?!?" And once again, the Earth Goddess jolted awake, though this time the surprise caused her to throw herself back, causing the chair she was in to fall over backwards with her still in it. There was a thud as she hit the floor behind her. "...Mor......" She muttered out tiredly. "Mordi wasn't sleeping..." She said, trying even less to be convincing this time.
"Well, at least that awakening was more entertaining." Quinaro said, leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms. "Autumn Wolve, second daughter of Ein Al and Teresa Wolve," he identified her disinterestedly. "So we're dealing with a ROYAL brat now. Daughter of a princess. You must feel so special." He leaned his head against his hand. "Though I guess that's pretty common these days." There was a lot of royalty in the world, it seemed.
"Oh boy, it's Autumn," Nero said. "Did you visit the moon again on your way here? How is it up there? Any air yet?" He was just so fun wasn't he. "What other loud, obnoxious people can we get in here? Let's bring in, oh, I dunno... Kana, Lily, throw in Ariel too, we can bring Erina that one would be cool, Cosmos--oh wait, she's supposed to be here but isn't. Not that she'd be any help since she's a failure of a goddess. What other wacky characters are there? I guess there's my bird fiancee, there's a good one. Rinoa, Julia, Elise, Morgan, Hana--that would be funny--L'Arachel..." And he just continued, naming a bunch of different people, some of whom he had met and some he hadn't. Not that that mattered since he knew pretty much everyone in the world.
Balder rubbed the crease between his eyes, sighing. "This meeting isn't going to go anywhere." He glanced up. "How'd you get here, Autumn? This place is impossible to sense for common Serenitians. No, wait, let me guess--you made a spell that would instantly transport you to wherever Mordi is. I guess that would be one way to circumvent it, but you didn't pick the best time."
Mordi picked herself up begrudgingly, kicking the chair she was sitting in. The kick sent it clean through the wall. ...Mordi still didn't seem to understand her full physical strength. Even as a goddess, some things never changed. "Mordi hates those chairs." She stomped onto the ground, causing a throne made of rock to shoot out of the ground just behind her, which she sat in. Most people would find a chair like this to be supremely uncomfortable, but Mordi seemed to be so much more relaxed now. "Much better..." She blinked, turning to face the newcomer. "...Oh, when did Autumn get here?" Maybe Autumn wasn't the only airheaded one in the relationship sometimes... "Thank goodness, Mordi was so bored. Did Autumn come to rescue Mordi?" From her severe boredom, of course. So in need of saving!
"We aren't done, Mordi!" Quinaro grimaced. "Why do I have to deal with such an insufferable, annoying goddess?! Stupid Alistair. If he hadn't recommended you, I wouldn't have to deal with you!"
"Mordi would also be dead if that was the case."
"Sometimes sacrifices have to be made," What a pleasant person! "And you!" He barked at Autumn. "This area is restricted from common Serenitians! Get out! Can someone teleport her away already?"
Nero shrugged as he leaned back in his seat, his arms crossed. "I own the place and I don't care if she's here."
"Ugh! Am I the only one here with any sense? Any care for the traditions?! Stupid children gods..." It was funny how not dignified the High Council here seemed to be. Most would expect the High Council of High Serenitians to be much more reserved, authoritative and severe, but yet this meeting was a lot more... colorful than that.

Maybe if Autumn was...well, less Autumn-ish, she might of been able to help stop her sleepy girlfriends fall, but between boasting of her victory of reaching the unreachable, her attention wasn't where it should of been at that moment! "Oh..gosh, are you that excited to see me?! " No, she didn't even seem to realize she was there, which was all the more amusing!
"Is the cute sea-princess okay? " Autumn looked down at her, holding out a hand to help her up just before she would turn to the pointy-eared elf. "Hmmm? Well, I can see why you are a Hiiiigh Serenitian, with ears that high into the air, it makes sense they would choose you. " Autumn smirked, placing a hand to her hip as she watched him. "Maybe. For little ol'Autumn to be so well known, I guess I do feel kind of special! Ha! Thank you for recognizing me, elf-boy! "
"Oh, look at that. It's the lazy God of Chocolate Shakes! As a matter of a fact, No,I just so happened to make it here in one go. It's what practicing and learning new spells does for a person. Not that you would know, you can't even make your OWN Chocolate shake! " Autumns face fell into boredom as she stared at him as he named off random names, some she knew, and some she didn't. "Um, right, i'm bored of you now. I'll talk to this one next!" And so, she turned to Balder, giving him a thumbs up and big goofy grin. "Rightie-o! You're the smart one of the family, huh? " Besides Artemis, they were the two smarties! "Oh, but I picked the BEST time! My senses told me Mordi was in danger...Danger of extreme torture, the torture of pure boredom sitting around this boring room talking to mostly boring people! Not so much of you, though, Baldie." She didn't seem to catch just how that sounded, but darn was it ever funny. She tagged silly ends to peoples names all the time, so it didn't really occur to her that it sounded as if she were calling him bald. For now, Balder was the lucky one spared of her insults, unless he decided to be like everyone else was to her. To bad her slow brain kind of accidentally called him bald, though..
Turning to Quinaro now, taking a step closer toward him. "...Let's roll back what you just said there, 'sometimes sacrifices have to be made'? ...Would you like me to sacrifice you? I can send you to the moon, if you would like. A slow death sounds like a lot of fun. Someone who doesn't value Mordi's life shouldn't be in a place like this ether, or even in her presence! "

