Narrowed eyes greeted him when he finished the brief transference to the Dark Kingdom, the purple crystalline walls with their hard edges and pointed spires seemed more inviting than the rift in the most general of terms, once this small space of a bare handful of rooms had been the ‘kingdom’ over which Queen Beryl ruled, now though, as most people moved purposefully downward into the rift it was only Natron, and the slender frame of the General-King Zinkenite.

“So, I hear you have made yourself –quite- busy of late.” The tone was bland, but that perhaps was not so surprising given whom was addressing him. Thoughts, and feelings were generally kept inside his head, and what little might be made out would be lost for the better part behind the black fabric of his mask.

“The Carnival, and I believe something to do with the POLICE.” He added a particular and curiously pointed emphasis to the last word.

“So I heard, I heard you had a great deal of involvement in…. ‘Dealing with them.’”
He summoned a metal sphere and rolled it back and forth over his hand like a magic trick, it almost seemed to float over his fingers, dancing across his palm and then the back of his hand, darting up to his fingertips and rolling back to his palm like it had a life of its own beyond the gentle motions of his hand.

“Now… given your tone, and your general giddiness, I suspect you are under the misguided impression that your dealings with the police are, in some way, beneficial to us. That the general, over the top publicity that this event shall doubtless receive is a good thing.”

“Yes, I rather got the impression that you thought you were doing a good thing, Unfortunately, as they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Tell me, are you aware of what the Infiltration division does?”

He waited for little more than a shift of expression before adding statements to chase the ‘question’ about the Infiltration division.

“Consider that you’ve made life, rather hard for them. It’s there job to diminish press about us, so far to the point where we have been fundamentally nonexistent. There are, mind you, you-tube videos out there that give our officers a staring roll, but normally as ‘sailor senshi’, do you understand? We do not want to be listed as villains in the eyes of the PUBLIC. We don’t want to be added along side the senshi as ‘public enemy number one’. “

His expression smoothed slightly at least when he continued. “The police are not our enemies, we simply aren’t ready for them to know us yet. They have a hard enough time understanding that the senshi possess abilities that are beyond human, assuming them to be…tricks, slight of hand”


“You will be punished, but I intend to make sure that you learn from your punishment, walk with me.”

He turned and started towards a familiar pillar, it encompassed two bodies, intertwined.

“I want you to do reports for me, once a week, at least…I want you to find someone NEW, some senshi you haven’t met before and fill out a detailed report. I want as much as you can, antagonize or tease them into showing their powers, talk with them, WHATEVER you need to do, but I think antagonizing will suit your…style very well.” He nodded. “Two months of that, you’ll report to me at least once a month with these reports and fill me in directly, on top of filling out the information for our new database.”

He paused, and the pause alone said that there was a second part to your punishment that would only follow after you showed you truly comprehended the punishment so far.

“Secondly, I want you to work with the Infiltration team for at least a month, I recommend finding and talking to Tag Swagger, I think between you, you could learn to turn that enthusiasm of yours into something constructive, even when you get as ‘into your work’ as you did during his…carnival.”

“You can add to your reports what you have learned from them as well, Aggression may be the easiest course of action for you, but it shouldn’t be the only one.”
