The stallion enjoyed the deep forests, the close growing trees, the sound of the wind above him rustling the leaves, and the scent of the vegetation all around him. The sunlight lanced down through the tree canopy, and as he walked along, it dappled across his coat.
He didn't have any particular destination in mind that day, just wandering along enjoying the forest and thinking..well, not particularly deep thoughts it had to be said, but he didn't have any problems in his life, and so what was there to ponder?
His little tail flicked as he walked. Maybe there was a small thing that would add an extra spring in his step. Kuusamo was craving company, preferably a pretty face, but as it'd been days since he'd spoken to someone else, anyone would do really. He'd only recently travelled down from the mountain area, wanting to spend the summer in a warmer clime, and as yet he'd not met anyone from the area.
He wondered if it was perhaps because he was so deep in amongst the trees, and with that thought in mind, he changed direction and started to head for the edge of the forest, though he went at his same leisurely pace as before, strolling along until the trees became further apart and thinned out. Slipping from out behind a large fir, he walked slowly out onto the open plain, looking around to see who was about, before deciding to graze for a while, wandering slowly around as he ate.
