The squad 6 Garden is possibly the second largest garden among the Squads. With the 1st division being the largest. The garden stretches as far as the eye can see. The garden is filled with many traditional Japanese plants and trees. The colors and brightness can bring peace to any heart. Baraku lets members take time off and attend art classes that he had set up when he first became captain.
The pond in this garden is more like a small lake. In the lake there are many water plants and various koi fish. Living in this lake there is a rare breed of Koi fish, ones that Baraku spent years searching for. The Koi in the lake have been known to grow as big as a fully grown man at times, For this reason Baraku has a strict no swimming in the lake policy...more for the safety of his Koi than the squad members.
Crossing from one side of the lake to the other is a large old fashioned red Bridge, This bridge is quite wide and is quite special to Baraku, it is where he proposed to his wife, and is one of the main places he mourns her passing.

- Squad 6 Lieutenant - The sun was high, leaving the gardens a pleasant warm, enough that the pale girl decided she should lay out and get some sun, the sound of her voice all that was disturbing the peaceful area other than the white noise of running water.
Fiona had finished up her paperwork and then did what she could of the pile on Baraku's desk since he was in such a foul mood today. Well that and she was bored...there should be more exciting things to be done than sitting and filling out leave forms or equipment requests. Somehow when she signed up for all this she imagined it would be more exciting than a glorified bookkeeping position.
"Fiona, you're so childish, don't give people nicknames...that's not serious enough." She muttered to herself, doing a half-decent imitation of her captain as she tossed her now second rubber ball in the air and caught it from where she lay on the grass. Most of the rest of the squadron was busy but now that she had time off she wasn't really sure what to do with it, she didn't have family here and her dorm room seemed a little too stuffy on such a nice afternoon. The weather wasn't usually too enjoyable.
"While your at it Fiona, you need to eat more vegetables and fill out more forms. Stand up straight, that's what us Kuchiki men do. The stick up our a** doesn't allow us to relax." She snickered to herself, she'd have to improve her imitation of Baraku, it could make quite a impression at the next lieutenant's meeting. She tossed the ball in the air and caught it. "We don't have time for your silly games even though nothing serious is happening and there aren't real threats. If those extra quills aren't ordered the whole of soul society could fall apart you know!"

Baraku had been in the deeper parts of the garden, taking a long relaxing walk through the beautiful landscape and reminiscing about his old life with his wife. He remembered how she looked when the sun shone on her beautiful hair, her skin, so fare would seem to glow also. "There isnt a day that goes when I don't think about you Karina..." He said as he dropped a Lily into the water below the Large red bridge he was now standing on. After a short prayer Baraku decided to walk back to his Office and finish anything that needed to be finished..... Maybe even scold Fiona some more.
His walk was cut short when he seen the Lieutenant lying on a patch of grass a little bit away from him. Walking slowly over he could hear what she was saying. "I do believe it would be quite uncomfortable for one to sit if they had a stick in their rear..." He spoke, looking down at her. By his tine of voice it was clear that he wasn't amused. "also, Soul society might fall apart of we do not have the right utensils that we need..." he was folding his arms now and frowning as he looked down at Fiona.

- Squad 6 Lieutenant - She jumped slightly when he spoke, fumbling her rubber ball then pouting slightly as it rolled down into the stream. It paused in a small area but now it would be all wet...she sighed a little and glanced back at Baraku, her moment of nerves fading as she resisted the urge to laugh when he actually repeated what she'd just said. Instead she smirked a bit.
"Yeah, I forgot. A stick would be much too common, a golden walking cane I guess would work better." She remarked, she was already caught so no point trying to say she hadn't been doing anything. Fiona was anything but a coward - likely she was much too brave for her own good when it came to her smart a** attitude. She patted the grass next to her, leaving her ball to circle in the water where it was caught for the time being. "Come have a seat, relax for a bit. I already went through the paperwork and finished all but a few signatures, yes that means your desk too. Unless your O.C.D. requires you to run and do it now."
She turned on one side, flicking hair out of her face and grinning impishly, challenging him in her own way. Not that she expected he would sit on the grass, she figured he'd just silently will her to catch on fire and walk the other way. After a moment she even rolled her eyes, he didn't move right away so she was already assuming she was right. "Come back and get me when you're done stressing over the quill's and we can go find something for the birthday girl."

Baraku watched as the blue ball that Fiona was playing with rolled down the hill and landed in the stream of water. He frowned slightly as he watched the rubber ball bob up and down in the water. A small Koi swam close to it and touched the ball, it seemed to be curious about the round object. The fish then swam quickly away after the ball left the water for a split second, landing back in the water and bobbing along once more. His attention then went to his Lieutenant. "That.... would be a waste of a fine walking stick.." His eye narrowed as he spoke to her. Baraku now held his arms behind his back.
Walking around so that he was no infront of the Lieutenant. "I would sit down... but I do not have my cushion....... and well, The grass will only stain my coat." He said, This time he was doing it on purpose, giving his lieutenant something to poke fun at. "The fact that the paper work is finished is a surprise.... Usually you leave it til much later...." His arms now came around and he now had them folded infront of himself. "Well.... at least they're done.." he sighed. When Fiona mentioned about the Quills he frowned. Sometimes he hated it when she mocked him, though, that was the relationship they had...and sadly?... It worked.

