Biography: Born to a normal, albeit military family, he had a fairly normal life, that went well. He was raised around firearms and blades, taking an avid interest in blades, particularly short swords and knives. He practiced with them as soon as he was allowed, also taking fencing lessons. He did remarkably well in his classes also, earning a few awards for his skills. However, things started going downhill when he was 13. His parents got a divorce, his mother moving out of a state, as he stayed with his father. His mother remarried, and his father also found a girlfriend. She was nice, although somewhat unstable. Then, just after Kane's 14th birthday, she eventually drove Kane's father to suicide, which Kane witnessed, and attempted to prevent. Then, near the end of the year, there was a horrible fight between his mother and step father, leaving Kane alone in the world. With a spot of help from a family friend, and some of the inheritance from his parents, Kane was sent to Virtua High.
Personality: Generally a very quiet individual, he speaks rarely. Although, his body language, to those that know him, often convey his thoughts well enough. He also doesn't trust too easy, though once someone gains his loyalty, it will not falter, unless he feels they truly don't deserve it any more. However, he's not as cold as he often seems. He writes poetry in a small notebook he has on him, whenever he's alone and has the time. Though if anyone ever asked about it, he'd deny it and simply say it was a journal. The loss of his parents is believed to be the main cause of his often uncaring attitude, and often sarcastic remarks, when he speaks. Though he can be sincere to those he considers friends. He can also seem sincere when he's trying to get something. He can be rather convincing at times.
