Ava, on the other hand, was a different story. She'd been weighing on his mind some ever since they returned to Serenia a little over a week ago. He had yet to visit her ever since he left the Mistress's household, and he wasn't able to leave any sort of note or even bid her goodbye. Among all the servants she was the closest to him by far, perhaps because their age difference was so small compared with the others, but all the same.
As he came upon another stall that caught his eye though, his mind came to focus on his task at hand. He'd been sent to find an herb or two, maybe a few more if he was lucky, plus a few blankets and things and to replenish their stocks. The blond had been wandering through the marketplace for a good while now, carrying a pack full of whatever Quan had put on the list that the older Orderite had shoved in his face earlier that morning. He only needed a few more things and he could go back to the inn and rest up again, maybe get a bit more studying done while he was at it.
At the current stall he made another exchange, a bit of money for some fine looking pillows - more for his benefit than Quan's; the man did say he preferred a hard slab over a soft pillow - before moving on. There was a few more things he needed...

This impressive looking gatherer is badly wounded; from the sling and brace that he wears it appears his collar bone is broken. Perhaps because he cannot hunt for a while, he has taken to selling some of his personal items and trophies to tide him over. You recognize the herbs as being rather precious and useful in creating potions.
You may converse with him while you peruse his wares and create any conversation you wish, you may also merely quietly look at his wares and only ask how much; this is entirely up to you.
You may either leave the stall and go visit another one, if you do so and then come back, your first roll will still apply,
Or you may talk with the stall keeper and buy the sand.
Reward: x2 Seggan Leaf or Viper Vine
You will need to write 200 words for this prompt alone for him to sell to you, any less and you will not receive the Dark or Golden Sand.
"Bit young, aren't ya?" the man asked, a questioning look about his face now that Ainsley had gotten closer. The blonde guessed he wasn't the sort of customer the man was expecting to draw, but all the same he was exactly that - a customer.
"What's it to you?" the younger Orderite retorted, then pointing at the Seggan leaf. "Young or not, I've still got the price you're looking for, for those Seggan leaf. Are you interested or not?"
Realizing his mistake, the man chortled and bagged a pair without even really letting Ainsley think on it too much. "Ah, let me mouth get a'ead of me again. Sorry 'bout that, boy. I'll give ya a deal fer yer trouble - two fer one, how 'bout it?" The wounded salesman seemed eager to please, so Ainsley dropped the amount for two leaves and took the little bag the man had put the leaves in.
"I appreciate the offer, but I was given just enough so I'll pay for the both of them," Ainsley said with a bit of a smirk. "You could probably use it, being injured like that and all. Best of luck," and he was off again. He spent a bit more time in the marketplace after that, perusing and occasionally pulling out the little bag of coins that Quan had given to him to spend for the both of them. So spend he did, and he returned to the inn with his arms full of things that he knew they lacked and then some.
What he didn't expect, however, was to get an earful from Quan about spending way too much.
