He's often frowning and has a book-worm like appearance mostly brought on by the glasses. It often gives people the wrong impression about his personality since he's actually pretty social.
Canton usually wears his uniform, even while helping out around the cafe and while he's usually pretty disheveled, he likes to keep his shoes very clean. You'll often see him with his collar loose, sleeves rolled up, and vest undone.
Personality: Contrary to appearances he's brash and friendly. He's very earnest about what he sets his mind out to do and lazy about everything else, including what topics in schooling that don't apply to his interests. (His mom often scolds him about that.)
He tries to be cool and rebellious but when it comes down to it he's just too obedient for that lifestyle.
Flaws: Tries way too hard to be cool. Short attention span when he doesn't care. Can't clench is left hand very well.
Back Story: Canton grew up nearly living in Portions Cafe with his mother Theodore and his grandfather. He knew his father up until he was about five or six when the man mysteriously vanished from their lives, leaving him the man of the house. (He has the feeling this has something to do with why he can't clench his left hand, but his mother refuses to speak about it.) She did however instill in him the importance of being a policeworker and encouraged him to take up her boots and make it his career, which quickly became his goal in life. Growing up he helped out around the garden and cafe when he wasn't playing in the neighborhood. It actually hasn't been until recent years that he has spent any time working in the family business. Now he helps Elka as an honorary employee, mostly serving meals here and there when he isn't studying in the corner.
After school he has a few friends who come to visit the cafe after class, but his favourite hobby is trailing Police workers. He really wants to skip school and get an early apprenticeship.
At the shop Canton's amicable, but fairly quiet with the guests so that he can get his work down and find a corner to study. He has a not-so-secret crush on Elka that most people seem to notice pretty quickly. Yes, she's older, but she's also very pretty. And like most things, he wants to rush to grow up and appreciate the finer things. (Some people just call this puberty.)
Talents and Skills: Canton is okay in combat and is only fair in his studies. He does have a surprisingly green thumb though and makes up for his mother killing their gardens.
Canton is great at whistling and is also very good with animals. He's never had a pet though since his Theodore hates animals.
