Ouch! Ouch! Canoake grimaced as she sat down. Many were still sick and holed up in their weyrs and rooms. Which allowed her some space in the dining room to relax and eat. She tried to pay careful attention to what had been eaten by the sick and for now, was sticking just to basic stew & soups. Between that and trying to stay away from the wine, Canoake was sure she would keep her health.
Minus all the sharding bruises and long cut along her right forearm. It itched, it stung, her arm hurt every time she moved it. But she showed off her wound almost every chance she got--After all, it was not everyday that one took down a traitor and brought him back almost single-handed. There were congratulations and looks of respect that she had never had before. And she loved every single minute of it. Looking around, she thought she noticed a few people from the battle and waved. Why not? Though they had taken injuries of their own, the blows that they struck had been big ones.

Like Canoake Harmony was being cautious with food, she had no intention of becoming one of Trine's victims. Poison. The hypocrisy of it would make her laugh if there weren't people sick and even dying because of it. She was rather sorry that she'd been lurking in reserve on the mission to persuade the rogue gold to join them, she gathered some interesting discussion and attempted justification of actions had gone on before she arrived to join in with the ensuing battle.
Stepping away from the serving hatch with a bowl of vegetable stew and a chunk of bread Harmony scanned for somewhere to sit, and soon enough spotted one of the green riders from the mission waving to her. What was the woman's name again? Can...Canoake? She thought so but she had been briefly introduced to a lot of people recently in preparation for various missions so she couldn't be quite sure.
Shrugging internally she smiled and nodded acknowledgement of the wave - she had her hands full of tray - and crossed the dininghall to join the other woman. "The healers have let you go then?" she asked as she sat down, just a rhetorical question to start the conversation. "It's Canoake, isn't it? I'm Harmony."

"Yes, it is. And well met Harmony. We really didn't get time for introductions last time. Please, take a seat." Canoake smiled happily at the other woman. She looked fairly well after the battle and nodded. "Thankfully, all I had to worry about was stitches on my arm. I am colored splendidly under these clothes though. And you? Your wher and yourself are healing well?"

"Oh yes, barely a scratch," Harmony replied, sitting down and flipping her hair over her shoulder. "We were late into the game though," she added with a displeased 'tut' and a shake of her head. "We would have liked to be with the landing party, but we were assigned to patrol the perimeter rather than negotiate. When things got interesting it took us a while to reach you... must say, if there's one thing dragons do better than whers its get where they need to be quickly." She had lusted after a dragon once upon a time, right up until the moment she aged out in fact. She felt like she'd got the better end of the deal now but that didn't mean there weren't a few things about dragons she envied.