"Mordi is... always excited to see Autumn..." Mordi said drowsily as she remained there on the ground for a few more moments, not even realizing Autumn was really there until a few moments later. Honestly she just thought her voice was just part of her dream. "Mor..." She let out, rubbing her eyes. "Mordi is always okay when she's looking at Autumn." Damn, smooth. Though the smile she wore when she said that conveyed just how genuine her words were.
"Clever," Quinaro said flatly, giving her a blank look with his arms crossed. "Comment on an elf's ears. Yes, I've never heard that one before. Why stop there? Where's the comment about helping Santa wrap his gifts? Or the frolicking in the meadows? Come on, I'm sure you can throw out even more cliche elf insults while you're at it. Racist." These two would get along so swimmingly, wouldn't they. "It's my job to recognize and identify even uninteresting common Serenitians like yourself. Trust me, you aren't special." He seemed very insistent that she not feel special in any way.
"Mor." Mordi let out, her tone clearly annoyed. "Autumn is special. She's the coolest, most confident girl Mordi's ever met. And that's impressive since she's such a failure at almost everything she does." There was Mordi's overly candid speaking habits again. She might have even been more straightforward than her father. The more things change the more they stay the same--even as a goddess AND Autumn's girlfriend she was still saying things that both complimented and insulted her. And yet Mordi probably thought it was all praise, like it was just SO IMPRESSIVE how confident she was even with her failures. "She's great and pretty and cute and amazing and you better be nicer to her. Goddess' orders." Mordi put her hands on her hips, raising her head and beaming, as though her words had some kind of powerful finality to them. As though she were just the best at defending Autumn! But really she just looked and sounded kinda childish. But hey, it was pretty cute.
"Quite the compliment," Quinaro said sarcastically. "Maybe I should stop insulting you, Autumn Wolve. it must be hard enough on you having her as a girlfriend." He certainly didn't hold back, did he.
"How is having Mordi as a girlfriend so hard...?"
"You play in the mud for one thing."
"Oh yeah."
Quinaro sighed. "A goddess who plays in the mud. What a joke." He muttered under his breath.
"Guess someone has to be," Balder said, leaning his face against one of his hands. A jolt of lightning shot up from him, destroying the volleyball that was dropped towards his head. He glanced across the table at his father. "Really, Nero?" While he was already right there.
"Love you too, son."
Balder sighed, glancing back at Autumn. He gave her a look as she called him "baldie." "...Thanks." He returned flatly.
"You don't value your own life if you're threatening a High Serenitian," Quinaro returned to Autumn, clearly unfazed. "I could pop your tiny brain like a balloon in an instant if I wanted to. If you keep threatening me, I may just have to. Honestly, that might be for the best. It would spare the world of your irritating-"
Mordi kicked her foot against the floor, causing a tremor to go below Quinaro and shoot up, sending him into the ceiling. "Mor." She said dully, as Quinaro remained lodged in the ceiling, twitching a bit. Needless to say, she was quite protective over Autumn. And the same seemed to be true of Autumn towards her. They were childhood friends turned lovers, so one could say that was to be expected, really. "Does Autumn want to go somewhere else? This meeting is boring. Everyone's talking in circles, and nothing ever gets done..." As much as Balder would hate to admit it, that was pretty true. That's politics though. Especially around here where there had to be unanimous agreement on a course of action, things rarely got done.

