It was early morning when the silver and white leopon slipped away from the cave she shared with her friend Mako. She looked like a whisp of fog, or a spirit as she slowly padded along in the low morning light. Her eyes were as silver as the markings on her body, giving her a ethereal appearance. Snow white ears flicked back and forth as she followed the sounds around her.

It was very, very rare to find the female on her own. As a princess, she shouldn't be anywhere without a guard. Even when she didn't want the company of a guard, Sho was generally never seen without Mako, one of her mothers or her beloved sisters to guide her. Everyone in the pride knew the leopon on sight, knew her quiet ways, her sweet smile, her willingness to do anything that was needed....and her disabilities. Outside of the pride, she wouldn't have lasted long, as it was she often felt like she was a drain on her pride, unable to give back anything of value.

Sighing softly, Shoshanda stopped when she smelt the last markers of her pride's claim. It was the furthest she had ever been on her own.
