It was another windy day on Ayr, while her father was off doing...something he had not elaborated when he had left not that he normally elaborated on what he was doing when he went out. Though normally she could piece together what he had intended to do on his outing. If his spear was with him he intended on fighting something or was anticipating a run in with people.
Though..he normally kept his spear with him at all times, this day he had left it at home though he had taken a large pack with him instead. For a moment of panic the young girl wondered if he had left her for good. No..that still didn't make sense...after all his spear was his life he would be back for it.
Taking it gingerly in hand she left her home wondering if perhaps he had forgotten it behind. Ayr was her home but she had barely ever explored it and so trying to figure out which direction Burrom had gone in was tricky. He was light on his feet when he wanted to be..and today it seemed he didn't want to be tracked. The poor red head was getting quite lost on her search for her father.

If he could be anywhere else in the world besides Serenia, his first choice definitely wouldn't be Ayr. There was way too much wind, and the chance of running into a dragon while moving from one place to another was just too high, not to mention all the birds that could possibly try to attack you, thinking you to be some kind of prey or something trying to steal from their nests. Nevertheless, where Quan's acquaintances were was where he and his mentor usually went, so Ainsley was, once again, all on his own while the older Orderite went off to do some more business.
The teen had wandered into the rocks again, silently hoping he wouldn't encounter another dragon along the way, swinging a walking stick about and poking and prodding whatever he could. The rocks were, as expected, rocks, and nothing out of the ordinary decided to present itself, so he hummed a quiet tune and continued along a path that had been etched into the ground, likely due to constant use over a long period of time.
"Comforting," he muttered while looking back to see how far he'd come. He was a good distance away from the town he and Quan had originally come to, perhaps about a thirty-minute walk, or an hour long walk if he went at a more leisurely pace. Quan said that he'd be on his own until the following day though, so he didn't necessarily have to go back just yet. With a shrug, the teen continued on, keeping his eyes peeled for anything new or interesting that would come his way.
Granted, you know, it wasn't an enormous Ayrala. He'd be okay with running into just about anything else besides a dragon...

The young girl froze in her tracks as her large ears caught the sound of rocks...falling. The sound of movement. Spear clutched tightly in her hands she looked over her shoulder trying to pinpoint where she had heard the sound coming from. But the winds would whisk any sound quickly away and thus she was left disoriented. Her hair whipped around her face obscuring her sight and she was forced to move the red strands out of the way.
Whatever trail she had been hopelessly trying to follow were completely obscured by her pause and the wind picking up. Looking back panic flitted through her face, should she turn back? Their home...she couldn't see it!
Taking a couple steps backwards she went to try and relocate her home but she stopped as looking up she spotted a figure coming down from some rocks to the west of her. oh no!! did they see her??
