Neutral Quote: You have found your way to Peddler’s Rock. A traveling shop for everything, including some things not quite legal. A tall and burly Dovaa greets you as you come in and asks if you have a moment to spare. "Hey there little one, may I have a word with you? I'm in a bit of a bind. You see, got a spot of trouble that needs dealing with but I can’t leave my shop unattended. Could you lend me a hand, perhaps?" If you agree, continue to read, otherwise RP your response and leave the adventure. He smiles with relief upon your agreement, "Thanks a bunch, partner. I have a few tasks, mostly need some help restocking, but there is one that I’d like you to do first. Not really all that earth-shattering, just…finding something for me." he says, rubbing the back of his head a bit embarrassed. Eku has always wondered about the shop that his once instructor, Cassius, spoke of before when he went to purchase an Ysali dragon orb and also a potion item for him before he went to see Master Draco. They are such rare item to have them in stock to be sold to the public it had made him incredibly curious how the owner of the shop acquired them in the first place. And so he wondered what else this ‘Arick’ guy has in stock to sell. He has heard from the word of mouth from the people that a particular shop has opened in Obsidian City which made the mage wanting to make a little shopping trip with Vilzun by his side and he hoped that the keindred will be on his best behavior.
He travelled through the city and searched through the marketplace to find the Peddler’s Rock. It should be easy to find since its operator is a large Dovaa. Not hard to find in a scenery of black and dark purple after all. And soon, he found the travelling shop which made him smile as wide as his stitches allows him to and he stepped inside of the shop along with Vilzun. They both stared around with eyes so wide at the wares galore for it stunned them. There are weapons, tomes, items around and all that Eku wanted to buy and he will somehow find the way to make it happen to be the owner of those items. Vilzun, on the other hand, was attracted to the bright shinies that he saw for they looked so appetizing. He had opened his mouth and wanting to take one little bite but the mage managed to turn around in time to see what he was about to do. “Vilzun! You better shut dat mouth of yours . . .” And the drakein was caught; frozen in place in hopes that Eku won’t see him. But he whined softly and crawls away to be by his side.
And then they were greeted by the very man of the shop who is a huge Dovaa; bigger than what he had thought in mind too. Eku only hoped that he didn’t see what Vilzun almost try to do. “’lo dere, dis be one interestin’ shop you got mon.” He greeted him at first before he heard the request that was asked to him. It was odd to hear that Arick needed some help restocking some item and also to find something else. The mage wondered what this something else is but he merely smiled and nodded his head. “Sure! I can help ya wit’ whatever you need.” But for a price, he would hope. Doing something nice for another person usually means a reward in the end and the man wanted a piece of his items that he has in stock for free. And so it’ll be the most perfect way to get it. How hard could it be to get items anyways?Go to task 1

Quote: "I've lost a letter on my way here this morning. It’s extremely important to me and I’d prefer that no one read it." a small blush and awkward expression passes over his face. "But since I can’t leave the shop, you’ll have to go back along my path and try to find it for me." The path to the shop is a rather winding one with many bushes, trees, and shrubs along it. So many places for a letter to hide. A letter? That sounds so easy to find! That is what he thought when Eku and Vilzun are outside of the city walls and looking for the damn letter now which felt like hours now and he’s starving. It was embarrassing since his skirt has caught on the damn branches of the bushes too many times and he has to pull himself free. “Dis letter be important . . .” He muttered under his breath in anger as he tries to remember the path that Arick explained he went on while wondering why the hell he didn’t take the damn main road! Stupid . . .
Vilzun, on the other hand, was having the best of luck when he was snooping around the bushes and came across a piece of paper. That piece of paper being the actual letter they’re looking for! Eku was extremely happy to see as he hurried over to him. “Good job! Give it here Vilzun.” The mage asked nicely to him but the keindred has other things in mind as he growled at him and wanting to make the letter his new chew toy. “No no no noooo! Don’t do dat! I be needin’ dat letter.” He panicked. Already his heart is beating a mile per second because that letter is going to be shredded and devoured soon. And he did the craziest thing that he can think of; reaching down to grab the letter. Those bright yellow orbs saw the hand that was reaching for his toy and Vilzun growled once again and loudly too. But once that hand was within range, he quickly released the letter and chomped right on to his hand and Eku screamed out loud that it even ripped some of the stitches on his mouth. “GAAAAAAAAH!!!! SWEET MOTHA!!! LEMME GO!!!” Damn! His bite grew stronger now but now that the letter was released he grabbed it with his free hand as it was in his hand now.
