Survival on the island is up to YOU. Scattered across various places in the damaged Wonder Park are small pockets of hope, weapons that you can try to reach in order to increase your survivability. These are often extremely risky to take and carry. Items are classified into the types below. All weapons are first come first serve. A reminder that while items are important and may save you, carrying too many will slow you down, and decrease your escape roll chance!
Weapons available: All weapons are classified by allowing you to gain attack power, but are difficult to find. They are of limited supply and may break. - Handgun They seem to be everywhere but none of them are standardized meaning the bullets for each one is frustratingly different. This one is loaded only with half ammo. You can fire three shots from the handgun. Each shot does + 3 damage on top of your normal attacks. If the normal attack is result is 0 or negative, the result with the gun is 3. (subtract 1 from your escape rolls for every handgun you carry) - Shotgun A very large, unwieldy gun that is a lot more effective. This gun is loaded only with one shot. You can one shot from the shotgun. Each shot does damage equal to 50% of your opponent's REMAINING HP. (subtract 3 from your escape rolls for every shotgun you carry) - Throwing stars .... Really? Throwing stars are light but extremely difficult to use. You may only use this once. Roll a 6-sided dice. If you roll 1 or 6, you do 10 damage to your opponent. Otherwise, you do nothing. This takes up a turn. (subtract 1 from your escape rolls for every set of throwing stars you carry)
Healing Items available: All healing items are classified by their ability to heal a player. These can be found in a number of areas and are of limited supply. - Polysporin This will prevent at least the infection of wounds and help your wounds heal faster. You may use this up to three times on whomever. Each use heals you +5 HP (subtract 1 from your escape rolls for every polysporin you carry) - Ice pack This helps ease the pain and bruising. Phew. You may use this unlimited times. As long as you carry it, every single 24 OOC hours that pass will heal your character for +5 HP. It can only heal the person carrying it. You can use this indefinitely until discarded. Does not stack. (subtract 3 from your escape rolls for every icepack you carry) - Medkit Painkillers, gauze, a needle, thread, and anti-septic needed to treat a severe wound. You may use this once. It will heal you for 15 HP. (subtract 2 from your escape rolls for every medkit you carry)
Defensive Items available: The most common type of item. These ones may spare you from otherwise terrible damage or ward off enemies or even camouflage you for a bit. They may also break easily. - Chains Chains will slow an enemy down. If you fail to roll to escape, roll a 20-sided dice again. If you roll 5 or higher, you manage to escape! . You can only use this once. (subtract 2 from your escape rolls for every chain you carry) - Pair of Shoes It's a pretty decent pair of shoes. Maybe you can run faster with these. Your equipment load feels lighter. (add +1 to escape rolls.) You can use this indefinitely until discarded. Does not stack. - Kelvar Vest: Not the most comfortable, but b Add +10 permanently to your HP. You can use this indefinitely until discarded. Does not stack. (subtract 2 from your escape rolls for every vest you carry)
SPECIAL ACCESS CARDS: - Occasionally, you may run into a SPECIAL ACCESS CARD. It looks like in the chaos, a high-level staff member has dropped it by accident! Each SPECIAL ACCESS CARD leads only to a specific area. For instance, you may find a SPECIAL ACCESS CARD labelled PARABLE POOL. You will only be able to use it for that location by finding the secret security point.
SECRET SECURITY POINTS: - If you have a special access card and you reach that specific security point, congratulations, you have found a loot and shelter area. This will provide you shelter for 24 IC hours as well as some useful loot, such as attack, healing, and defensive items.

The sound of the helicopter's blades fills the air of Imagination Island as it hovers and then slowly descends onto the landing area. Minutes later the form of a dragon dives down with a fierce cry, and then launches back up again, a small body held limply in its claws. Eventually the creature drops again, only to settle itself protectively around the helicopter.

