A note about Bailey: she IS transgender, as she was born male but identifies as female, and her family will have just moved to Destiny City. Hopefully that clears up anything that might seem a discrepancy in her profile.

Name: Bailey Jameson

Nickname: Bay (occasionally, and she HATES it)

Age: 10

Birthday: July 28th

Sign: Leo

Gemstone: Peridot

Blood Type: B+

Fav. Food: Tapioca pudding

Hated Food: Duck

School: Knightside Elementary

Hobbies: Football - For all Bailey's love of sparkly, glittery things and art, she LOVES American football. It's something she, her older brother Reed, her Mom, and her Dad have always done together, even if it was just them tossing the pigskin back and forth together, or watching The Game on Sundays. At least once a week, it isn't rare to see the Jamesons in their front yard, playing a two-on-two game of football (boys vs. girls), and Sundays during football season usually ends up being family time spent getting ready for and then watching the game...especially if the Seattle Seahawks are playing. Bailey's mother has been talking about finding her a flag football team to join once they're finished moving in, but Bailey herself is just happy finding a game in the park or letting people in on a game in her front yard.

Arts & Crafts - Bailey's mother's home office is home to more crafting supplies than any one person would need, and Bailey takes FULL advantage of this. She loves painting and drawing and scrapbooking the most, and the fridge is covered in her creations. She's especially fond of glitter and sparkles and confetti. VERY especially fond. She's the kid who carries a set of glitter crayons with her just so she can have glitter on her pictures at school. She loves the arts & crafts activities at community centers, and once school starts up again...she's definitely in for any afterschool or lunchtime activities along those lines!

Gardening - Back in her hometown of Tacoma, Bailey and her brother got involved with a community garden near their house a couple of years ago. And it's the one thing Bailey misses most, because she loved getting her hands all dirty and wrapping sparkly tape on the plants to keep birds from eating the fruits of their labor, and getting to munch on what she helped grow. She and her brother are hoping to find a new community garden to get involved with. Until then...she makes do with the little pots of kitchen herbs her mother got them.

Virtues: Cheerful - Bailey is a little ray of sunshine most of the time. She's upbeat, perky, and usually has a smile for most people. She tends to look on the bright side of things, seeing a silver lining in most situations. It can annoy most people, especially when things are stressful or it's bright and early in the morning, but she tries to just brush things off, and there are those who find her cheer and bright smile infectious. Which is just fine with her. After all, getting down about things gets nothing solved! It just makes yourself more blargh and drags others down with you!

Outgoing - Hand in hand with her chipper attitude is a love of people. She likes meeting new faces, making new friends, and seeing new places. She isn't one to shy away from crowds, and seems to do best when interacting with other people. She has the common sense to not go right up to someone that seems dangerous...but if someone seems to be a friendly face, she's likely to walk up and say 'hello'! Her outgoing nature has won her more friends than enemies in her short lifetime, even if her willingness to say 'hello' right off the bat came throw some people off. And she tries to encourage her friends to be at least a little like her when it comes to people; parties and other social things are better enjoyed when you're in the thick of things, not against the wall!

Creative - Bailey is one of those kids that seems to be making something more often than not. She has a creative streak that just doesn't seem to stop, and she tends to express it most through her art and her clothes. She doesn't let something stop her just because it 'isn't done', and will happily put together things that might not always work. And if she fails...well, she doesn't repeat it, but she uses it as a chance to springboard to the next nifty idea! And her brain isn't adverse to coming up with ideas for others, either! She's happy to help with group projects, or even solo projects when someone just CAN'T think of an idea! After all, she's got to have an unused idea starter somewhere in there for the other person to use! Art class is an especially popular time for her to be approached.

Flaws: Clingy - Bailey is terrified of losing the people close to her. She's never had many friends because she was a 'girly boy', and after losing a few friends because she decided to be who she really was, she's VERY attached to those she makes or has. She wants to spend as much time as possible with friends and family, even if she saw them just five minutes ago. She's VERY affectionate, showering them in hugs and kisses on the cheek, sometimes forgetting that not everyone is half as affectionate as her. She can be very possessive of her friends, feeling jealous and a bit abandoned when they spend what she perceives as too much time with other friends. So far, she's just shown her clingy nature in regards to people, but it may extend to pets as well if her family ever gets any.

Insecure - In an odd twist, Bailey is actually rather insecure with herself. She's convinced that just because there's always someone better that she's not good enough, and she feels bad for not having the ambition to climb further up. Though she stays cheerful most of the time, she has this...annoying tendency to put herself down in small ways in her speech. 'Really, I'm not worth it.' 'I'm really not that smart.' 'There's prettier girls out there!' While it might seem like she's being humble at first...it can grate on the nerves after a while. Especially since she has a tendency to just wave off compliments most of the time, something most people don't really seem to appreciate.

Easily Absorbed - Bailey is that kid who is hard to get out of something once they start in on it. Books, TV shows, movies, art projects...Bailey tends to tune things out except for what she's doing or is focused on. She loses track of time, doesn't always hear when she's being addressed, and it gets her into trouble if she's not very careful. She generally has to set an alarm that will get through to her (she and her mother found a sound that aggravates her enough to not tune out) if she's going to watch a show or play a game. When she's physically pulled out of things (a shake or tap on the shoulder, usually), she gets annoyed at first, but ends up apologizing profusely shortly after.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Civvie form

Eyes: Egyptian blue, wide.

Hair: Naturally pink, with the bottom third and the tips of her bangs dyed a nice pale blonde. Mid-back length and usually up in a ponytail, braid, or fluffy pigtails.

Face: Heart-shaped, and she has peachy skin with enough color to show she doesn't stay shut in and doesn't burn easily.

