Out on his own, running away, knowing he is sick, knowing he didn't know the first thing in survival, well. One could say, he was a little scared. Being a piebald leopard meant having the same genetic issues as an albino. He sun burned easily, his sight wasn't at all up the par with his species, and to top it off. He couldn't make full strides, and fall short because of his constant confinement and never learning endurance. While others of his old pride would make him feel worthless, the roguelands he thought would be the way to live his life. What he didn't know, was how hard it was to be alone. Running constantly from the sun. Hunting. He never learned this, and resorted to eating leftovers from other animals. Barely scraping by, and majority of the time chased away. This was hard, and he about had it.
His body was pushed to its limits when a lion encountered him trying to nab a bite from bones that were left over. His chest felt like it could explode, his blood pumped enough that he couldn't hear anything else and his body fell forward on to a long plains. The sun ailed his body but without food nor water for days now.... He could just be left for dead.

Lume needed to be away from all of the commotion in his family. There were some things that he drew the line on having to deal with. And sure, he was being a bit of a jerk by just taking off like he did, but whatever. Lume would bring back something for everyone to eat. That usually earned his mother's forgiveness. The leotah sighed dramatically, letting his paws drag a little bit on the ground. He was too tired to do any of his usual fun stuff, do. No, it looked like he was going to have to just find somewhere nice and quiet to curl up and nap for a little bit. Now that he thought about it a little more, Lume didn't think that would be so bad. The male needed a little more calm and relaxtion in his life at the current moment in time. Yeah, that would be perfect. Lume could take the next few days to just chill. No adrenaline, no effort, no exertion. Just some nice peaceful rest so that he could recharge a little. In fact, the male didn't even want to see another soul! It would be good to have some alone time. So when Lume caught sight of a body lying out in the middle of the grass, seemingly lifeless, he absolutely did not sigh in exasperation, because that would have been rude and very much insensitive. The male glanced at the body with a frown. He could just leave, but then his conscious would never let him live it down. Lume was an adrenaline junkie and an occasional a*****e, not a heartless feline with no soul. His mother had raised him better than that. So much for his peaceful retreat, it seemed. Ears flat against his head, the leotah trotted over to the body, glaring at it warily. As he grew closer, Lume could see that the leopard was still breathing. He nudged the other male's back with his paw, making a face as he addressed the stranger. "Hey buddy, you wanna get up or something? Not sure it's a good idea to lie around out in the open like this."
