My brother is in the hospital, gravely ill.

My brother passed away peacefully tonight.
He will be missed.

Some days are harder than others. It was just him and me here (and the cats!). We all miss him, a lot. I had a mini-meltdown over the weekend, when I went to do laundry and found his clothes in the dryer. Haven't had the heart to go through his things yet, so his room is pretty much as he left it. I'm probably going to work on that this weekend, some.

Wow...not sure it can get any better...or rather worse...
Supposed to be off today and tomorrow on Bereavement leave, was going through my brother's stuff, and got called in to work...and laid off.
I am still in a state of shock, and have a massive headache.
Think I'm going to go to bed, even though it's only 6pm.
