Welcome to my journal, I'm going to be brief for now as I waited too long to do this and wanted to get it up at the very least before going to work today.

Personality
Enkidu is a sadistic bugger who typically is out only to please himself and his desires. His need to cause others pain is the main driving force of his life and actions, as well as his lust for a more sensual pleasure. Every decision or action of his is made with the answer of the question "How will this benefit me and fulfill my desires?" If it benefits him in some way or moves him closer to completing a goal he'll do it, otherwise he couldn't care less about how badly someone was hurt or in need of help.
He's willing to bide his time in order to accomplish his goals. Sometimes he enjoys finding more complex toys and going after them with manipulation rather than force, as that gets to be boring and stale after a while.
Ultimately, Enkidu is a high functioning sociopath.

Asham is full of confidence and has a tendency to be arrogant at times, and a bit of a show off. He enjoys being around his best friend and slightly younger cousin, Caderyn, even when he's being stubborn and bullheaded. Like most cervitaur he's a formidable opponent, being among the most skilled warriors of his tribe when he was growing up. An interest in exploring the Isles, a sense of wanderlust, took hold of Caderyn and Asham had no choice but to follow.
There are times where Asham can be a little mean spirited, especially to those he think aren't as good as they should be in their abilities or are simply clumsy or stupid.
History
Asham was born into a small tribe, so becoming one of the more skilled warriors wasn't exactly the hardest thing to do. When he was still fairly young his cousin came to them, though at the time he didn't understand why, and his parents took him in. They became fast friends, Caderyn not leaving his side for very long and if he didn't have to, and Asham grew very attached and protective of him.
They weren't big mischief makers, in fact they hardly got into any trouble, but they did manage to make another young male's life a bit of a living hell from teasing him about his clumsiness every chance they got, sometimes only inviting him to play in their games so that they could laugh at how much of a failure he was. They never got in trouble for their bullying, the boys own father, the leader of their tribe, was just as ashamed of him as any other cervitaur father would be.
When he became a teen he found out that Caderyn had come to their village because his parents and majority of his previous tribe had been wiped out due to an unfortunate shift on the mountain they lived on, a rock slide barreling down on them. Realizing his cousin was an orphan, he decided then and there that for his rite of passage he would take responsibility for him, whether he liked it or not. Even though he was successful, he has no intent on leaving Caderyn's side.

Caderyn is brash and, like his cousin, arrogant at times. He's fairly stubborn and bullheaded, much to Asham's chagrin but he puts up with it well enough. He's a cheery and friendly taur who feels like until he's sparred with someone he hasn't really gotten to know them, so he feels more comfortable around fellow fighters and warriors.
He tends to look down on the weaker, those he thinks should be strong and able to fight, but aren't, especially if they're members of his own race. It's hard then to gain his respect.
History
Caderyn doesn't remember much from his childhood before he came to live with his cousin's family. He was aware that something bad had happened to his family and tribe while he and his nanny had gone for a walk, remembering the sound the mountain made as it's side crumbled. They promptly returned to see what had happened only to find that their tribe was no longer where it was when they left and buried under feet of rubble all along the side of the mountain. His nanny looked for any survivors and found only 2, and both had been away at the time the same as Caderyn and his nanny and suffered no injuries. Wondering what to do now the four of them decided to go to the tribe that Caderyn still had family in.
They were accepted in the new tribe and quickly found the places they belonged, Caderyn's being with his aunt, uncle, and cousin, Asham. He developed a fast relationship with Asham and it wasn't before long that the two were nearly inseparable, each being the other's very best friend.
Growing up their rarely got into trouble, but they did have a habit of teasing and bullying another boy their age. He wasn't completely incompetent but he didn't seem to know how his own body moved in the sense that he was always dropping things and tripping, one of the clumsiest creatures he had ever seen. He was a poor excuse for a cervitaur in his opinion, and he made sure to tell him that frequently enough.
Together they made quite the pair of warriors, each playing off the other's strengths and weaknesses and quickly becoming a fighting duo. When they became teens Asham learned of the events that brought Caderyn to his tribe and declared that for his rite of passage he would guard and maintain his cousin, and for Caderyn he chose to guard the site of the rockslide where his birth tribe perished.
Well into their adulthood and Asham still watches over Caderyn, and at times Caderyn would rather he be left on his own for a good week or so without Asham worrying about him. He tries to slip away from his cousin at times but he's almost always found; Asham's tracking skills had only gotten better over the years.

Aatu is a friendly wolftaur that's creeping on being middage; it's only a few years away. He has no interest in being alpha, he's perfectly content with being the beta of the pack. His skill in fighting and hunting keeps him in his position; few young wolftaur are eager on being 'second best' and often vie for top dog, which also helps. Until an ambitious pair decide to really take over he reckons his place is safe.
He likes to use his skills to teach the young taur when they're old enough. The only member of his family line left and with little interest in finding a mate or having pups of his own he has poured all of his love into the tiny female pup he has adopted, Natalia. He defends her as if she were his own daughter by blood and there's no faster way to earn his wrath then by messing with her. Letting go when she becomes an adult will be the hardest thing he'll do in his life.
History
Love for Aatu had always been hard to come by. He'd always been a rather friendly wolftaur, but he never really felt any attraction to anyone of the same sex or opposite sex. Sometimes it bothered him, especially when others would suggest they try something and he felt guilty for not returning their feelings, and other times it didn't. In his slightly older age he is much more at ease and accepting of his lack of interest, finding that all he really needs are good friends and companions to keep him happy.
At one point in time though there was a female wolftaur, Ozara. They had started out as simply being friends, and after months of talking and their friendship becoming tighter he found that he was falling in love for the first time. When he confessed his feelings to her she was ecstatic, having had the same feelings for a while now but knew he didn't care for that kind of thing so she kept it to herself, content to just be good friends. It was a while after that that they had a daughter, Loralei, and he had a new love in his life.
He couldn't have been happier about his life. He had a mate he was actually in love with and a daughter that held a different kind of love; everything seemed perfect. One day though, while she was still an infant, Loralei grew ill. It was a cough at first, then it turned into a lack of appetite, lethargy, and finally a fever that wouldn't break. Halfway through her illness Ozara began showing the same signs and Aatu began to worry even more for his family, trying to find a cure for them. Loralei died a few weeks later, her mother a week after that, her condition worsened by depression from the loss of her child.
Aatu quickly spiraled into depression, not wanting to go out and do the things he used to, instead staying in his hut all day and sleeping and grieving over his loss. It was a long time before he gathered his pieces together and slowly moved out of that state, picking up where he'd left off and moving on with his life. He still thinks about them years later, and has once again been unable to have an attraction of any kind like the one he had with Ozara.

Cold and distant, Markku doesn't talk much. He says what is needed, no more, no less. He has no care for the affairs of other undersea races; all he's interested in is his work. He enjoys the hunt, the kill, and the payoff. Not creating any attachments to others allows him to do his job; his own daughter, albeit adopted, feels more like an attack dog to him, and it's difficult to tell whether or not he would miss her if she died.
If someone makes him a decent offer to 'take care of' someone else it's no questions asked, and if the intended target makes an offer he likes more than the other his skill goes to the highest bidder, and he could very well come back not for payment, but for your head instead.

Yazhi is a very friendly and happy-go-lucky girl. She's a fan of racing and friendly competition when it comes to speed and agility and she's quite proud of her abilities. She's quick to try and make new friends and loves to tease and play.
