This is Frankie and Sheba.
Both are altered males that are indoor kids.
Yes, they are fat.

This is Bear.
He was my first kitty.
He passed away prematurely

and it was my fault.
He was poisoned by a lily.
It's been over a year but my guilt still haunts me...
I'm so sorry.

sad You have my condolences. My friend had adopted a 4 month old kitten who passed away 2 months later due to FIP. Its never easy to lose one so soon. It just proves that anything can happen.

I just wish I would have known. It's a horrible way to learn that lesson. T.T Needless to say I don't bring flowers into my home and if I do I check it out.

Thats right. Lillies. sad I remember when you posted about it. I dont have flowers because of my allergies, but my Mister is perfectly capable of eating something he shouldnt and thus requireing a vet visit so Im pretty a**l about picking stuff up.

Im sure that it was a complete accident and now you can warn others about the dangers of flowers. Your boys are so lovely and though they dont feel fill the void, they help it along to heal.

Such a beautiful pair! And they are a bit plump, but I've seen fatter! (This morning, in fact, at the cat rescue).

Have you got a male there with red and black genes, or is it just a trick of the light?

Thank you. :3 I've never seen a coloring quite like him! And he has eyes that are so light blue they're almost white.

He's rather stunning!

Isn't it funny how most cats fit into neat colour classifications, and then there'll suddenly be one that leaves everyone flailing and trying to work out what colour it is! There's a girl at the local cat rescue that I keep trying to decide her colour, and I still haven't reached a conclusion - I guess your boy is another! xd

So where did you get these two beautiful boys?

Rescue kitties for the win. heart

But what does a feral cat rescue mean exactly? Are these two former ferals? Or former feral kittens, at any rate?

From what I understood, they had them both since they were kittens. They had told me all of Frankie's litter had died from a virus that only he survived. He has a funny eye as a result. Not sure what it could have been though. I would never adopt from that agency again though.
