Holy cow this was early in the morning. Heidi sat up in bed and stared blearily out the window of her dorm room. Was the sun even up? Maybe something was in front of her window? She didn't want to get up and check. She had promised to go jogging with Tuck sometime but she had no idea what time he did this. Was this too early? Was this too late? Thou dost posses his property as well, it must be returned before one is given Hell. Nailed it. Heidi squinted her eyes at the earring on the bedside table. What did that even mean? Wait, what was that beside her earring? Oh. A hair brush. ...That was not her hair brush. She blinked. Oh. Right. Riiiiiight. Yawning, Heidi grabbed her phone and switched it on, wincing at the sudden bright light in her eyes. pinchmonster Text to: Tuck Text from: Heidi omg its like 4am is this really happening since when does this time even exist

Heidi waited. And waited. And waited some more. And then she woke up again. Oops. Crap. Right. Where was she? What time was it? 4:30am and still no text from Tuck. Um.. Maybe she was right. Maybe he was still sleeping because it was too early.

Heidi scowled at the phone. It really was too early. Text to Tuck sry I thought it was pm ok She put her earring on, grabbed the hairbrush she had stolen, pocketed her phone in the band of her pajama pants, and finally gathered up her blanket around herself like a puffy cocoon before she wandered out of her room. Tuck's room, Tuck's room..ah. There it was. Heidi let herself in, looking very much like a blanket monster shuffling through Tuck's room, before she just flopped on Tuck's bed. Apparently she didn't care if she landed on him or not.

Tuck had only been half-awake when he'd sent that last text to Heidi, and the phone was still clasped in his hand.
When Heidi landed on him, Tuck didn't sit up and scream, and he didn't get grumpy, and he didn't throw Heidi off of him. Instead, Tuck just wrapped his arms around her and quickly became the big spoon.
He then began snoring. Loudly.

Well that was a relief. Heidi allowed herself to be grabbed and turned so her back was to Tuck, closing her eyes and quickly falling asleep again. Now she just felt like a blanket burrito being snuggled by a giant teddy bear.
...A loud teddy bear.
Heidi's eyes opened slightly and she just stared ahead when she heard the snoring. Really?
She nudged Tuck through the blanket.

The snoring stopped at the nudge, but the arms around Heidi's waist only tightened. His jaw hurt, but it was more of a dull ache than anything.
Tuck was the spooniest spoon of all the spoons.
The big Moon squinted in the dark of the room. He wasn't really sure who he was holding on to, and Tuck did a brief mental rundown. Wasn't Candace, she was curvier. No long hair, so it wasn't Nevada. He caught a flash of short pale hair.
Heidi.
"'shoo doin', Heidward?"

Ah, right. Heidward. Perfect response would be perfect.
She turned in Tuck's arms to face him, the tired look on her face faintly illuminated at an odd angle by the dim blue glow of Matilda's totem on her ear. "I came to watch you sleep, Tuckella." She responded in a low, serious voice. It was her impression of the proper 'Heidward' speech. "I don't sleep, so I came to watch you. But you freakin' snore, and that's not sexy, so I had to put an end to it."
Obviously.
Suddenly a hairbrush slowly came out from inside her blanket burrito, holding the head of the brush by her face with her hands still hidden in the blanket. "Also, I'm returning this."

Tuck sniggered against what he assumed was Heidi's shoulder before nabbing the brush. He immediately threw it across the room, where it promptly crashed into the wall before clattering to the floor.
"Oh, Heidward," he squeezed his arms tighter before letting out a long, lusty sigh, "you're the worlds most dangerous predator."
He might've been laughing.

Heidi watched the brush fly across the room. Welp. At least she returned it. She squeaked as she was squeezed and turned her attention back to Tuck, giving him an odd look when he sighed so strangely. That was just part of his Tuckella act, right? At least he was laughing. "I tried to warn you to stay away from me, Tuckella. I'm no good for you, you're a fool to let me in here night after night." She turned again so her back was to Tuck once more, snuggling back against him. If he insisted on holding her she was going to make darn sure she was comfortable in her blanket burrito. "I wanted to go jogging with you, but I woke up too early. I forgot this time of day even existed." Heidi yawned and closed her eyes. "Go back to sleep, Tuckella. And remember ladies don't snore like growling bears." You didn't want your Heidward to go off and find a Jacob or something, did you? Thought not. pinchmonster I DIDN'T SEE YOU TAGGED ME this is clearly more important than sleeping ijs

"You's awful is what you are," Tuck chuckled. Had it been mentioned that he was only wearing boxers? No? Consider yourself informed. "I been tryin' to catch up on my beauty sleep. Some runt of a Sun ******** my face all up, Heids." He sounded put out about the entire situation. "Right in th' moneymaker. Ain't never gonna be the prettiest belle at the ball." He paused. "Bella at the ball." Tuck snorted, loudly, at his own horrible pun. Eight oh my ******** god i legit love these two so much omfg

"I'm the best," Heidi argued haughtily when told she was awful. She had yet to notice Tuck's state of dress, her own blanket separating her from the older man. "Everyone's a runt compared to you, Forest. What happened?" Despite her teasing there was actual concern in her voice. ******** up his face? Was that why he had been snoring? Now she felt kind of bad. At his joke she giggled and rolled her eyes, rolling over to face Tuck again. She couldn't see well enough in the darkness to tell what kind of damage had been done. "I guess we have to break up, then. I can't be seen with someone whose perfection isn't on par with my own." pinchmonster Its okay I feel the same way man the same way

The smallest hint of a bruise lingered along his jawline, greenish purplish blue mottling the skin from his chin to his cheek. A much angrier maroon pooled beneath his eye. "Spar. I like to stop things before they get too serious, but I guess I was workin' on some of my own issues so I kept on goin' - she used her charge an' I saw ********' stars." His lower lip shot out when she spoke of breaking up. "How am I ever gonna live without you, Heidward?" Tuck's arms tightened around her as he put on quite the act. "I'ma have t'go cliffjumpin' n' s**t, ain't I?"

His own issues? Heidi frowned, her brow furrowed with concern. Was he okay? It felt like too early in the morning to be asking questions about 'his own issues' that needed working on. Instead she just let herself be hugged tighter without complaint, grinning at Tuck's worries of her breaking up with him. "I hope you know how to ride a motorcycle, Tuckella. You're gonna need all the crazy, life risking activities you can get."Suddenly Heidi paused and then eyed Tuck suspiciously. "You know a lot about Twilight..." A lot.
