Although Lasarra was fond of her sisters, not all of her sisters were all that fond of her. Most of them didn't even realize she was one of them, even though her eyes were undeniably those of an Alkidike. All was well though. They lived on the outskirts of Andile and as long as Lasarra didn't bother anyone she was fine. It helped that although her mother did have a child with a shifter she was still a respected warrior.
Today Lasarra was out in the forest hunting. Although she wasn't so sure about what path she would take, she did have some skill with a bow. Her father had brought back these hand things, he called them gauntlets, but she didn't think they were any good for hunting. For now she would just stick to the bow and arrows, they were what she knew and what she was use too.
With an arrow ready to fire if she needed it Lasarra walked around silently looking for some prey to bring home.

Kaalnia hadn't left the isles in a while, and she was starting to think that that had been a mistake and she should have travelled to Andile a long time ago. See, you didn't have cute halfbreeds like this one on the isles. She was tracking the antennaeless woman for a while. It wasn't that she was wondering how to approach her or if she should approach her. Kaalnia knew how, and knew she was going to. The key was timing. She was an expert at this picking up chicks thing, you see. She had it down to an art. Sure she hadn't picked up anybody yet, but it was just a dry spell, right. Everybody had them. She knew what she was doing! And what a gorgeous beauty this one was! She hadn't thought she might be attracted to a halfbreed though evidence suggested she was attracted to anything female and available who weren't her mothers or Briella. But seriously! Black was a sexy color! It looked good on anything! Whoa, though, Kally she said to herself, Hold your radakus. You don't even know her name. Stop ogling her a** and talk to her. She grinned. She headed a bit ahead, trying to find a clearing to 'conveniently' meet up with the strange mixbreed. She was heading this way anyway, after all. Finding one, she stepped in and made herself conspicuous. Did she have any flowers? No? s**t. Well, she didn't need flowers. Not when she was Aisha's gift to women! The moment she saw Lasarra she flipped her antennae and hair in a way she thought was impressive. "Heeeey, pretty lady. How's the hunting going?"
Nailed it!

Lasarra kept walking, listening for anything that could be considered prey. She heard some noises, but they sounded to big to be anything she would take down by herself. At once she found herself in a clearing with one of her sisters. She froze at once. She didn't know this sister, and for all she knew she could not like halfbreeds, there were enough of them that it was a chance. However when she flipped her hair and antennae and called Lasarra pretty she knew that this sister wasn't like that. She smiled politely.
"Hello yourself. So far I haven't got anything, but then again I haven't been out very long." she said with a smile. "I'm Lasarra sister, it's nice to meet you. I haven't seen you around Andile, are you new?" she asked curiously. Of course sisters came and went, but Lasarra made it a point to try and remember as many faces as she could. That way she knew who she could talk to and who it was a good idea to avoid. She realized that this girl had called her pretty, and from what she had seen from others she seemed to be flirting with Lasarra. But that couldn't be right. Who would flirt with her?

Woooo, this was going well. she hadn't gotten herself slapped yet! Which was a plus, considering. "Lassara..." she let the name roll off her tongue, "It's a beautiful name, so of course it fits you well." she winked, "I wonder if it's the name or the lady that makes it so nice" she leaned away from the tree. "Well anyway, I'm Kaalnia, usually from sunny and sweet Ekene. I thought I was visiting my sister" She approached with a rakish, friendly grin, "But now I think that fate wanted to make sure I saw your beautiful face." And other parts. Which she wasn't going to mention because complimenting those parts had gotten her slapped in the face so many times that even Kaalnia got the point.
Her line needed work (lots and lots and lots of work) but it was a damn good flirtation, if she did say so herself.

She smiled and laughed when Kaalnia winked at her and said her name was beautiful. So she was flirting! This had never happened to Lasarra before, and she mentally made a note not to mess up. What did she do? She wasn't looking for any kind of relationship, and wasn't that what flirting was for? Then again maybe this sister was just flirting for fun. Yes, it had to be that. Then there would be no problem in flirting back.
"Oh is it fate that brings you here? Maybe fate decided that I was a lousy hunter and that I needed help from a powerful sister." she said with a coy smile. Well if she was flirting then two could play that game.

Kaalnia laughed. "Awww, I'm sure you're a great hunter. Maybe Fate wanted me to witness your unmatched grace and power! You know, along with everything else." she said with a wink, "What are you hunting anyway, Lovely Lasarra? Anything specific?" What she said was an innocent question, but the way she said it almost seemed to imply another, more flirtacious meaning.

Lovely Lasarra? This was so new and fun! "Maybe, but since I have yet to catch anything I think my thought is more likely to be correct." she said with a flirty smile. Maybe she would get help hunting and learn more about flirting all at the same time!
When Kaalnia asked what she was hunting she shrugged. "Nothing in particular kind Kaalnia." mentally Lassara face palmed. Kind Kaalnia? Who was she? That had to be the worst attempt at flirting in the whole of Tendaji. Hopefully Kaalnia wouldn't leave after that comment.

