(This is a PRP rp set shortly after Radha meets Rashida. Radha is played by KasaiLoki, Dene is played by Buffy_the_Bloody)
Dene hadn't seen his brother in what felt like months. He knew it hadn't been that long, but he couldn't help but be afraid for his wellbeing. Part of him wondered if Sam was alive, and if he should go off to find him. But mother had told him to trust that his brother would find his way home. She was sure he would, but Dene was thinking it might have something to do with her not wanting to lose her son again. He had just finished what was left of a hare he had caught the night before. Jasira was none too happy with him, eating her brethren. But she knew he had to survive, and she would usually busy herself with Rashida if times called for it. That was when he heard his mother's pawsteps. He perked his ears, walking to the exit of the den as he stared out at the world around him. His home was beautiful, he hadn't realized how much he had missed it. Though the second he returned, he knew it was meant to be. This was home, now and forever. "Momma?" He called, locking eyes with her. Rashida only smiled, nodding to someone who was following her, before turning to leave the two alone. Dene blinked, wondering why his mother was leaving the scene, but that was when his eyes landed on Radha.. He wasn't sure if he recognized her. He knew she was lovely, and part of him remembered her somewhere.. He had seen so many that faces blurred. But hers, hers was fresh in his mind.

Radha was stepping behind Rashida, step for step. She was curious if Dene remembered her, just like she remembered him. Her eyes scanned the area, noting the landmarks, and the ground itself, the paw prints seemingly sunken into the path, telling the stories of travels. The starry lioness imagined what kind of stories would be held in the land with each paw print step, before she was brought out of her thoughts by a voice.
Momma? She paused, stopping a couple feet away from Rashida, still from behind. She tilted her head for a moment, watching the older female leave before taking one step forward.
“It’s…been awhile…hasn’t it Dene?” she said softly, tail slowly grazing the dusty tracks.

In a moment of confusion, he arched an eyebrow. But before his words could get him in trouble, he felt a pang of recognition hit his brain. He smiled, his eyes lighting up. It had been awhile since his eyes had lit up quite like that. It had been awhile since he had seen the beautiful star pelted lady that he had run across on those terrible desert lands. "Radha." He said, his voice a deep, happily surprised tone. He had never expected to see her again, he had rather liked her company. And she had only grown into a prettier lioness, if that was even possible. "It has been forever! How did you find me?" He asked, smiling again as he approached, offering a nudge of his head in greeting.

As their heads bumped, a small, almost inaudible purr rang out from Radha’s body. These last few days had been wonderful. From being accepted into a pride that she only learned about from a story, to finding a friend she hadn’t seen in what seemed like ages, it just all seemed to be falling into place.
“Well, the clues you spoke of were very vague…but they seemed to be leading in the right direction.” She said with a smile. “And then, I guess the other was sheer luck.”
Her voice paused, “My pride is no more.” She remembered telling the male about the hardships the pride had endured. It was the reason after all she had ended up in the Ela’wadiyi lands.

He wondered for a moment if his directions had helped, but then he would have blushed had he been the type. Oh how embarrassing it had been to think of his clues being mountains. Of all the mountains, she was lucky she found the lands. Or rather, he was lucky. Looking at her, and having a friend he knew was a special commodity. He had spent so long away, he knew very few of the pridal familiar faces. But he was happy to have someone, even if he didn't know her too well. She was a friend he hadn't forgotten. "I'm glad it helped. Though I'm sure it wasn't my directions that got you here." He chuckled, teasing. But then she spoke about her pride, and his face softened. "Aw, Radha.. I'm sorry. I know you loved home." He paused for a moment, silent, before smiling softly. "At least you found me, eh? Cause you aren't alone. I can make this place feel like home."

She shook her head, trying to disprove his thought. “Nope. They gave me a direction, and that’s where I headed.” Sure, if he knew exactly where he had traveled from, she would have been in the lands much sooner than expected. However, life worked in a funny way.
“There is always an up to what looks like a rather dreary point of view,” her voice was still soft, eyes beginning to light up at his words.
She couldn’t help but giggle at his words. “And that is the up side,” she referred to finding Dene. “I’m glad you made it back to your home.” She gazed towards his multicolor eyes. “I would love to have this place feel like home.” It was completely different then the desert, but sometimes a change was in order.

He liked that she stroked his ego, giving him a way of saying it wasn't his fault. Though he felt guilty he hadn't known enough to give her better directions, he was happy she was here. In his mind, that was all that mattered. She was smart too, the way she spoke. She didn't harbor the bad. She just thought of the future, and what could come of such bad things in her life. He wished he could think that way. He probably would have been far happier. He smiled, chuckling a little. He had always been the type to do well with the ladies. He always had that special confidence, and charm about him. But he wasn't trying to bed this one. He had a different feeling with her. He couldn't put his paws on it.. But something was there.. "It's a good thing I'm here then. I'll make sure of it." He said, his own soft purr escaping his throat.

Radha smiled.
All the long days and nights of traveling finally had paid off. She was where she belonged. She just knew it. Her eyes gazed around the den, before looking right back at the tattooed male.
She couldn’t help but yawn, the feeling of the past finally catching up with her. She rested little, or at least, it felt like little as she was always on her feet. Embarrassed, the lioness could feel heat rising to her cheek. Luckily her pelt had hid the pink tone that surely would have appeared.
“Sorry, I guess I’m a little tired,” maybe more tired than she realized.

He knew it wouldn't be appropriate to ask her to stay in his den, that was just not called for. After all, something mother had mentioned was the pride only believed in marriage. That was enough for him to decide to try to be the decent guy in the situation. "C'mon," He said, waving her to follow. He knew where some of the spare dens in the pride were, he'd had to pick between them already. She would be close too, in case she wanted to come see him. "I'll find you a place to stay."

The starry pelted lioness nodded, following the male. Later she would find out exactly how the pride worked, what customs they would grow on. Already she could tell the tattoos must be something, as all the lions she had passed within the walk to the den currently were bearing head to toe of intricate markings. She was intrigued by them to say the least.
“That would be great,” she murmured softly, wondering just where the male would take her. Already she knew, this would be a great new home.
