Mikey had a lot of hobbies. He loved music, and collecting pins and other obscure things. But the hobby he loved most of all was relaxing. Sprawling out, lounging and doing nothing; he could do it all day. Therefore, he was definitely ready to hit up the springs, sauntering jauntily along the forest trail with his board shorts on and towel tucked beneath his arm.
His tail wagged happily, and he wiped his brow a bit, the air was warm but not unpleasantly so. On his arrival, however, his gaze drifted to something that made him want to pant even more than the temperature. A ghoul was swimming in the spring already, the water gliding over her beautiful form.
Hairwolf stared, his jaw hanging for a moment. What a babe. Then he promptly dropped his towel, and jumped in.

Amphi had often come to the springs to swim an sing. It was more secluded in the woods then the lake was, and offered a privacy intimate to the small pools.
Underneath the water was like heaven, refreshing and sweet. Clear. Not clouded by underwater animals or the murkiness of sea life. Just cool rock walls and sunshine.
At least that's what she thought, until the water rippled with disturbance and had her head popping up at a very large...puppy...looking student came in. And to be more apt, he hadn't waddled in, but dove head first.
Maybe while he wasn't looking, she could just...swim over to shore and sneak out.
Maybe...Well first she had to swim around him.
"Um...."

He surfaced, the flip of his hair sending water spraying in all directions. Once it settled on his head, it’s volume almost all but diminished; he was left looking like a very soggy doggy. Fortunately for him, and unfortunately for the ghoul, he was in her way. He gave her wide grin, dog paddling in place. "Hey," he smouldered, giving her his most alluring look. “Swim here often?”

Amphi is very confused.
So very confused. Especially by the water flipped hair, gosh his hair was even as long as hers. She wondered how he kept it so stiff and...oh nope...there it went.
"I'm sorry....?" she blanked as she looked at him, stuck on figuring out how his hair went from BOOM to Eh. She had forgotten that she was going to escape. And then he was like...eying her.
Weirdly. Was he like puckering his lips?
"Um, Are you okay? This water doesn't get swam in often so if your not use to its..." She flushed and then tried to paddle around him, the rocks under didn't quite give her enough space to swim around him. "I...Ah often come here to sing...and it is more quiet here..." it was not polite to be rude soo....." Do you...come here often? Mr. Puppy."

"Oh I'm fine - Wait a minute, you sing? I sing too! I bet you have a gorgeous set of lungs on you, totally awesome man." He was still grinning, and staring, but the fact that she sang elevated her from merely a babe to total knockout. It also earned her a little more respect and a little less horndog. He scratched the back of his head idly, thinking. "Uh, naw, I don't really come here a lot, quiet doesn't suit me so well, I like noise, lots of it. But it's good for unwinding." It dawned on Mikey that she may have just tried to scoot past him, and he frowned suddenly, giving her a puppy-dog expression. "You're leaving? So soon? But I just got here, and it would be so lonely hangin' by myself. Why don't you stick around, maybe we can do a duet," he said, the grin slowly sliding back into place.

"Uh yes, I sing." She was starting to blush furiously, kicking her tail so she seemed a bit taller. "I'm not really good, compared to my sister..." Who had passed but still..."I've heard that it sounds good..."
She was no judge of her own singing to be fair.
And he was staring, and she was fidgeting in the water, making small splashes and such.
"Um...You remind me of my...friend. My old ex boilfriend. He liked to party and such." She nodded, addressing that he was of course now put on the partier level with Roch.
And then puppy dog eyes. jack. She couldn't do puppy dog eyes. She wasn't strong like that.
"I was...okay. I won't leave..." She swam around him now, looking at him closely. Her head may have ducked under to see his tail and such but...
"Your ears...and your tail..." She flushed, "They are very adorable. My name is Amphi." And as you could see...She was a mermaid. Yay!

“Oh, no, I’m sure your voice is heavenly,” he crooned at her, pleased that she’d decided to stay. “Ain’t nothing like the company of a lovely lady who can sing.” Mikey watched as she swam around him, twisting his upper body a little to follow her inspection. Her words went straight to his ego, and he wagged his tail happily, splashing it against the water. Not that it had ever stopped wagging, but it was definitely doing so more vigorously now. “Thanks, doll. Ah, I mean, Amphi~,” he said, saying her name in a singsong voice. “Nice to meet ‘ya! I take it you’re here a lot?”