Autumn's goofy grin was one indication she had enough brains to figure out her dear mud-loving princess was still half asleep, and didn't fully comprehend that Autumn was truly there! "Ehehe...Mordi must be dreamin' 'bout me..she's so cute!" Well, while Mordi was becoming more awake, she decided this would be a good time irritate the blond elf some more.
"Oh, hey that's a good question. Did you dress up in striped stockings, tight green tunics and have big jingle bells on your head? Or maybe your ears because they're so big?! " Autumn didn't seem to carry much fear, did she? Making fun of, and threatening high Serenitians was a great thrill to her, a rush she couldn't get enough of! Expect for when it really became bad, then she realized her mistakes to, to late. It happened quite a lot, too! At his next own attempt to insult her, Autumn snickered rather loudly! "Oh, that's fine. My parents think i'm special, and so does Mordi! That's all that matters to me, the whole world can hate me, and I will remain just as happy as ever, as long as I have my most important people that care about me, nothing else matters! " She smiled at him, grinning. "What will your next insult attempt be? "
For a moment, Autumns grin widened as Mordi began to speak her complimenting words........or so she thought! It seemed even her hat fell a little over her face as her own face fell into a awkward smile. Insulted? Nah, never. It was amusing, but also a little embarrassing! But more then that, it was also really darn cute. Lifting her hand to raise up her hat again, Autumn reached out and patted Mordi on the head. "Ahahaha...Yeah, you see? Straight from the cute Goddess's mouth, you should listen to her. "
"Hmmm? So what's wrong with playing in the mud? Oh, right.! Elves are high maintenance, aren't they? Everything must be perfection to you, a simple piece of dirt might drive you batty, let alone mud. Oh gods no! MUD! It's so ...horrible!!" Gods, why couldn't there be mud here right now? She really wanted to throw him into a good muddy pit right about now.

"You talk funny. You're not Nero, you don't have powers even remotely close to his, so 'popping' of anyone's brain for you would be pretty impossible! Skills like that only a God like him can do, besides that, your status of a High Serenitian doesn't scare me none! I'll fight you here right now! " Maybe not her brightest idea, but then again when did she ever have good idea's? Before she could say anything more however, Quinaro went for a brief flight into the ceiling, where he would remain stuck there in the most amusing position she may ever see again. Autumn couldn't contain her own laughter at this point! The poor guys, this may of been the lively 'meeting' they've ever had to suffer through.
"That was the best thing ever, Mordi..Look at him! He looks like such a fool! "
It took silly Autumn a moment to calm her laughter down, enough to pull her attention away from the amusing sight above, and back to Mordi. "Now you're talking! Uh, you pick a place you like, okay?? I mean, if you're coming with me. If not, I'll just stay here and torture the elf some more."

The room was unusually chaotic in this gathering of High Serenitians and gods, though one who was quite characteristically calm--and bored--sat leaned against his throne, which matched that of the other still living Serenitian god. The young-looking God of Wisdom, Nero, let out a somewhat bored sigh as everyone else in the room stumbled about and shouted. Usually things were a little more calm here, but given the sudden spatial tears forming around Serenity, and the apparent melding with another world, the chaos was justifiable enough. "I said this would happen." Nero said, his voice as bored as his expression. "I pointed out the anomalies in space-time literally every time we've met in the last month. You'd think you would heed a god's advice a little more." Nero glanced around as excuses were thrown his way, such as, what could we have even done about it? Nero let out another sigh. "I explained this already... but whatever. I'm not waiting for permission anymore. We need to merge the worlds, otherwise Serenity will be torn apart." He stood up--he and the other divine being here would be able to feel the tears in space-time growing more numerous and unstable. ...She might not be able to comprehend it as well, though. "The Goddess of War and I will perform the ritual, now." There wasn't much choice left. It may have been a bit taboo, but it was either that or let everyone still in Serenity die a very painful atomic death. "Come on..." He reached out a hand, clasping it with the Goddess of War's beside him, and in that moment, their power joined and surged. The power of an Omni-God, the power that the gods of Serenity fought for long ago... that power could be channeled by joining the power of the two that remained.
And channel it did. The High Serenitians gathered may even feel utter fear at the power created from the joining of the two gods, as it shook and thundered out of their joined hands, pure power jettisoning out of their forms. The world began to quake violently as the core of the world of Serenity reached out and connected to one, joint nexus. And through this nexus, it was connected to so very many other worlds, but it was inexorably linked to the world where the nexus began.
With this link, the tears across Serenity finally began to mend themselves, though this wasn't without its new set of problems. And that was made clear as several princesses of Serenity would be ripped out of Serenity and tossed into the nexus world, and some locations even manifested physically in that world. Nero let out a sigh as he let go of the Goddess's hand, wiping his hand on his cloak as if that brief physical contact disgusted him to his core. He felt quite exhausted after that, leaning his arm against his throne to keep himself standing, though given the better conditioning of the goddess's body, given she was a warrior, she probably wouldn't feel nearly as tired. "I need a shake..." He muttered, leaning his head against his hand as he closed his eyes. "There, mommy and daddy solved the problem for you stupid children. You're welcome." It was VERY hard for the High Serenitians to feel terribly thankful to Nero most of the time. For SOME reason. He was just so nice and all. Most of them muttered their thanks, though directed it more towards the goddess, which earned them an irritated look from the God of Wisdom. He and the goddess were not romantically involved, obviously... but sometimes it did feel like they were divorced parents forced to work together to help their helpless, needy "children." And they sadly had a lot of those. "Anyway... I'll go speak to someone in the nexus world later... not like I can trust anyone else to do it." The Goddess of War would probably try to figh tthem, and who knows how the little babies gathered might embarrass themselves? ...As if the High Serenitians were at all inept, but of course, in Nero's mind, everyone was inept except him.

