Canoake was still riding high from the battle with the dragon riders. Her arm was stitched and sore, the other cuts she received shallow enough that they would just have to be slathered with numb weed and oil. But they had done it! Proven a point to all! That the wher holders were not to be trifled with; and while that naive gold and her rider had disappeared, she and Tatath had taken down and captured the traitor! What was S'dekai thinking, turning on their cause?
She shook her head and dressed carefully. There were random bruises on her body and she ached all over. Not necessarily her best look but she would wear them like badges of honor. Humming, she pulled her hair up, hissing at the pain. "I would like to walk, Tatath. Go stretch my legs and let everyone admire me. And you, you can sit lovely and perfect on our ledge. Let the other dragons see what success looks like and hope that they wish to be like you, like us!"
Walking down to the weyrbowl, she held her head high. And why not? To the victor will go the spoils. And Canoake had planned on being spoiled for some time to come. She could only hope that her next chance to show off and impress Keller would not be so violent.

All in all A'nos had escaped the fight at the cothold relatively unscathed. There were some painful cuts up the length of his left arm where the brutish blue rider's barbed lash had coiled around him but other than that the harper was fit and well. Luck or skill? He would probably claim a bit of each if asked, nobody liked a complete braggart but being too modest was a failing too.
Like his rider Acriculeth had escaped with relatively little harm; the sorest thing was the annoyance at having been knocked over - twice! - by that Trine green. Regardless however, he had done his part and both he and his rider were very satisfied with themselves.
Yawning widely Acriculeth peered off the edge of their ledge, and his keen eyes soon caught on Canoake. he observed.
A'nos nodded in reply and climbed up onto his back, holding tight as the bronze dropped into the void.
Acriculeth sent to the green. She was a very pretty green, he minded her company not at all.

Tatath spoke to her rider. Amusement colored her voice as she began to readjust herself to make room for the larger bronze. To Acriculeth, she replied.
"Hmmm," Canoake looked up to see Acriculeth heading down with A'nos. In a way, he was the closest thing to a friend and confident she had though Canoake refused to reveal too muc of herself. Weaknesses were meant to be used to one's advantage. Giving a wave with her good arm, she waited for the pair.

Acriculeth touched down lightly and extended a foreleg, which A'nos slid down casually in order to reach the ground. With his rider deposited the dragon padded away a short distance before taking to the air again, not wishing to buffet His with the downdraft of his wings. he replied to Tatath as he soared up to her ledge. he added approvingly.
A'nos watched his dragon until he'd settled on the ledge, smiling softly to himself. What a terribly beautiful beast he had Impressed! Emphasis on the terrible, and the beautiful equally.
"Canoake," A'nos tore his gaze away from his dragon to regard his fellow rider with a nod, his smile still in place. "How are you healing? You took quite some punishment from those hidebound Trine fools." He would actually have been upset has she died, for all that he didn't trust her or show her all of his true feelings he enjoyed the green rider's company.

Tatath turned her head and looked the bronze over. He didn't seem too worse for wear but one never knew how these things went. She looked down at their humans and rumbled. I am doing better. Sore all over. Canoake is healing as well. The green sighed. It was an interesting battle was it not?
Canoake did her best not to hug A'nos. There was a line, they hadn't crossed it yet... Or had they? She wasn't sure. Either way, the green rider was happy that her companion in arms hadn't been seriously harmed. "I am doing well. My arm itches, I have to be careful with the stitches. Other than that, I am doing well..."
She waited and stepped beside him, looking him over for any serious damage. "And you? That whip thing was horrible. I only had to face a knife and then an angry dragon. Perhaps luck was with me or those lessons helped, who knows?"
