A yawn escaped the muzzle of a wild dog named Myrna, a storyteller, or Sheha, of a pride she calls her home, family, friends, identity, life, known as Nchi'Mahadhi. She left the area for a bit because of that weird vision she had. Everything above her and around her were exactly the same, all that was left was the figure to appear. She remembered the figure was the shap of a wild dog as well, but black and shady because the visions usually do that when their visions about meetings with her. With a sigh, she just laid there and kept a watch of the area. It was a vast plain of green grass, a large tree in the center with a dug up circle around it with water in it an a dirt pathway, the circle being 6 feet deep, and fireflies swarmed the tree.

The starry sky and full moon were in the vision, so she was right to leave week ago. Then she remember that voice; it was a masculine voice that was going to tell its name till she woke up that one morning, the day she left, since that was its cut-off point. Starting to hum a bit, she decided to sing a bit, as she always did when alone. "I watch the stars glow in the black veil of night. The moon shines brightly, as it lights up the land. All the animals you'd see at day lay their heads and drift away. I sing out to the vast black sky with white lights. I watch the nightly breeze blow through the darkened greens of our home. Watching the tree sway from the night's wind, that is what you'd call Our Night."

She sung out, it as soft as fur and as sweet and gentle as honey. She didn't mind how the others back home complimented her voice, just she felt bad that she doesn't like to sing in crowds.

I thought quoting on it was. Plot it took a lot of time just to make this. Time is crazy.

Tomar wasn't usually the one to like night time, but he imagined he couldn't run from it forever. He also wasn't the type to let his fear get the better of him. Okay, the dark was uncomfortable and long and he didn't have the best eyesight in the first place, so the darkness only made things harder to discern for him, but that didn't mean he had to be afraid, right? It was only horrifying not knowing where one was, who was in front of him, or how he was going to get home.

Nothing to worry about at all.

Sighing to himself, he ventured along his path, coming to a stop when he heard someone singing. Following the voice, he spotted a female, smiling lightly to himself at the sight. Good... someone else. And not someone malicious, it seemed.

"Hello," he offered lowly, sitting himself down not far from her, "I hope I'm not interrupting your song or anything- I was just pleased to find someone else out here."

Her ears twitched as she heard a male voice, one that matched the one in her vision. Standing up, she noticed the male and knew; this was the one she was supposed to meet. "Good evening. May i know your name?" She asked, seeing if she is right, to see if he is the correct one. Walking a bit closer, she remembered that a good soul must always greet with their names first, or so she was taught. "Pardon my manners. My name is Myrna." She said with a smile, giving a small bow to the greeting. Standing up straight after giving the bow, her ears twitched again as she watched him, her pink eyes bright. She wondered who he was, though, making her curious.

She saw the fireflies buzzing to the ground, lighting up the grass with their smallish lights, but it was only half of them. The other half kept the tree lit up, as they did every night.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Myrna," The wild dog said lightly, watching her as she moved closer. He wasn't the type to feel threatened by others, male or female, so he wasn't inclined to look tense or back away from her. He smiled warmly at her, offering a bow of his head in greeting.

"I do not meet many wild dogs in these areas," he said faintly, "my name is Tomar. I live in these lands, and I like to travel from place to place. Tell me, my friend, what brings you out here at such an odd hour? I don't mean to pry, but it can be dangerous for you to be here where so many lions roam and care nothing for our kind." He smiled still, though there was concern on his face.

He didn't want her to think he was trying to be creepy- he just wanted to make sure she was being safe.

Looking at him, she moved her feet to the side and looked at him. "I am out her because i knew you were coming to this spot at night and we would cross paths and meet. As for lions, i live in a place that has mostly lions so i do not fear them at all." She said softly as she raised her paw as a firefly at on it, blinking its light. Her pink eyes looked at him, feeling peaceful in this place and she moved her feet to her side and watched the firefly move on. "Its alright if you feel confused and a bit nervous when i said i knew you would pass by here and meet me, but it is true. Like these fireflies, i am different, but i know what i have is a gift and i'm not the only one with it, so i know i am not alone." She said as she spoke softly, the stars bright as she turned her sight to the sky, but not her attention. No, her attention was on the fireflies and the male, so she returned her sight to them.

"You knew we would meet here so you came out here to meet me? Well I guess if you already knew, making sure it happened wouldn't be out of the question... but how did you know I would be here?" He watched her, tilting his head to one side. She said it was okay to feel nervous and confused, but he wasn't sure he was actually feeling either of those things.

"Actually, I'm just feeling a bit curious," he chuckled lightly, "I've seen many strange things in my life, my dear, so it is not really in my character to be disturbed by them anymore. Each new thing I learn makes me feel a little bit happier, in fact." He gave a nod for himself, sure he was making sense. At least enough of it to get his point across. Sometimes his mind had a tough time catching up with his mouth.

Too eager to share.

"What kind of gift is it that you have? Do you see visions, like some of the other animals I've met? One even called himself a 'seer'."

"You could call it that. And yes, i can see things in the past which leads to it restarting in another's life, i can see the present in order to help others make their lives better, and i can see the future in order to lead those that are involved to live for another day." She said and smiled as she sighed and laid down in her side, looking at the fireflies. "Sometimes, it comes to me in my dreams at unexpected times. Last week, while i slept, i had a vision of this meeting and it became reality. The reason behind it, though, i don't know of." She said and huffed as she laid on her stomach once more and looked at him, wondering if he had an idea of why their meeting was determined by her vision.

Tomar smiled.

"Do you think there was some greater meaning to this meeting? That your vision has a purpose behind it? What if the vision was simply that- a glimpse that we would be meeting. This happy circumstance could be no deeper than that, don't you think?" it was something worth thinking about, he supposed. It meant he had a already met her in her dreams. How interesting. To think things were planned. Or maybe they weren't. Maybe it was something else.

There was no way of knowing what was really behind the power of a seer, and that was the most intriguing part about it.