It was hardly a fraction of a second before Nero received a 'mostly' terrifying glare from the insulted goddess. He might of hoped she would of been in the same, tired condition he was after what they did, but not a chance, she was doom itself. Nothing stopped her! That much showed when she bravely shoved her hand forward, directly into Nero's chest, maybe a little harder then she intended, but hey, it only proved how weak he was against her! He would find himself slam back rather perfectly onto the throne with that one shove, while Cosmos's expression remained rather terrifying! "What the heck was that for? Did you just WIPE your hand off? What do you think I am? Anyone would be lucky to have the pleasure of touching me! " That sounded so wrong, clearly not how she meant it, her small brain was rather scary. All that power gifted to such a incompetent mind. "Hmph..Such a stuck up God you are! " She raised her hand, and in it materialize ...a chocolate shake. Just the kind Nero loved! She moved it a little in front of him, only to yank it back and down a good portion of it. "This one is especially SO GOOD..." She teased, stepping away from him, only to cast her attention to the group of High Serenitians, while with her free hand, pointed at herself. "Yeah, I am so much better then him. You are SO welcome! Most of that was me, you know...My power is above this grumpy Wisdom God, I have all power, and streghth. What does he have? Smarts? Ha! So scary! "

Noticing how little that little thing tired out his counterpart caused him to feel some amount of shame. He really was out of shape, wasn't he. ...Well, not really, but it was more so the case she was incredibly in-shape. Her strength was kinda her whole thing, and she was absurdly strong. "Guh!" Nero let out as he was put firmly back into his throne by her shove. This was certainly not the first time she had pushed him around like this, and probably wouldn't be the last. "The most annoying thing in the universe?" He responded dully to her question. Yes, even though she was stronger than him, he obviously didn't even remotely fear her. Their tussles and squabbles were like siblings getting on each other's nerves at this point. She physically bullied him, he mentally bullied her. It was quite the thing they had. "I feel deeply sorry for anyone who you let touch you. Regardless of the context. You're so gross." A beautiful goddess who was in the best possible physical shape, yes, so gross! He reached towards the shake as she pretended to offer it, only for her to take it back and drink a bunch of it at once. Of course. Why did he expect her to show a kind gesture? "I'd warn you about brain freeze if you had a brain to freeze, but I guess that's one advantage of being a a literal gorilla." Very strong, very stupid. That was the gorilla comparison he was making. Leaning against his throne slightly with a sigh as she stepped away, he tapped on his throne's chair, and as he did Cosmos would feel her wrist jolt up a bit too fast. And the result of that would be the remainder of that chocolate shake flying out of the cup and into her face. And probably hair. Whoops. "Goodness, Cosmos, you're such a klutz." He said flatly, standing. "You should watch what you're doing. You made a mess. Clean it up while I'm gone." He took a few steps away from his throne. "I should go meet someone from the nexus world now, I suppose... Hopefully they're at least slightly smarter than my present company."
