Pain, nausea and delirium would flood the senses of poor Serene Altima, adopted child of the Uchiha and orphan of the Aramori clan by the very clan the took her in. The last thing she would recall is a group of individuals that were lost and pleading for help. After receiving something to drink her mind went blank. Her surroundings were dark and shabby, the smell was musty and left much to be desired. As her vision slowly returned, several characters gained focused. It seemed as if they were related, they were all hate red or pink hair and brightly colored eyes. "Well well well, look who is coming to.""Why haven't we disposed of her already? She is a traitor right?""Quite you idiot! She will hear you?""Alright kiddies, cool it."The voices had different tones and octaves that left a wide variety of gender and age.

 Character Theme: Mugen no Hikari ..Where was she? How did she even get there? What was the last thing she was doing? These questions floated about Serene's head as she began to come too without any answers. As she heard voices, her eyes went towards them, hoping someone knew what was going on. "Hey...what...happened? Where am I?" It was a few moments after that that things started to come together...the surroundings she was in, the fact that she was bound... Someone had captured her. Her bindings were weighted, so whoever it was knew enough about her kekei genkai to prevent her from shifting away...
Serene looked back towards where the voices came from, this time her vision a lot more clear. When she saw the red and pink hair a sigh escaped her. This wasn't good. "You're...you're all Aramori? What do you want with me?" Serene was hoping that they wouldn't recognize her as Aramori as well, but considering the situation, it wasn't likely they captured her without knowing who she really was...

 "Well wouldn't you like to know? Glad you could join us Serene. Welcome!"The young man leered down at her with a friendly smile, tipping his hat in a hello gesture. His voice was cheery, something the others didn't seem to share very much. His red hair proof enough of his heritage, but he had no visible weapons on his person at all, not a pouch or scroll in sight. Was this guy for real?

"Good you're not dead, well then you can be of use to us after all. We've been looking for you for a long time now half-breed."The man that came before her eyes into the light was massive, probably one of the most heavily muscled men she had ever witnessed personally. To think that he was an Aramori was almost unbelievable, yet his wild red hair and blazing crimson eyes left no mistake about his mixed heritage. There was a unique sword not usually native to the land of the ninja or even that found in the far off land of Iron, it was double edged from hilt to tip. Slender in comparison to his form but leaving no illusions how deadly he could potentially be with it. The manner in which he carried himself was that of the warrior, much like Serene, but where she had the bravado of a young warrior able to face her fears and hold her ground, this man had the presence that he leveled the ground beneath him when it suited his purposes. Such a commanding presence in his own way he was much like the Clan Lord of the Uchiha, frightening with power and charisma.

Character Theme: Mugen no HikariSerene's eyes shut as she heard one of the men say her name. This wasn't good at all...they knew who she was, so her being captured by them couldn't have just been by chance, and most likely playing dumb wouldn't help her either... She was in a very bad position. "Looking for me for a long time? I don't see why, I'm not of particular importance to anybody..." Serene knew that they knew who she was, but they may not have known she was an Uchiha ninja yet. If not, it was something that was probably better for her not to mention.
Serene had an emotionless look in her eyes as she looked at the others, despite being bound and basically at their mercy, she looked more like she was bored or annoyed than being scared. In truth she was extremely frightened... They could easily slit her throat for being a traitor to the Aramori and nobody would be there to save her, worse, probably nobody would even ever know. She had been surviving for a long time, but now death was staring her right in the face and there wasn't much she could do to defend herself... "If you didn't want me to know what you have planned for me, then it wouldn't make any sense for you to wait until I woke up for whatever you have planned. So once again, what do you want with me?"

 "How about a warm glass of shut the ******** up before I b***h slap you into next Tuesday you traitorous harlot! We're asking the questions here so you can quit trying to pump us for information, after all... it's what you're good at isn't it....snake!"
A woman who could have been considered quite beautiful, though the rage she displayed disguised most of it, she seemed to have a special distaste for the bound woman in particular. In one moment she was gone, before appearing inches in front of Serene's face positively seething with malice. Someone cleared their throat and she suddenly remembered where she was, blinking back to her original position. It was no jutsu, at least none that any man or ordinary shinobi could replicate, of this Serene would be certain.

The smartly dressed man gently pulled the woman back, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Hey, relax. Everything is alright. No need to yell at her. Serene is smarter than she looks."He focused back on the girl, still tied up in front of them. "Now Serene, we've been watching you for a while. But I must ask, what was your goal in there? Did you have a plan? Befriending that Uchiha boy for instance. Learning about their abilities and their weaknesses." He paced back and forth in front of her, but his voice wasn't accusing or intimidating. It remained friendly, almost curious. "Or did you perhaps believe us to be gone completely? Maybe convincing yourself that you could be one of them?" He shrugged, as if it was a perfectly viable reason. "I wouldn't blame you. You were probably safe there with all of those other young people on your side.....Nice to have friends and such....."