((ENTERING))
The roaring engine of a "borrowed" SUV entered the area, it's driver wide eyed at the sight that she encountered. She had heard the helicopter, but had thought that it had just been her imagination. Kiera had mentioned that there was a helipad area, but had no idea if a helicopter would even be there.
Well, Lydia had made it, and there was indeed a helicopter.
There was also a massive dragon that appeared to be almost guarding--wait no, protecting it.
Lydia had dealt with a dragon once before. It had been scary, and hellish, and during it all two of her companions had met their end to the tentacles of a kraken. This time, there was nobody to look out for, only herself. Just her, and her shotgun, and that monstrous beast that was no perking up it's head and staring her down.
Swallowing hard, Lydia grabbed for the gun, clutched it tightly in her hand, and fumbled for the door handle. Opening the door, she slid out, and ducked down, hiding herself from sight.
Behind a flimsy door that she somehow decided would make a good shield.
Giving her head a quick shake, she scooted out, turned, and aimed. She had an awfully big target to hit.
"HEY LIZARD....LIPS." She called out, because that's what she was supposed to do, right? That's what always happened in those monster adventure thriller type movies. Some catch phrase was always yelled. "D-DINO...BUTT." This....really wasn't improving at all. Rather than continue on trying to be cool about this whole thing, she fired her gun.
Lydia fell on her a** from the recoil, her shoulder throbbing as she stumbled back. The dragon stood, and moving at a speed she could barely discern, came at her.
She was so toast.

The Dragon was coming, and Lydia needed to move. She thought about ducking back into her SUV, thought about it some more, and then realized she had stood so freaking frozen in place thinking about it that it was really too late to do much of anything. Claws were coming for her, and she finally attempted to backpedal, but not fast enough to stop them tearing down her legs, claws raking through soft flesh and spilling blood onto the ground.
She cried out in pain, and raising her gun, shot it again.
The blast sent the dragon stumbling back, and this time Lydia crawled towards her SUV, blood trailing on the ground behind her, intent on getting inside before she became draco dinner.
USING PREMIUM SHOTGUN 2/2 HP: 14/32 SUV HP: 20 Target: Dragon Damage: 12.5 -> 13? Dragons HP: 12/50 (I think this is right)
The helipad came in sight, as Glenda sped along the road at breakneck speed.
So did the dragon.
She smiled grimly, and pressed her foot onto the gas until she felt it hit floorboard. "We all gotta die sometime, sweetie."
She lit her cigar again, and put her hands on the 10 and 2.

Hawkeye came on in just in time to see 'Granny' driving her car into a dragon. And she lived.
Okay. That was kind of badass.
Parking his car for now, he climbed on out, staring at the helicopter that was here.
"One does exist!" he called out before frowning. Of course, a helicopter wouldn't do them any good if no one knew how to pilot one properly.
Even then, this wasn't quite like Jurassic Park. There were plenty of beasties that could come after them in the air. It may be all too easy to go down in a flaming ball of death.

Hannah was pretty sure she'd never forget the sight of an old woman driving a SUV into a huge dragon. Never. "Holy crap," she breathed, hands loosening on the wheel as her car stopped and the dragon dissipated. That was epic.
Slamming the door after scrambling out of her car, the Security officer jogged over to Glenda's now totalled SUV, "Miss Glenda! Ya alright? That was bloody fantastic!"
Only after reaching her destination did she notice the blood trail on the ground, leading over to yet another SUV that she'd completely managed to miss in her amazement over the dragon and Glenda. "Hello? Anyone alive in there?"

Glenda was still sitting at the wheel of her ruined SUV, eyes squeezed shut.
She'd expected a chorus of angels by now, or at least a little devil fellow with a fork prodding her on account of that one time she got cozy with Mr. Nelson behind the pewpit back in '88.
Instead, she heard a very familiar voice.
"Miss Hannah?" Her eyes flew open. "I ain't dead?"
She hopped out of the wreckage of her truck, bruised and cut up but mostly whole.
"Well ain't it jus' grand," she exclaimed, smiling genially. She dug around in her fanny pack, fetched out her Wonderpark notebook and pencil and began scribbling something down.

