The Day of Silence is April 26. Anyone's school taking part in it. I'm going to be in a video advertisement for mines. So we can get people to join in. Here's the site if you don't know what it is.

Cool. We were going to get some kind of rainbow bracelets and stickers. But we deciceded sense we're going to have straight people involved and plan to get as much of the school involved as possible, we picked a solid color. Last year we got one-third of the school support. Even teachers were involved and the Annoucements were done on a board and shown on video to avoid sound. biggrin

That's cool. It kinda sucks living in a conservative town (the schoolboard and whatnot) but some of the teachers are really accepting!

*Plans not to move to Europe in the future*
Well, anyone can participate, so long as you understand the message.
(Question which has arisen just now) It's kind of rhetorical, but will we be able to post on the Day of Silence? xd

If I can get off of work the 26'th then I will participate. otherwist, work is going to keep me from it for the entire day. Yes I work at a gas station and HAVE to talk to people ALL F****** day long. But the pay is ok, so I don't mind so much.

I'll be participating (A friend who goes by the Gaia Username Kahri would kill me if I didn't... stare ) but I'm gonna have to be fudging a little bit. I can keep my mouth shut concerning my fellow students, but If I just flash a little piece of paper explaining why I'm not talking to my parents/teachers, it could result in some nasty conciquences... Damn Oregon Cowboys. You'd think there would be some "Brokeback's out there, but noooooooooooooooo, our stupid state made its views on homosexuality clear when it passed a vote making Gay Marrage Illegal... confused
((Whoops. Tangent. Sorry. sweatdrop ))

Im not worried about who finds out at school, if I participate myself, but my mom, etc.
If she finds out the reasons I wouldnt be talking, bad stuff would happen. sweatdrop
