Battles against the Firani dragons seemed to be a lot more complicated then Junjie had first imagined that they would be. The Kiandri had been pretty dangerous, their electric attacks having been something that he didn't want to experience again if he could help it, but the Firani... they were something else entirely. It took everything he had to stand up against one more them and even still he found himself getting singed. There was something about their powers that seemed to make him sweat a bit, as though he were something his own powers didn't stand up against as strongly. It had him relying heavily on the powers of the Aeduan, something that his Orderite blood granted him. It was one of those times when he was actually happy that he wasn't 'normal' because it was allowing him to keep himself alive.
Junjie was quick to throw up an energy shield, something that helped in deflecting some of the dragon's fire before casting a spell that would blind the creature. It was his best defense against the beast, before he was quick to retreat back a few steps, casting his next spell which would mostly annoy the Firani, that being entangling vines. Tangled and blinded both the dragon was forced to spend precious seconds on blasting the vines away into nothingness with it's fire breath. The next thing it did was shaking its head wildly, snarling all the while, waiting for it's eyes to clear from the spells. It wasn't pleased, that much was easy to tell, but when it was finally able to see again the one that it had been trying to eat... was gone? The dragon gave a roar that seemed to travel for miles, one that said exactly what the Firani was thinking about what had happened.
There was a time where it crashed around the area, looking around, trying to figure out where Jun and Abellio had vanished to. Once it was obvious that there was no signs of the dragon took to the air, flying off in search of those that had escaped, roaring all the while. It was certain that its roars were going to alert all of the other Firani in the area, making Junjie's task that much harder then it already had been.
"Best that we stay here for a little bit." Junjie whispered to Abellio, the two of them currently hiding under his cloak and some sand that had fallen on top of them from the dune they were pressed against. The sand covering them, the dragon having been recently blinded, and all of the smoke in the air from its fiery breath allowed the two of them to hide themselves but they could only stay here for so long, they would need to get moving soon. Patting his hand against Abellio's head Junjie said, "We will give it time to get on its way then we will hurry in the other direction." The more distance between them and the pissed off Firani the better if you asked him. Only once he felt safe did he push the two of them up out of their hiding spot and he hurried off with Abellio in his arms, just to make sure that they could move at their fastest pace.
