So in light of Cap'n's leaving post, I suppose I had better make a post saying something Captain-y, now that Genville has made me Captain!
I must admit, it was kind of a shock. A good Shock, but a shock nonetheless!
Anyways, I should introduce myself for those who may not know me! ...Which might not be any of you but I needed to put something just in case!
I'm Nilead, as some of you might have guessed! But most of the time I go by the name Dan or Dex! And sometimes Mana (okay that's a lie, but I have a tumblr wherein I used to be called Need More Mana so it's close enough!). I'm a 20-something Guitarist who lives in the South of England! I like writing (when I don't have writer's block) and TMCG was pretty much the first guild I ever joined on Gaia!
..I have no idea what else to put so I'll leave it there!
I'd also like to extend a farewell to Genville through here too, despite doing it in the other thread! I'm sure we all agree that we wish her good luck in her future endeavors, and that the guild will always have a place for her should she ever wish to come back to this guild! smile
NOW ONTO BUSINESS!
I just wanna scope what you guys think we should do as a guild! I would like to change things, but me doing anything willy-nilly means nothing if we don't go together as a unit! So let's get onto some stuff with that then!
So obviously a few years ago, Genville decided to get rid of the members who were inactive. It took ages to go through the list but generally we got ourselves to a nice tidy number of..I think it was just under 20 members! Which is good, but what now? Do you guys wanna see the guild gain some more members to roleplay/chat with (etc, etc) OR would you rather keep it as a family-esque group where we invite the odd person every now and then?
Obviously I don't want the guild growing to a guild so big that people end up becoming inactive and not joining, and then going through the whole "hey let's get rid of over 1000 members again, yyyaaaaayyYyYyyyyyYYYy <_<;", but it was just a thought! So that's my first question.
My second question is that what do you guys want to see on the guild main page? We have a LOT of spare subforums floating around just doing nothing and well...yeah, I figure we may as well use them for something!
I have no other questions really after that! I will try my best to uphold everything we all agree on, but yeah, it's all down to you guys too! smile So yeah, any questions, advice, ideas, etc, are more than welcome! smile
