The Water is way to cold to row a boat over to the guild. This is why this guild is the most defensive guild in Crystalux. Its icy waters keep enemies away at bay, and for the guild members who want to exit and enter the guild, there is a secret passage way: A warm and protected, underground, steel but glass hard tunnel seeps under the guild and to the other side. The guild members will exit out of a cave which has burning blue fire inside of it to light the way. Also, that fire is a healing fire so if any guild members are hurt, the fire will automatically heal the body... This only will be achieved if the body of the injuries has the guild emblem on their body. If not, nothing will be healed.

The landscape was always changing with heaps of fresh snow, new and old, barring the passage entrance. It was no great difficulty to find the tunnel, though it had been completely snowed in for the duration of time that Steele had been away for. The snow was hard-packed and pockmarked from hundreds of little footprints, but thin enough for Steele to carve an entrance out of it. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate to say that for destruction ice, is also great and would suffice. The stanza ran through his mind as he worked his way through the drift. For the entrance marked the old site of a battle, and in the ruins and ashes of destruction, a pathway to a future was built. It was one reason he would never forget the way; follow the snow to the ruined town, and mark the place between the two towers.

His digging gave way to a soft glow, where the underground tunnel shone silvery blue. Steele stepped silently inside, hearing the soft thump of snow bury the entrance again. His leg was beginning to pain him and his shoulder stung from the cold, numbed a little but still bleeding profusely. The little black bird hopped off Steele's shoulder, gave a half-hearted flap of its wings, before picking its way through the translucent tunnel and giving up midway through. It cawed impatiently, flapped back to perch on the bleeding limb, and pecked softly at the wound. "Hurryfast. Hurryhurry, hurry," it urged. Steele complied as best he could, dragging his permanently injured right leg along in his effort. Steel scraped the floor, leaving long, light gash marks, so the man heaved the blade onto his good shoulder. The weight didn't help his progress any, but he could see the cold blue flame that marked the entrance already. The crow, sensing victory, flew ahead through the flame, disappearing around the next corner with a delighted caw. Steele forced himself on into the cave, and walked into the blue fire right leg first. It took him a while to stem the bleeding from his shoulder, but when it was finally done, he resumed his normal brisk limping pace.

The interior was very much the same as the outside, and larger than he'd remembered. Steele had spent such a long time outdoors that he relished the openness of nature and strayed away from the indoors. Now, though, he was content to seat himself in one of the couches and glance around at the confines of the glassy walls. In the flat surfaces, his crow's image was reflected a thousand times over, as if he had cast one of his summon spells right then and there. With a playful hop, the animal moved onto his arm and paraded up and down, up and down, while preening and fluffing its feathers.

Abruptly, it stopped, cocked its head to one side, and cawed loudly, before proceeding to peck at its own belly, and failing miserably. With a jolt, the man realised just how long he'd gone on for without a meal, and that realisation brought an ache to his empty stomach. With a resigned sigh, Steele scooped up the black bird and began to search the pantry for any food. He was never one for cooking, but the situation demanded it. For the bird, he hacked off a few small chunks of raw meat, watching him devour it greedily before settling into the rafters with a sound of satisfaction. With his characteristic apathy, he set the rest of the meat on a pan and watched it sizzle.

After his meal of steak and stale bread, the man made his way slowly to his office. The door clicked open, revealing a table piled high with papers, booklets, and stationery. It looked like he hadn't been wrong about Alex and his workload. Wanting nothing more than to drop onto his couch and take a good, long nap, he laid the sword on the nearest couch instead. Perhaps, if he finished his work quickly, he could try the weapon out in one of the practise room - certianly something to look forward to.

For now, Steele kicked back and grabbed a sheaf of papers, lounging on the hard chair to try and decipher the words. Most of them had been notices and the like, nothing of importance at all, but a pamphlet printed in gaudy colours and fancy lettering jumped out at him. Dream High Magic Games. He didn't even bother to read the rest. The paper fell, crumpled and torn, into the nearest bin, and Steele resumed his work, only slightly mindful of the glint of his stolen blade beside him.

Decrepify

Crush | Rank B
Steele casts one devastating burst-type spell that damages everything within a 1-metre radius of the area hit.

Slow Mutilation | Rank A
Steele casts a fistful of burst-type spells in quick succession, deeply wounding the opponent in the direct areas that are hit. The areas that were hit will heal over time, but as the wounds disappear, the slowing effects of the spell will set in.

Decrepify | Rank C
Steele casts a sustain-type spell that latches onto the opponent and damages over time, healing Steele. Anyone who walks into the invisible link between Steele and the victim will take damage. An interesting feature of this link is that the victim will begin to feel pain, and eventually, something to the effect of their right leg been broken. This effect will last from a few hours to a few days, determined by the length of the attack. Though the victim experiences no physical damage after the link is broken, they will be weakened and slowed, and will often have a limp for a time after the attack.

Gibbet Break

Blind Chase | Rank A
Steele summons a crow to chase his opponent and constantly attack and harrass them. Opponents attacked by the crows are more prone to other "Gibbet Break" attacks as they have been marked. This is a "summon" type spell.

Gibbet Break | Rank B
Steele summons a murder of crows to rush his opponent, obscuring said opponent's vision. The crows will attack simultaneously and from all directions if left unchecked. As this is just a "summon" type spell and not a "sustain" type spell, it does not require as much stamina.

Vortex | Rank A
Steele summons a murder of crows to fly around him in a vortex, drawing opponents in. The vortex extends to a ten-metre radius and crows can break off from the main group to attack fleeing opponents. This is a "sustain" type spell.