Clothes: Knightside elementary girl's uniform.

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Subra's Silent Paws
Subra whispers the attack name, glowing a light brown as she focuses on a nearby ally (within ten feet, and within sight). The glow transfers to her ally, the illusory form of a lynx settling over her ally before disappearing.

For 30 seconds, Subra's ally's footsteps are silent, making it easier to flank or sneak up on an enemy. Subra cannot use this attack on herself. She can use this attack twice per battle.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Subra's Silent Stalk
Subra whispers the attack name, glowing a light brown as she focuses on up to three allies (or two allies and herself, all within ten feet, and within sight). The glow transfers to her allies, the illusory form of a lynx settling over them before disappearing.

For 30 seconds, those affected by the attack have silent footsteps, making it easier to flank or sneak up on an enemy. She can use this attack three times per battle.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Subra's Steady Stalk
Subra whispers the attack name, glowing a light brown as she focuses on up to three allies (or two allies and herself, all within ten feet, and within sight). The glow transfers to her allies, the illusory form of a lynx settling over them before disappearing.

For 30 seconds, those affected by the attack not only have silent footsteps, making it easier to flank or sneak up on an enemy, but they find they don't lose their balance on uneven or otherwise unsteady ground (like snow, or gravel). She can use this attack three times per battle.

Other Notes
  • Bailey 'came out' as a girl to her family about two years ago, something that threw all except her big brother for a loop. Reed was the one that stood up for her the most after realizing she was serious, and eventually her parents came around, though her grandparents on both sides are still convinced it's a 'phase'. Her father's parents are less condescending about it than her mother's parents. After winter break of the 5th grade, she came back to school as a girl, and more than a few of her classmates did not approve. She was bullied throughout the rest of the year, a few of her friends actually shunning her and either ignoring her or joining the bullies.

The chance her mother's job gave her to move was seen as a blessing, and the family jumped on it. A new start in a new city, where people would only know 'Bailey-the-girl', and never have met 'Bailey-the-boy'.

  • Bailey is VERY body-conscious, thanks to parts of her body not being at all what she knows they should be. She refuses to let others see her undressed (not even her family), and is terrified she'll have to go through 'boy puberty'. She's seeing what it's doing to Reed! She doesn't want to be all angle-y and hairy and icky.

Hey Das, congrats on winning you chibi! She is quite an interesting little girl and I love her sphere. Let see if we can get her stamped!

Civilian Side:

Hobbies:

I love her hobbies, they are all cute and have the potential to be very social hobbies, but I do have a few questions, that might help with the social aspect. For football, is Bailey the type to jump into a football game if she saw one being played in the park, you know just random pick games. And for arts and crafts, would she be likely to do crafting classes or activites at community center?

Virtues:

Cheerful is a great and cute virtue. It needs to expanded upon I think to include how it might benefit Bailey and make people like her. I always try to think of virtues in the terms of how the virtue will endear other's to you character. You have how it can be annoying, and that fine, so long as it doesnt make her cheerful virtue look like a flaw, but you need how it good and beneficial. Is she the type of person that is just general hard to be upset around because it seems nothing gets her down?

Outgoing need the same bit of expansion. I imagine she would be quick to makes friends, the one encouraging other's to try to things, the one at a party who is never stuck to a wall. It needs a bit more of the social aspect.

I love the creative aspect, its quite cute, but again I'd say it needs more of that social expansion. Is Bailey your go to girl for group projects? Do other want her help in art class or even with project ideas?

Flaws:

Clingy is a great flaw I think, with her being overly affectionate and having lack of boundaries, or at least that's what I getting. Some people might like this, but a lot will probably find it really annoying. Is she only clingy with people? Does her clingy-ness make her possessive?

I love the little saying you put for insecure and while it reads well I'm not really seeing how actually this is going to make someone shy away from or dislike her. The flaw seemed introverted and needs a bit of that social aspect. I'm not totally sure how to bring that out without clashing with her cheery and outgoing virtues, but I'm sure we can work something out.

I like her easily absorbed flaw, and I can really see how it could become really annoying, with keeping a schedule and moving her along and games and class especially when she gets annoyed an then starts apologizing for it.

Extra bit because I'm curious and other's are curious:

She is transgender, but also very young and while I know this is totally plausible I'd love to see a bit of her history with family and with regards to her being transgender because of her age and because it lends to two of her flaws. Did they move because of her situation?

Powered Side:

I love her powered and think they work well.

For her all her attacks, I assuming that while the ally needs to be within 10ft she also needs to be able to see them, sense she is focusing on that ally and maybe that could be clarified a bit. Also make sure to add the range to both super and eternal.

For all her attacks she needs a usage cap. How many times can she use each attack?

Also for all of her attacks I think it might be better for give a time frame for the attacks effect as opposed to a post count. When you have a battle sometimes there is fighting right from the beginning, but often there is not and rps tend not to last more that 13-15ish post, if that makes sense. It seems like make her attack last two to three post for something that is suppose to be a surprise attack it a bit much.

I would suggest about 30secs for each attack.

If you need any help, feel free to aim me. I am Shizu6616.

Almost stamp ready dearie. Just one more thing. For her attacks I would much rather see a time frame as opposed to a post count. Think of it this way, a battle tends to last 10-16 posts, and her attack last for three posts and can be use twice. So 6 of the out of 13-15 that's the majority of the rp. With a time frame, it give a little more wiggle room.

Also in orp's which tend to have a lot of people and are often fast paced it can be confusing as to how long an attack should last. Things can get a little lost in the sauce so to speak.

Suggesting 30 seconds for the attacks. That way (using it twice) shes got about a minute for the basic, and (using it three times) about a minute and a half for the super and eternal.

Quote me when you are ready for another look over.