Lydia thought that she was going to die now. She had managed on shaking legs to get back into her SUV and shut the door behind her, but that offered little by way of reassurance against a giant pissed off dragon that was now bearing down on her.
And then a miracle happened. A blurry miracle, because at some point Lydia's glasses had fallen off of her face, either inside the SUV or out she wasn't sure, but a miracle nonetheless. Another SUV came roaring onto the scene, and that SUV went crashing into the dragon.
And then the dragon simply....disappeared. It was the first time she had witnessed a dissipation, and it left her feeling confused, and awestruck, her mouth gaping open at the sight. She didn't even notice when two more SUVs pulled into place, just staring straight ahead at a place where a dragon once was.
"Hello? Anyone alive in there?"
Startled, Lydia turned a wide eyed face towards the drivers side window, jolted in her seat, and landed her hand on the door handle before pulling on it so that the door sprang wide open
"Yes. Yes alive yes." She was nodding her head a little too rapidly, her tangled mess of curly hair that was barely being held in a ponytail bouncing behind her head.
"That was...." She breathed. "So. Incredible."
Still wide eyed. She might have been a little bit in shock. Or she might have just been like that naturally.

"Not dead in the least, Miss Glenda." She grinned, "but I think your badass points just went up by at least a hundred."
As the older woman started writing in her notebook, Hannah wandered off towards the other SUV to check on the stranger. Who looked a bit overwhelmed, in her opinion. Dragons and crazy awesome old ladies could do that to a person. "You alright too? D'you need any patching up?" Enough blood to leave a trail and the wide-eyed look the lady was sporting wasn't exactly the best indicator of good health, in Hannah's limited amount of experience.
"And yeah, that was Miss Glenda in action. Pretty incredible, for sure." Her grin was back, strangely proud although she hardly knew the older woman and had only just met her, besides. But Hannah was pretty sure that their chances of survival went up significantly just by being in the same group as Glenda. Awesomeness had to rub off at least a little bit, right?

Nadya was pretty much running for dear life at this point and didn't stop until she reached the Helipad. Stop as in stumbling and falling right to her hands and knees as she made some deep gasping breaths.
This was the most exercise she's had in a while.
Her stomach grumbled angrily at being empty and tormented. Maybe she should have considered the sardines...
Either way she looked up shakily, "...L..Lydia...! I made it!"

"Nadya?" Hannah blinked several times, astonished, before a smile broke out on her face. "You're alive! That's great - here, you okay?" She reached out, intending to help the other woman up on her feet again.

Then Hannah spoke to her and Nadya seemed to brighten up considerably, "Ah! I had hoped you lived, too! You promised to show me Star Wars," there was a teasing edge to her voice as she tried to lighten her own humor with the comment. She let Hannah help her up.
"I was worried for you. I am also worried about my little ones but ... I suppose they would not like me much anymore..." There was something oddly heartbroken in the comment as she made it.

"That I did indeed," she grinned, waiting until she was sure Nadya had found her feet before letting go.
"Ahh, well, they don't all seem to be equally hostile. Who knows, they might still recognize ya? We even got defended by a Cerberus at one point, so it's definitely possible." The smile she directed at the other woman was one meant to reassure; Nadya had sounded so fond of the creatures she took care of that Hannah had a hard time imagining that they would not return the affection, even now.

Nadya seemed soothed by Hannah's words and nodded a little bit, "I wish...I could take them with me or something," she pursed her lips at her irrational wishes and desires. Things that were not plausible in any universe.
In this situation Fynn, Ariel and the others would get to be free and happy, right? That is what she sincerely hoped and desired in the end.
That is what Nadya always wanted in the end. She allowed herself these delusional thoughts.
"We...We should get on Helicopter, yes?" Gently she started to pull at Hannah to board.