"Ah you are very nice..." She squeaked, "Ah...you are also very flirty aren't you..." She flushed, wringing her hands together so that she didn't go over to pet his ears and his tail and because puppies were her weakness.
"I do!" She stilled in the water, her ear fins perking. "Like I said, Its quiet. And I've come here so often, I know which pool leads to another pool. What about you? I haven't seen you around Amity...Are you a student?"

He grinned when she called him nice, and he grinned even wider when he called her flirty. “Busted,” he laughed, letting himself sink onto his back in the water. He floated happily along happily, tilting his head so he could still see her. “It’s hard to not to flirt with such a pretty ghoul around,” he winked, rolling over into his stomach and dogpaddling. “It’s nice and quiet, very relaxing. I’ve never been here before; I’m new to Amity. You’ll have to show me all the little secrets.”

Amphi cocked her head before mirroring him. Laying on her back and tilting her head to look at him. She even swam perpendicular to him, so that they could lay on their backs together.
"You keep complimenting me like that and I don't think I am so pretty..." She pushed with her hands, gliding along. She didn't turn though as he started to dog paddle, just curiously watch him. "I don't know if you want me to show around, I get lost a lot. I am not the brightest ghoul around...or so I have been told...."
Because people made sure to tell her of the things she didn't understand.

“That’s a shame you can’t see what I can, doll, you’re absolutely stunning. I’d be honored to have such a rockin’ tour guide. ‘Sides,” he added, knocking the side of his head playfully, treading water gently with his other hand to stay afloat. “No genius here. Pretty sure its mostly just air in there.”

"Ah you're making me blush Mikey." She flushed, looking away so he didn't see just how red her face had really gotten. "Okay! Then we should go now!" She dipped her lower half down, swimming to the shore. Sliding out of the water, she used her FEAR to dry off faster.
Once done, her tail split, shimmering into small pale legs. The scales of her form disappeared and she stood in a all white bikini waving at him. "Come on Mr. Mikey! We can go and try to tour the school...." She turned and looked around, searching the ground. "Oh, okay now we can go!" A sweatshirt was thrown over her bathing suit and zipped up.

“Nothing to blush over, it’s the truth after all pretty lady.” He stared as her glittering tail split in two, revealing legs that led to white bikini bottoms. It took a moment before Mikey could tear himself away from the rest of her outfit to answer, and in the end, the sweatshirt came heroically to his rescue. Mikey gave himself a little shake, bending to picked up his towel and tousle it over his hair. Seemed a shame to cover up so much, he thought to himself at the sight of the sweatshirt but the boil kept his thoughts to himself, simply grinning and draping the damp towel over his shoulders. “Okay then, Amphi, where to?”

Luckily for Mikey, the day was hot and the fully zipped hoodie eventually ended up about halfway, at least revealing the top part. Oddly enough, Amphi didn't feel shy about it, slipping her feet into the glowing boots she had.
And if he was staring at her, well she was staring at his ears. She wanted to pet them...just a little.
"Um...We should start with the uh....main grounds?" She looked away because their might be a bad case of EAR MOLESTATION and headed away from the small pool. and then came back because she had rushed away without him, "It'll be better if you hold my hand cause If i get lost, At least you'll still be there!" She held her hand out for him, flushing.
"I mean...if you....don't....mind...." Her voice got a lot smaller at the end.

Mikey only had to slip his feet into his flip-flops, and he nodded at her suggestion. Main grounds seemed as good as any to him. The tour part was more of a bonus, anyhow, to the privilege of spending time in a pretty ghoul’s company. She started off ahead of him, and when she made her way back, he quirked a brow at her. When she offered her hand, his amused expression only grew, but he accepted it happily, slipping his larger hand into hers. “I’d never mind holding hands with someone like you. Especially since you’re kind enough to show me around and everything.” He shifted the towel on his shoulders a little with his free hand, and grinned at her. “Alright, lead the way, Amphi. ”