"Aww, well you only just started! There's still... time." she moved closer- not too close just yet because sometimes sisters could get very angry about their personal space and bruises were ugly... heh. "And I can help" she smiled, an honest and friendly if not completely innocent smile, "In any way you want!" She nodded. It was hard to make up your mind sometimes and hey, you never knew what you would run into. "Well, then, maybe you found it." Wait. Waaaaait. Had she gone too far on that one? Oooo, that would be a gaf. "Or we have yet to look!" there! That should fix things! She was liking Lasarra more and more, besides the fact that her name was lovely had had a nice sound to it. Play flirting or not, it was more of a time of day than some sisters would give her and she took what she could get!

Lasarra smiled. "I'd appreciate the help, any kinda of help you feel willing to offer." she said suggestively with a light laugh. "So Kaalnia, you plan on picking the spear as your weapon?" she asked curiously with one raised eyebrow. From what her mother had told her the weapon you chose told a lot about you. However she couldn't remember what her mother had told her about the spear and those who wielded it...

"You'll have to give me some specifics! I can do lots and lots of things! All awesome, of course!" She said, strutting slightly, "I'll help you in any way you desire, lovely." so it hadn't been a gaff! The spear question came out of nowhere, but she didn't miss a beat. She rarely got far enough with sisters to even get to that question, heh. Most beat her the hell up before she could finish hello- not that that wasn't sexy too! "Yep! I love the spear! It's great to dance with AND practical!" she said, striking a pose with with her training spear, "I plan on putting all sorts of trinkets on it, just for show!" she put her hands on her hips, the picture of friendly, open, and- she hoped- seductive. "What about you? What weapon are you thinking of going for?"

Dance? Well that was new. Most sisters that were fully Alkidike didn't like to do anything more than fight. They weren't taught to do anything more. The choices that they had were what weapon they would wield while fighting, not much more. Sure they did other things, but dancing was normally just for ceremonies and not much more.
"You dance? And with the spear? I bet once you have the trinkets on it that will be a sight to see." she complicated. When she was asked what weapon she was going for Lasarra frowned for a second and than her smile came back. "I'm not sure, I really want to use a whip and be a beast tamer, but I also want to make my mother proud. If I chose the path of an amazon I will wield the bow."

"Aww yeah, I dance, with spear, without spear..." she stopped herself from saying 'without clothes too' because that was just silly and classless and she, Kaalnia, had CLASS. "I could show you if ya wanted!" she said, very close now, but relaxed.
"Bow, huh? That's pretty cool. Always nice to have a bowwoman at your back, right?" Kaalnia's grin made what she said have two meanings, but she meant both. Though, at her literal back in the innuendo sense was just... any woman. And it didnt have to be at the back just... Yeah. Damn, Lassarra was hot.
Then the other part of what Lassarra had said hit her. "Wait. Whip?" it was a rare thing for the cool Kaalnia to blush, but she did. She was sure that the other girl meant whips, like in the weapon sens,e but she couldn't help thinking of... other uses... No, damn it Kaa, class, remember you have class! "Well, uh..." she started, momentarily caught off her game, "Look, lovely, you should do what ya want to do, right? Your ma'll be proud of you for most anything, I bet!" she said, trying to get back on track. Well, Mother Aisha was proud of all her daughters (and should be, with how gorgeous they turned out, heh heh) but the alkidike mothers could be trickier. Kaalnia had just stopped bothering to care what her parents thought. She was proud of herself, and she liked her opinions best. "So you like critters?" she asked, changing the subject.

"I'd love to see you dance!" she said clasping her hands together in excitement. It was rare that you saw dancing unless it was for some kind of festival, and if Kaalnia was offering than Lasarra would take her up on that offer!
She smiled and nodded, both at the bowwoman comment and the question about the whip. When she said that Lasarra's mother would be proud of her she laughed. "Yes you are right, my mother will be very proud of me as long as contribute to our society in some positive way."
When Kaalnia asked if she liked critters she nodded again, wow she was sure agreeing a lot. "Yes I love them! It's always fun to teach them new tricks, or even tame the untameable. I get a rush from it, I've always known I wanted to work with them. It's just hard living in an alkidike settlement wanting to do something different, even if I'm only half."

"Yeah, I'd imagine its hard to not be going a traditional route, but ya know? Our sisters need to loosen up." She grinned, delighted at the positivity, "Thats the spirit!" she said, "Your ma's going to be proud of you, and your going to be proud of you, and thats gonna be great!" she gave Lasarra a pat on the shoulder.
She winked, drawing back, "And just to celebrate how you feel right now, I'm gonna show you some dancing like you've never seen before!" said Kaalnia, giving herself some space for a spear dance. She did a little bit of dance twirling, her hair whipping around her like leaves in a storm, a little bit of fancy complicated footwork, a little playing with the spear, some other fun movements before, in a sudden twirl, she was back at Lasarra again. Somehow she managed not to look absurd.
"So, beautiful, wanna go for a whirl with me and teach me some new tricks?" she offered her hand to Lasarra, "I bet you're a fine dancer" what with those legs of hers. Not that Kaalnia was aiming for anything more than dancing. She loved dancing, and the other stuff you didn't rush. That wasn't fair. "And you can tell me all about untamable beasts!"