Character Theme: Mugen no HikariAs the pink-haired girl yelled at her, seemingly the most hostile towards her in the group, Serene didn't flinch. Her fire red eyes just seemed to follow the girl as she shifted right into her face, the bored look in Serene's eyes not changing. It was best not to give a person like this an invitation by showing fear or surprise, it also wasn't good to counter with hostility of her own, so sticking with her feigned apathy was still the best way to go. "Sorry ma'am, but none of you have actually asked me any questions yet. Now that I know you're questioning me, I'll stay silent until I'm spoken to, if it pleases you." Serene's eyes showed that she wasn't afraid of the girl despite her hostility, while her voice and words were calm and respectful. There wasn't much more Serene could do but cooperate now, acting out was just going to shorten her life span...
As the more fancily dressed man asked her an actual question, one concerning her reasons for living with the Uchiha, Serene couldn't help her reaction. It was a simple blinking of her eyes, not something that a normal person would find strange, but to someone more observant they would be able to see that the question evoked a bit of an emotional response from her. This wasn't something she wanted to answer... Serene knew that trying to lie her way out would be foolish, since she didn't know exactly how much information they had on her. She would have to speak the truth...she just needed to pick her words carefully. "...I never had a goal besides survival. When the...incident at the compound happened I was young and alone and spent a while living off the land before I resorted to thievery to feed myself. The village I stole from called in ninja to deal with me when I became a problem, and they happened to be Uchiha. One of them felt bad about killing a kid that was just trying to survive, so he decided to take me in. And since I was able, the Uchiha trained me to be one of their ninja. They don't know who I truly am, and I had figured if any aramori were left they would be scattered and disorganized, becoming one of them was the only choice I had."
Serene had seen it in her thoughts and nightmares plenty of times, the other Aramori calling her a traitor for joining their enemy to save herself. She didn't expect these people to be too forgiving to her, especially the pink-haired one. She still didn't have a way out of this either...

 A boy rather silent had been slowly turning his head to acknowledge each person speaking in turn. His expression was a rather odd mixture of boredom and disinterest while at the same time a look in his eyes said that he was not missing a single detail. It was almost eerie to see a boy barely older than Serene herself, look so impassive and jaded about life while remaining uncaring and yet intently fixed on his surroundings.
"Hmm, an Uchiha with a problem killing a child of a clan they were to wipe out unknowingly, or an Uchiha very well aware of the power before him seeing an advantage to make a very powerful and useful tool in the arsenal of one of the greatest shinobi clans to ever exist. Hard to say I suppose, none of us were there were we... or were we?"
There was something off about this boy, exuding an aura of omnipotence and arrogance, while at the same time giving off the feeling that it was well deserved. Head phones blared softly as white noise in the background while he carried the iconic monk staff known to their geographical region.
"The only choice you had available, or refusing to see what truly lay before you; again is something you decided for yourself and it is difficult to ascertain as to whether or not there was more you could have done for yourself, or your people."

Character Theme: Mugen no HikariUntil now, Serene's eyes had stayed in their neutral state, her defense mechanism against her fear in this situation. However as this new guy spoke of the man who spared her, saying that he could have known who she was and her potential and purposely recruited her, there was a twinge of annoyance that she couldn't hide. Serene was far from a wide-eyed, naive little kid, but still she still remembered how the man cared for her, protected her, and helped train her until she adapted to the Uchiha ways. "The Uchiha are taught to be ruthless, but not all of them are the same. There are some that are kind people... I hid every indication of being an Aramori, I don't see how its possible they would find out. Not to mention it took a handful of their ninja to completely decimate our entire clan...I don't think they would have much use for an Aramori that won't even use their kekei genkai." While Serene was greatful to the Uchiha for taking her in, she still disagreed with many of their teachings. However she didn't like them all being lumped together like they were all the same, there were plenty that were different...like Takeo...
When it came up that there could have been more that she could do, Serene's eyes resumed their neutral stare, though some of that annoyance was still seeping in. "I tried to fight the Uchiha when they came after me and I lost to them and was captured. When the offer to take me in was there I had too options, join or die. I don't see how there is anything else I could have done. I was just a kid that was all by myself and wanted to survive. I haven't given away any aramori secrets, and trying to claim revenge would just be a futile waste of my life. What else could you expect me to do?"

"You really are thick in the skull aren't you? A man who his lived an entire life of deceit, lies and antics better left for the cloak and dagger and you honestly believe he was being honest with you? And what do you mean there is no way he could no? Look at are ******** hair you moron, combined with our eyes it's not like we don't stand out like a ******** neon light a sea of dark hair and eye color."
The enraged girl threw up her hands in as much exasperation as well as anger. To her this bound girl before her was naive, ignorant and oblivious to the truth despite it being as apparent as a slap in the face. Despite her hardships it was clear that this woman did not care or was unimpressed with what she had been through.
"There is always another way, rather than whoring yourself out to the monsters that wiped out are clan. And your futile belief that not all of them are the same monster is nothing more a fever dreamed from a crack pipe. Any you may be sweet on simplly haven't discovered the truth to power or earned their taste for it yet."
