Why do you want to hold the rank of Lieutenant? So that I may have my Shikai.
Why do you think you will do well as a Lieutenant? I have been known for my good leadership, and also love being a part of Crews and such in guilds, because I can contribute my ideas and keep people in line very easily.
Your Sample: Your captain is gone and things got a little out of control when a party started after the alcohol was brought out. Suddenly there is an attack on the barracks by hollows.

Akihiro looked around at all the fools of his Squad getting drunk and being idiots, sighing as he held his head in the palm of his right hand, leaning upon the table he was sitting at and looking extremely bored. 'Everyone here is lucky I don't drink, the Vice thought to himself, adjusting the Squad 6 Lieutenant armband he always wore, regardless of occasion. 'They'd all be blubbering idiots without direction if I wasn't here....' He was away from the main group, at a table in the far corner. The Captain was away on business, and that of course meant Akihiro was in charge of affairs of Squad 6. Someone had decided that it was a good idea to throw a party while the Captain was gone, and thus the alcohol flowed freely, and more than half of the Shinigami that had attended were drunk beyond capacity. It would be a fun party for any other person in Soul Society, as the Gotei 13 were notorious for throwing big and crazy parties. Unfortunately, today it would seem that the infamous parties had attracted the worst kind of attention. While Akihiro sulked, a large spiritual pressure could be felt suddenly, and out of nowhere, a tear above Seireitei appears, and countless Hollows of varying sizes and strengths began pouring out of the tear. Instantly drawing his Zanpakuto, Akihiro called out to everyone, "Any who can still wield a blade without falling, to my side!" To get such a long sentence out of the man was a rarity, so many Shinigami who weren't intoxicated instantly leaped to him, drawing their own Zanpakuto. Even some who were drunk managed a few slurred words of astonishment. So the battle commenced, with Akihiro being the only commanding officer on duty at the time and so had to lead the entire force against the invading Hollow Army. He issued commands with a voice that could be heard even over all the fighting, and with short, quick instructions, easy to follow. Soon, the entire Hollow wave was destroyed, with the Shinigami side not having lost a single man, thanks to Akihiro's leadership. The party that had been interrupted recommenced soon, and if one looked carefully, Akihiro could be seen dancing the night away, a reluctant smile upon his face. The victory was well earned.