- Squad 6 Lieutenant - Fiona was the opposite of his serious and rigid behavior, propping herself up on her elbows as she watched him wander to between her and the small stream with sparkling blue eyes. Those brilliantly colored eyes rolled at his remark and she shook her head at him, he was purposefully stuck up to the point of fault. The poor guy had to learn to relax one of these days.
"Yes, I am full of surprises." She added as he started to frown. As if to accent her comment Fiona pushed herself forward with the suddenness of a snake, trying to tangle his legs with hers with remarkable dexterity. She was hoping to get him to fall to the side or forward but mostly cause she was curious how he would react and she didn't have anything better to do at the moment.
Besides, it would certainly add to the amusement of the afternoon if he did fall on her...perhaps she'd get him to blush.

Baraku still stared at Fiona she annoyed him at times, yes, but other than that she was a good lieutenant. It was hard for him to deny it. He let out a sigh and closed his eyes at her mention of being "full of surprises". As he opened his eyes he only had a second to react to Fiona trying to trip him up. he quickly jumped back and landed near the edge of the river. He could hear the steady ow of water behind him. "Trying to trip me up to embarre-" Baraku began to say as he took one step back and his foot slipped off of the edge of the bank. He quickly fell into the river with a large splash. Baraku was now frowning and glared at Fiona "Dont you even dare to laugh, Unless you want me to give you a butt load of work!" He said, loosing his regal tone and speech.
Baraku stood up from the small river and walked out, his socks making squishing noises as he walked. His hair had come undone and was now hanging down over his shoulders. He began to drain the water from his hair by twisting it, a steady stream of water falling into the grass. "thanks to your efforts I'm going to have to go home and clean myself up...." He sighed.

- Squad 6 Lieutenant - Fiona watched as he landed and started to chew her out then broke into a smile as he slipped and wavered before the splash she was already grinning. Then he was glaring at her and threatening work but it was too funny. She was already busting up laughing by the time he'd uttered half the threat, hitting the grass as she tried to catch her breath between giggles.
"Oh, that's priceless...just excellent..." she could barely talk between the bouts of laughs. Holding her side where it was starting to hurt as he continued to glare in her direction. She was still cackling with humorous pleasure when he muttered about having to change and clean up and a whole new series of laughs began. "S...s...stop. Your...it's...gonna kill me."
She was giggling away, still beating the ground with a hand and covering her face where she was crying from the pure amount of humor in his reactions. If she was going to get in trouble she might as well enjoy it - she doubted she could handle not laughing regardless. Her eyes were clouded over when finally the sigh of irritation drew her gaze over.
"Oh calm down blossom, a little water is good for you. Besides, I was just trying to pull you down on me. You shouldn't have dodged and you wouldn't have ended up all wet." Fiona commented, still slightly out of breath and doing her best to pause the occasional giggles when she glanced at where he was dripping. "Unless you want me to come help you get cleaned up."
Shameless as usual she licked her lips and looked him up and down suggestively. Not that she presumed it would matter...she was likely too common for him - but it was fun to push his buttons.

Baraku stood in his wet clothing, staring at Fiona. He let out a slight chuckle. In a way, It was funny. He was being serious, scolding Fiona about this and that and now look, He was a mess! His clothes soaking wet and Muddy, his hair too was wet and now hung down, after coming loose from its bindings. He shook the water from his hands and pushed his hair back, removing any bits that were in his face. "I'll let you off this time..." He walked towards Fiona, stopping infront of her and looking down. When she mentioned about helping him get cleaned up he blushed slightly, but tried to hide it by coughing . "I-I 'm fine, I dont need your assistance in getting cleaned up..." He spoke, now avoiding her gaze. In his head, he could hear the snickering of Senkuro.

- Squad 6 Lieutenant - Fiona outright cackled, her voice breaking slightly as she coughed - her lungs a little overworked by how much he got her to laugh. It was just a little too precious the way people always reacted to her flirting. Really, it shouldn't have been so funny given how easy it was but even simple enjoyments were important ones.
"Let me off? From what? Should I expect a spanking my Captain?" She managed to mostly keep her voice level, still breathing a bit heavily to keep up after he fit of laughter. "Maybe I'm the sort of girl that likes to be punished...all depends on what you had in mind. I am rather curious what's going on behind those bright cheeks of yours?"
She grinned a little at the stutter, pushing herself upward, flipping to her feet and walking closer to him. Like a cat that sensed weakness in it's prey and just wanted to toy with it a little more - it wasn't that she was hungry - more that she was bored. Hands settling on his captain's coat as she spoke, pulling it lightly toward the ground and off of him - so slowly he could back away easily enough - of course it would be right back toward the stream again..."I do suppose I should offer to at least clean this for you. It was my legs you got all tangled up with - can't have your coat sporting mud after all."