But sadly his other hand has been snapped right off his stitches at the joint and Vilzun dashed off with it; leaving him on hand less as Eku stared at the ripped blood stitches dangling about. It was his turn to growl in anger as he ran off after his drakein towards to the city now. “Get back here wit’ me hand Vilzun!” Go to Success Quote: Arick grins, so he’d judged you right! Quote: This task is more important, his stock of pearly scales is running low and he needs you to go get three for him. He tells you that there are two ways to get them. One is to fight an Oralrik and the second is to search the banks of Serenia’s lakes for the scales. You must RP your traveling and search/fighting. Damn, the next thing he has to get now is pearly scales and the only place he can find them . . . is at Serenia. Like hell he’s going to fight some damn Oralrik right after he has to fight for his hand from Vilzun (who he is not talking to now) but he has no choice but to go there.
With his hand bandaged and stitched up, they both took a boat trip to the continent in secrecy for he didn’t want to be spotted by the Orderites at all or by his people too for it must be very weird for an Oblivionite to go there. He wants this to be a fast trip to find the scales before anything bad could happen. Dressed in a brown cloak and hood, he walked over there as he looked like a traveler and avoiding the main roads in search for a lake there. In his journey which lasted for some days, he found one and Eku hurried over there to look around at the banks to find some of the pearly scales. The mage tries to find before Vilzun does and eats them up. But luck was on his side and he found them as they lay sparkling just ahead of him. “Hee hee! Found dem!” He exclaimed as he hurried up and collected the pearly scales to be placed in his bag.
They soon turned to leave until Vilzun stopped in seeing that there’s someone walking nearby. Eku looked to see that it was actually an Orderite man who was travelling by and he completely froze in place. “Hurry up Vilzun, we must be goin’ now.” The mage hurried to leave without being caught by him. “Oh hello there!” Damn it. It was too late. “Are you okay sir? Your hand looks hurt.” The Orderite continued to speak but Eku pulled his hood down to cover his face and he cleared his throat up to speak. “Oh, no, I’m fine. No need to worry.” He tried to get rid of his accent to hide his identity. But then his cloak was snagged on to a briar bush and it had also managed to pull down his hood and his face as the Serenia native gasped at the sight. “OBLIVIONITE!!!” “DAMN IT!!!” And Eku and Vilzun ran all the way to the port at high speed to lose the Orderite and his flying arrows too.Go to success Quote: Arick grins, so he’d judged you right! Quote: This time he needs Nocturnal Spikes, he’s out and a customer came by asking for some and he said that he would have some by tomorrow. You may fight an Riistäjä for its Spikes or you may search the forest of Souldul for them. You must RP your traveling and search/fighting. After he gave the pearly scales, he told Arick he needed some time to recover after the trip to Serenia. Since he was spotted by the Orderite, Eku ran for his life and was completely burned out from it. He was glad that the Dovaa understood about that . . . for only a few seconds as he told him that he needed the Nocturnal Spikes and now. And seeing that he is really a big guy it’s best not to continue arguing with him and go find the last item that he needs. At least it’s here at his home which won’t be as bad and hopefully less painful too.
It was one more outing for the item that he need and that’s it. And so they ventured out into the forest of Soudul in searching for Nocturnal Spikes. It won’t be that hard since Eku knows where they are and what they look like. In fact, he found them right before him as he squat down and picked up the Nocturnal spikes and studied them at bit in his hand. “. . . dat be it?” For a moment, he thought that it would be a difficult thing to do. It has been since the beginning of this madness. But the mage is not going to give it another thought as he stuffed the item in his bag and simply walked out of the forest fast; leaving Vilzun running after him. “Ekuuu!” He called out for him but the male is not going to stop and ruin his moment of peace now without getting bitten and strike down to death.Go to success Quote: Arick grins, so he’d judged you right! Quote: If Arick receives all 3 you get the Gaili Orb and an Ayrala Dragon's Tear. He is happy and relieved. "Oh, thank you so very much, young one. You really did me good there! Here, take this orb and tear as thanks for a job well done!" The letter, scales, and spikes. All three items that Arick needed was finally found and delivered to with Eku magically still in one piece from the madness. For a moment, or few, he wanted to give up because it wasn’t worth his damn life in getting these things. He’ll do the hard work of paying stuff with his own money if he can keep a limb or two. But his hollowed eyes widen at the reward he was given for the work he did. In his hands was an orb and tear as he saw them sparkled through the waves of his sight. “. . . thank ya Arick.” He smiled up at the Dovaa as he took the items and slipped them away in his bag and turned away to walk out of the Peddler’s Rock. But then he stopped right at the entrance and looked back at the large Dovaa. “Next time, hire some poor fella te get dem items!” Like hell he’s going through that stuff again as he left and went straight home to sleep for a few days.
